Wow,congrats bro...but pls as regards the "CAPITAL LETTERS", must our answers really be in it? Becos I wrote some in capitals and some in lowercase.? Could this have an effect on my results?.

Thanks...@joyuzo.

There's is no rule dat ur answers must be in CAPS. However, wen u write in small letters u ve to be extra careful because if u write a noun like "Monday" as "monday", u will be marked down. So it's safer to write all in CAPS to avoid such scenarios. Hope dis helps.

Thanks Perks.

Will the LL.B be regarded as a professional degree and awarded the scores for a Master degree?

Can you tell me why IQAS please? Does it mean WES gives it a lower score?

Will really appreciate your response.

Yes. IQAS assess LL.B as a professional degree

Guys pls, my friend needs to evaluate her law school degree, can she use IQAS or WES?

Also, does she have to evaluate her LLB or the law school degree will do?

Assess only LL.B with IQAS. U don't need lawschool

@perks u dey vex oo. pls help me with materials for listening especially n reading.

I did more of listening practice on YouTube. For all others it was mainly ieltsliz.com and ielts buddy.com.

Read explanations on each test module so u understand Wat to look out for.

Also, make use of the free British council materials u get access to wen u register for d test. Listen to videos of the ielts examiners explaining d test. I found it useful.

For d exam, write ur answers in Capital letters. Warning: dis is for Listening & Reading ONLY

All d best

My transcript was forwarded to wes by my school. Wes replies that it is not accepted as it was not sent by the institution. This is untrue as I was not involved in sending it. Didnt even.sight it. What can I do please?

I don't understand why they would say that though. Maybe you should also check with ur school. Additionally, if you have evidence like receipt of payment to d school for d transcript, a copy of ur application for d transcript etc, u can try stating ur case wit dem.

It's highly unlikely that a diagnostic X-ray during pregnancy will harm a developing baby. Most X-ray exams — including those of the arms, legs, head, teeth or chest — won't expose your reproductive organs to radiation, and a leaded apron and collar can be worn to block any scattered radiation.

Learned counsel, am sure u ve d answer u require but just want further affirmation. Lawyers only need to assess LL.B. And IQAS is d preferred body for us.

Pls how long should the proof of funds stay after u submit ur profile at post ITA. Can one remove it from the bank or leave it till the visa comes out?

It has to stay there till u get PR. And even till u land Canny cos in rare cases they ask at Port of entry.

Can he claim 3years in total to claim full points or just 1 year of clinical practice.
Thanks for your response

@jolao, you mentioned that your spouse is working in a non clinical role, that is what I referred to as his other job. It's pretty simple, fill his work experience as it is. If Mr X worked as a gardener from 2010-2011, then janitor from 2012-2013, then chef from 2014-2015, that is how Mr X should fill his work experience. I got your pm but I'm not responding to pms from new members as all questions are best asked and answered on the thread for maximum benefit to all.

He can claim 3 years provided he's able to get reference letters from d respective employers.

Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum and thread, I have recently withdrew my EE profile and later decided to try submitting a new profile only to get a message saying I'm not eligible. I have about 4 years of experience in IT and two years in marketing. My first application was related to my marketing experience and I was in the pool with a low CRS score 374. My thoughts were to compensate with a job offer but that is almost impossible as you need to have a Canadian work experience or must have worked with a Canadian company to boost your chances. An immigration agent suggested I withdraw my application and go with one of the occupation in demand from one of the provinces which I did only to be devastated with the info. My question will be if anyone has gone through similar situation and what they did?

U need to check each entry carefully. Make sure details entered are valid. Check if ur ielts result is older than 2yrs, check d POF amount entered etc

Good day house,
I would like to know your advice on my situation. I have the sum of 7,500 cad in a school account paid over a year ago in anticipation of schooling in canada.my visa was rejected but the said sum is still with the school. I am wondering if i can use the receipt gotten from the school as part of my proof (since going to school Will be unnecessary if i get a PR).

Thanks.

Is it in an account in ur name in Canada? If not I doubt if u can use dat. Also, is it possible to request a refund? If yes, then let dem refund it into ur nigerian account and use dat jejely.

lol it really is, I feel like punching my screen anytime I login and still see that not applicable. From what I understand the getgcms site is a 3rd party site, and yeah we would have to fill the consent form and submit it to them. They charge 20 dollars for it, the service is for people outside Canada. The problem I have is that it takes at least 30days before you receive it and that's another wait. It's just too much.

If you have someone in Canada who is either a citizen or PR they can get d gcms notes for u for just 5CAD. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp

Hi Guys,

I have been a follower of this thread for few weeks and I have found it very helpful and informative. Big ups to all who are contributing to this platform. My IELTS result just came out LRSW 8.5/7/7/7.5 and I intend to enter the EE pool as soon as possible but a major stumbling block is my ECA. My School (LAUTECH) has been on strike for almost a year now and it doesn't look like the school is going to resume anytime soon. Is there anyone who is in similar situation? I only have my statement of result and from what I have read here, I don't think that will suffice. Is there anyway around this? Your input will be much appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.

Good scores u got there. As for ur ECA, ur statement of result is sufficient, however, d challenge u might have is getting ur school to send ur transcript to WES or IQAS depending on which u choose. U might want to find out if the non academic staff in exams n records r working.

Lol, good question! Thought of plagiarism should be sufficient to discourage anyone from writing word for word. There might be no rule against it but it only makes your job duties appear like you outlined it to suit the requirement, not that you carried out those activities, even if you have.

Precisely!!!
