Remxyj: Yaaaaay... I made it to part 2. This ministry is bearing great fruit o. Weldone seniors
Aor: July 5 Medical passed: July 21 NA/IP1- I missed the change so no date. ADR: August 1 (RPPR Fee) Ip2: August 18 ( When I noticed)
I stated earlier in part one that I have a cute addition to my family last week Friday, should I just wait for PPR mail since I'm now in Ip2 to notify Cic or i should still go ahead and raise a CSE? Don't really understand how Ip1 or 2 background check works, so I hope this is Ip2 Please advice cos I don't wanna long things for myself.
Congrats. Certainly IP2. I think u should raise CSE for the baby ASAP. U will receive ADR for medical, increase POF n application fee. |

Patterns18: Dear Seniors, I was refused a Study Visa in 2004. Should I be answering "Yes" to these questions?
STATUTORY QUESTIONS 1. Has ***** you been refused refugee status, or an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country?
2. Has ***** ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country? Please answer "YES" to both. U can proactively complete and attach a schedule A form like some peeps here ve done previously cos they will most likely send ADR for it while processing ur app. 1 Like |

temmytee1: please i need advice. All my documents are in my maiden name. i.e IELTS, TBills certificate, ECA etc. I'm about to change my name. would you advise that i go ahead and change my name, then attach a LOE when applying or should i just complete this process with my maiden name? Thanks U don't need to change ur name for this EE purpose as other peeps here have used maiden name and have NEVER been an issue. However, if u prefer to still go ahead with the change of name, an affidavit of change of name and newspaper publication should be sufficient evidence to prove it. |

Ehiobe: Please guys, how do they verify one's employment? For those that have gotten PR did they call your employer? The company I work is a very small company we don't even have a website. Verification is usually done through the documents you submitted and other open source information like LinkedIn, facebook etc (so tidy those up). Additionally, they MAY contact your organisation where they are not satisfied and wish to further clarify. 2 Likes 3 Shares |

For those asking about sending transcripts to IQAS personally see below from IQAS.
I am applying for an Educational Credential Assessment for immigration purposes. Do transcripts/mark sheets have to be sent directly by the school to IQAS? Yes. IQAS must ensure that your credentials are authentic. This means that your school must send your official transcripts (or attested copies or originals) directly to the IQAS office in a sealed envelope.
In rare cases where the issuing institution is not able to send transcripts directly to IQAS, they may provide you with a sealed envelope with your attested transcripts and you may courier it to our office. The envelope must remain sealed and has to be stamped with the institution’s official seal across the back flap. If there are concerns about the integrity of the documents, our office will contact you. |

bigfido: For the dude that passed the ielts that is complaining bitterly, please be thankful to God.
I have written ielts 7 times. My journey started since 2015. My Wes has been ready since then, but because of age and ielts, I have been falling short. I wrote ielts and got moderate score. I didn't know what was required then, since then, it has been a battle for me. My last 3 scores were 8,7.5,7,6... 7.5,7.5,7.5,7... 7.5,8,7,7..after the 6th one in June, I swore I was done with this dream. I had sunk so much money into this. I have gone to dubai to write celpip, went to dubai again for new brunswick info session, spent money 2ice on SINP and all to no avail. I was frustrated and devastated. July, I told my spouse to let me try ielts one more time. Even thou she didn't want to see me hurt again, she let me have my way. As for her she was done. She wanted the dream closed and buried. I don't blame her. So I paid and decided to change venue, this time I went to Ibadan, meaning I was spending more again. Then something changed. I prayed a lot about it. For catholics amongst us, please pray the prayers for exams to St Joseph of Cupertino. I went into the hall, did my best and left. I couldn't even beat my chest about my performance. I have been humbled by Ielts. But I kept on praying. I am not going to fail the 7th time. In between that time, a stranger in Lere2017 on this platform came into my life. She needed something from me. I actually wasn't in the mood to talk to her (reply her pm) but I did. We got talking and I told her my story. She was touched and she also truly prayed for me seriously. She will send me messages almost everyday telling me how much I was in her prayers and letting me know all is well. Yesterday midnight was the most awkward time of my life.. From 12 am till 7 am this morning, I was refreshing ielts website to check my result. The fear and panic was too intense. When I didn't see anything, I decided to go to their office to pick up my result.. That drive was filled with swallowing stone like saliva. On the bridge, I decided to refresh it again.. My result was there. My soul left my body and my eyes became blurry. I didn't know what I was reading but I knew I was reading.. L-9, R-8,S-8,W-7
I felt water swell up in my eyes. I understood what it is to look for something within your grasp and yet not have it. I am still basking in this euphoria so I can't real explain my ordeals. So please if you have it on a platter of gold, don't come here to rub it in on people that are going through a lot of even have a slice of what you have. For me the journey starts soon. I now have 450 points. I pray we all get to the promise land. Thank you @lere2017 I appreciate you. That's the beauty of this thread. Goodluck to everyone. I apologise for the long post and misspellings Finally!!! Congrats bro ![grin](https://www.nairaland.com/faces/grin.png) 2 Likes 1 Share |

MRSDA:
I put all my work experiences in Work history when filling the EE form, they are asking for references, I am an entrepreneur and I have been for 6 years, for that I suppose my Business Name Certificate will suffice.
Other jobs, I can't get references as two are now closed and one has changed names 3ce and new management and stuff, will employment letters only work? This isn't adding to our points, since I am not primary abi is it principal applicant? Since u r not the PA, move everything to personal history jo. After all no points are given for spouse work experience in Naija except u worked in Canada. My take. 3 Likes |
