If I were Tinubu, I would zone Senate Presidency to the North West. And my reason is very simple: If the Supreme Courts nullifies the election and demands a fresh presidential election be conducted, both Tinubu and Shettima will no longer be in power and the Senate President will become the Acting President. This means the Senate President will supervise the conduct of the fresh election.

The North West and the North East seem to be more loyal to Tinubu. That explain why there are fewer Obidient elements in those region. However in the South South and the South East, there is a preponderance of Obidient elements. This means that it is likely that there will be some people in Akpabio's inner cabinet that are Obidient. Same goes for Orji Uzor Kalu's inner cabinet. Thus if I were Tinubu, I would be very careful on who becomes Senate President because that person can become acting president with some influence should there be a need for fresh elections. He would need someone who is very loyal and whose inner cabinet is also very loyal.
