People pass Level 1 studying with just Schweser. Some people (not a lot) prefer the Curriculum. Just have a look at both, with the knowledge that you can pass studying either of them, then choose.

My background is just like an every average Nigerian.

I saw the schweser material online for $1,499 and thats quite expensive.
