Hi guys, I just discovered this thread and I must say you guys are doing an awesome job. Congrats to all those that just got ITA and PPR.

Please I would like the seniors to analyze this my matter. My timeline is this:
AOR: May 10
Medical passed: June 26
IP1&Na2: June27
1P2:July 26 till date.
I sent a mail to CIC to find out my Visa Office and I got this response..
Our Office(CPC Ottawa) is processing your application. Your file is currently under review and requires additional verifications. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times.

Unfortunately, at this time,we are not able to determine when your application will b finalized but out our office will contact you as soon as all verifications are completed or if any additional information or documents are required.

I have tried to ignore this mail, but it worries me, I won't lie. Is there anyone who has received this type of response from them. What do you guys think? Should I just prepare my mind for the 6months? Please your inputs will be highly appreciated. Sorry for the long post.

My opinion is there's nothing to worry about. Ottawa is d blazing VO of d moment. On d other hand, if u listed a government job on ur application, it may also be reason for delay. But I'd say go for gcms notes.

Yeah, it depends on whether the man is ready to come back or not and again they should calculate her scores with/without the man, if its high with him he might have to come back and do the registry thing, if not she should apply as a single person and she can bring him to Canada after she gets PR. By then she can go and meet him wherever he is, get married and bring him on spousal application.

Thanks @elfmann & @dammiehar for ur insight.

Don't worry u won't by d grace of God, u have 90 days to complete your application so just continue pressing IQAS per second per second via social media, emails, calls, etc

You can change the speculative date even after ITA, it wud b regarded as an error so it's no biggie. I made some changes after I got my ITA also

Thanks @Wura27.

IQAS has vehemently refused or neglected to send my ECA report after their 30 business days processing time despite calls n emails. Well, I entered d pool with d ECA number (which is IMM+file no.) and a speculative date. I know I will get ITA with 467. I just hope I won't ve to reject cos of date issue.

Hi Guys,

Urgent question, my profile says I have one day left to submit my application.

I am ready to submit my application now but just realised the exchange rate has gone up. I have 4.9m bank balance showing on my statement but the rate as at today is 5.1m. The last time I checked the rate it was 4.5m to 18,825 CAD . I really do not know what to do.

1. Can I print an online bank statement from a separate account to cover the rest as banks are closed now and send the letter from the bank at a later date?
2. My EE profile will expire if I decline ITA
3. Will SINP send my nomination again if I create a new EE profile as my Sinp certificate says my nomination expires on the 28th of Oct
4. When it says I have 1 day left to submit, does that mean it expires at 12 midnight Canadian time
Please I need your advice.

If i was in ur shoes, I will submit my application as it is, then go an get an updated statement and raise CSE quickly.

Good day Gurus in the house.

I want to initiate plan to relocate to Canada using the Express Entry system (Permanent Residence). I am married with two kids, presently working with over 9 years of experience. But the arrangement on ground is for me to relocate first while my wife and two kids (3yrs & 5yrs) will join me after my settling down.

I am new on this platform and have reached out to Attorney David Cohen (I am sure most of us knows his firm). The professional fee requested by this firm is rather on the high, $1,990.

My enquiries are listed below:

1. Can I initiate the process myself without going through any firm or agent?
2. How do I go about the process from start to finish if i need to do it myself without any agent?
3. If I include my family in the processing, will it increase my chances of getting ITA, noting my wife also works with over 7 years experience.
4. At what point will I go for the IELTS exam?

Please help with all the necessary info I may require to start the processing.

Thank you ALL

You do not need any agent for the EE process. U can do it all on your own. Read page 0 here and CIC website to understand what the process entails. All the info u need is here.
On a lighter note, if u still need an agent abeg give me half of the money wey Cohen charge I go do a better job for u. grin

I didn't see any drop down in the EE profile.
I added my two certificates in the profile I submitted

Check to make sure that you selected "ECA done" for both degrees and filled the number and date.

Good morning house and big congrats to all who just got PPR,other hopefuls ,the Golden mail will soon land!
Please those who paid for Ielts online,is it very fast and reliable?
Also, can my husband pay for both his fees and mine via his Zenith Banking app? If yes,how do we go about it?
We are not paying separately since British Council specified Zenith ,First Bank and GTB as the banks to pay from and,I don't use any of them.
Please kindly advise.
P.S : we want to make the payments now as the deadline for registration is the 5th of Aug.
Thanks.

Your husband can pay for his and urs as well. However, he needs to do it separately. Just follow the instructions sent to you after registering. It easy and convenient. Did same for me and my wifey via my zenith account. You should get confirmation in about 24hrs.

I don't get what u mean by one page. Is it not 6 months statement CIC requested? Or r u joking? I'm not even finding the jokes funny again, any small comment can trigger fear for my application.

Congrats to all IP2 and PPR recipients. When would people congratulate me too....

Madam relax na cheesy

D only document CIC requested for POF is d letter from d bank containing d stipulated info. However, due to inability to always get d letters with all d info from d banks, hence, the addition of statements to support. So if u can get d letter as requested, then u r gud even without adding ur statements. wink

I need an advice here please. I did my ECA with IQAS and when they eventually sent it, there was a typo on the name of my institution. While reporting it, I also asked them to add my middle name (as it is on my international passport) on the report which they have done. But on a second, my masters degree I evaluated with them has just my surname and first name. So my question is, is (will) there be any problem with having my middle name on the ECA report while it's not on the evaluated degree?

Someone should help please 'cos I need to write IQAS tomorrow morning.

Thanks

How long did it take you to receive ur ECA report? I mean from receipt of the second email.

Hello all,

How do i claim points for having a sibling with PR in canada? what form of supporting documents or evidence will the VO need?

Document requirements

-This documentation is required if the applicant indicates that they, or their accompanying spouse or common-law partner, have a family member in Canada who is a permanent resident or a Canadian citizen.
-A copy of both sides of the family member's Canadian citizenship document, Canadian birth certificate and/or permanent resident card must be provided.
-Evidence that the family member currently resides in Canada must be provided (a residential lease, mortgage documents, utility bills, etc.).
The documents must show their address in Canada and should be recent (dated within six months prior to submission).
-Proof of the relationship of the applicant or the accompanying spouse or common-law partner to the family member must also be provided (e.g., a birth certificate, an official document naming the applicant as a relative, a copy of the inside back cover of the relative’s passport showing the relative’s parents’ marriage certificate, legal adoption documents and any other documents that prove or describe the relationship).
-If the applicant claims a stepbrother or stepsister, there should be no evidence in the application that the marriage or common-law relationship between the parents of the stepbrother or stepsister has broken down.
