You can try and use student.globalpay.wu.com ( Western union business solution ) to pay fees.

If someone pays on your behalf and you need a refund at any time, the cash would be sent to the same person’s account.

Enick:
Good day Guru.

I received admission for a PGD in Lambton College. I went to the bank in an attempts to pay with Form A but the bank claimed they would need to flywire information of the school before they are effect payment on CBN platform. Sadly, they have refused to make the payment.

How would I address this issue?

Thanks for your prompt reply.

Thanks.
She is actually in the US. Does she need to pay money into my account or just submit a statement of account and sworn affidavits of support stating that should be financially assist with money if I have any emergency need for money during my school.

PapaObi:
If you have all the listed below and decide to add your sister as co sponsor that would be fine as long as she doesn't have dependants I.e. children. They would calculate that the money she makes would be put towards her own family, hence if and when you need money from her it may not be available.

Hello Great people,

Please would it be necessary to seek for a sponsor if I have made my 1 year full tuition fees payment, have 10k in my CIG account for living expenses and also having a balance of 10k CAD in my SOA especially as the possible sponsor is my younger sister but does not about 10k CAD in her account?

If it is idea to use her, I will appreciate if you help me with the documents that would be required of her

I got offer letter for a 2 years post graduation. While filling the IMM1294E, I became bit confused. In my LOA Level of study is "post graduate program". There is three option in IMM194E about the level of study. It's a College-Certificate,College-Diploma,College-Applied Degree. Now, which one should I choose?

What should I attach in my evidence of work section? My program has a Co-op which was written on the acceptance letter only. There are no other document from the school of that?
Thank you.

Hello

Outside the large pages you have to scan in your statement of account, what are the other benefits of using MBS over SOA?

If MBS is used during application, can VO access details of your bank transactions beyond the period you submitted MBS?

I was given a UCl number during my tourist visa application. Should I use the same number in my study permit application or claim I have never had the number?
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Perfectyyyyyy: 12:28pm On Oct 23, 2021
Did you use agent for your application?

What was the reason(s) for the Ban?

I don’t think you can appeal a ban especially if their reason for giving you a ban is genuine.

You should be aware that US, UK, Canada, New Zealand and Australia shares informations like this so there is the possibility that mentioning it which is the appropriate this to do, in any those of countries’s visa application will capture their attention and they would think deeply before approving a visa for you.

Xydami:
Please what do I need to do to appeal dat 5years ban is too much for me na..but hope it won't affect me if I want to try another country?pls who do I need to talk to for appealing

Please can my bank transfer money at CBN rate to GIC account?

Scott99tish:
Apart from GIC, you have lot to work on;
1. You are married.
How will she fair in your absence ?
You need to show she will be financially fine in your absence… Her work, payslip, Assets, anything to show…
You also need to show your statement of account with funds too…

Your parent paying for your GIC won’t be enough because of your wife.

I am asking this for a friend. She wants to know if it is possible to withdraw her money from her GIC accounts in case study permit application was refused and don’t want to reapply?
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Perfectyyyyyy:
When writing statement of purpose, do I have to state the amount in my bank account in the proof of fund section or just the tuition fees and living cost?

While I understand that my job would come in the employment section, is that section the right place to talk about my wife employment and my business which would support in funding while I am away?
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Perfectyyyyyy: 2:37pm On Oct 19, 2021
They would have checked his or her financial document before issue PPR so that should be ruled out.

The only reason why they could happened is because the individual may have a fake country visa in his or her passport so it was detected at the point of stamp hence the refusal.

makano:
Its not a good thing at all..

One thing that can lead to a refusal after PPR is FRAUD...

Fake financial documents, fake passport, falsified information and all..

The person you talked about didn't probably follow up simply because he or she knows his/her application has some fake documents e.t.c..

If you submit a clean application, there is no how you will get a refusal after PPR...

Peace

Guys I am back again. Make una nor vex oh.

Can I include my Binance and Trustwallet screenshot showing funds? I have about 2,000 USD there. Same with Bamboo (Stocks)app.

Instead of using my younger sister as sponsor, can she just transfer like 3m into my account and thereafter prepare a gift deed?

Lastly, writing SOP is a huge task for me oh. Lots of things in my small head and I am struggling to put them down in papers cohesively as well as logically while trying to prove to the VO that I deserve a Study Permit Approval.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Perfectyyyyyy: 7:21am On Oct 18, 2021
To Gurus and those who have successfully written at SOP.

I would like to ask if it is better to write a straightforward letter or create bolded subheadings inside the letter which is clearly addressing issues that may of concern. For instance,

Address.
Introduction
I am ABb and work with CDa and you
Why Canada
Because Canada is beautiful .....
Why this program
I am passionate about banking and management......
Home Ties.
My father and mother are in Nigeria and I have lands with cars.
Proof of Fund
I have 3billions in my account and a yatch in the sea

Welcome on board fellow Canadan.

I am not a guru but a fellow applicant like you. However, from what I have learnt so far, it is better for you to apply for program closely related to your career(Banking or finance). This would show career progression. But be ready to write a very convincing story of your long study gap in your SOP.

Just start. God willing, you will get there!

ehizario2012:
This Canada runs. I've read about 50 pages of this thread now, but still don't have a full hang of it. Congratulations to all the success stories and, in advance to all the work in progress.

Graduated 2012, Geology. Been in banking from 2014 till date. Have a wife and three kids.

I intend relocating to Canada through the student visa process. Need to be sure on which would be better, postgraduate in geology or anything related to banking (based on my years and field of experience.)

Any advise on where to start from would be appreciated. God bless.

@Bobomaigida and Others

Yes. The haulage is business is registered and I have some invoice as well as receipts for some transactions. But but the business account balance is relatively small because the nature of the business is often hand-to-hand transactions.

Lastly, I was denied a Uk vis in year 2018 for unexplained lump sum. However I immediately address the issue and got the 6months visa. Travel and retuned. Now, should I mention the refusal in my study visa application or hide it since it was addressed and visa issued?

Bobomaigida:
Apologies for the mistake, if you are able to make the funds in your account up to 30000 CAD that will be very good, though there are some people that had less and they got PPR. You have strong home ties that you will show, is the haulage business registered?
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Perfectyyyyyy: 11:52am On Oct 17, 2021
Once again thanks.

I am a male. My wife and kids would be staying behind. My wife is employed so she would have enough to take care of herself and kids. In additional to that, I have a Haulage truck what would be generating fund for them and for other purposes while I am away.

Bobomaigida:
Hi Perfect,

Will you be travelling with your two kids and your husband?

The key is really is to show that funds will be available to take of you and your dependents whether they are coming with you or not, if your kids are coming with you, at least 1 year living expenses must be available(10,000+8000= 18000) plus other things like flight ticket etc. That being said if your husband has any funds he can also add his own to, and you present him as a co-sponsor, but then you have to show what he does and how he earns income that he will be using to support himself after contributing funds for the educational expense.

Great People and Gurus.

I am here again. I believe it is better to ask and get clarification for any uncleared issue than to make mistakes. So kindly pardon my continuous questions.

Now to the question. I have keenly observed that lots of people are getting refusal relating to finance and a larger percentage of them used sponsors.

I am married with 2 kids and going a 2years program with Co-op. Sadly i will only have 20k CAD left after 1year tuition fees payment. Will that amount be enough for self sponsor? I wants to ask so I could avoid challenges/poor documentation will proving business and relationships of sponsors.

@Bobomaigida
Thank you so much for taking your time to provide me with such a detailed reply. Honestly this has gone a long way to help me clear my head of the confusion

After reading all your thoughts and analysis of the various school, I have decided to settle for Lambton college.

Again, I would said a million thanks

Bobomaigida:
Hi Perfect,

Starting with this issue, if a document is going to be issued from your company that relates to you then it won't be proper for you to sign, another officer can execute it for you.

For the other questions you posed
1. I do not know how you arrived at the poor rating you ascribed to Lambton college, however, from available records, Lambton college had the 2nd highest number study visas issued to colleges behind CDI college in 2020. That being said it is as if you are preparing your mind for a denial hence your reference to the school policy to not defer admission, aren't hoping to get your SP? What you can do if you decide to go ahead with Lambton is to apply for SP very early, like 6 months before your programme start date so that you can get your decision on time, if it turns out bad you can request for a refund, at least the school does refunds.
2. The NBCC offer is only for one year, if you do ahead with this and succeed with the SP, it means you will most likely get 1 year PGWP after your programme, there is no province that gets you a PR faster, however, some provinces have higher employment opportunities than some. That is why IRCC do rural pathways to encourage people to move to the rural provinces
3. If you decide to pursue UNB, you have to check when their admission is open and when it will close, you can use your work experience to cover for the 2:2 grade but your have to have a convincing letter of intent that can sway the admission office to give you the admission, you have to be ready to do some extra work to get the admission( write letter of intent stating that you need MBA to understand overall business models that you can apply to your work and that you are on the verge of getting promotion to a high post hence you need the MBA etc) and then start your SP application.

In all, consider which option will give you peace of mind before deciding which to choose.

All the best.

Please I would like to urgently discuss with you on some deeply pressing make for advice. I have repeatedly sent your email waiting for your reply.

But before then@Frankrobbn1 , @ and Others with lots of experience.

Please advice and I am a little confused.

1. Lambton College offed me admission for 2yrs Bm-HR with Co-op and a fees of $11,500 yearly but without room to defer admission if necessary. I am getting a poor rating of this college from Nigerians and it seems not to be a popular choice for Nigerians.

2. New Brunswick community college also offered me admission for 1year in Human Resources Management without Co-op and a fees of $9,468. Option to defer if need be. School fees payment not immediately required.
I learnt it is faster to get Permanent Residency in this province, I don’t know how true.

3. After both recent offers, I am just having a thought that I should give a shot at University of New Brunswick for 1year MBA program which cost $8956 since I have a 3years CAC registered Business Enterprise (1 limited and 1 enterprises) which I run as part time. Also, I am in a full time employment at Administrator (over 15years in the job title and establishment) but my B.sc of second class lower and OND are in sciences.

Please kindly help me clear my head and give the best advice on all cases.

Thanks a million.

Good evening gurus and experts.

I just received my Lambton college Letter of Acceptance. Reading through it, I observed (see highlighted portion) that a section says “Deferral will not be approved”

Does this clearly mean I can’t defer my admission and or ask for a refund in cases of refusal or delay from IRCC?
