Rafidi: As I said earlier I am not asking you to believe , I am only narrating my ordeal. I am not a fool and I know what I saw ,watch the video before u start saying what you dnt know. There were no police on my street until they were called the police were at area 1/ube road with the protesters who were putting on white ,while some of them entered streets wit out the white overall(those were the ones throwing teargas ) I am not one to support any party or govt ,..I am only narrating my experience and it's not compulsory you believe ,you can look and pass if u dnt believe. Meanwhile tgis isn't the first time they re having such movement in central area, all of the ones they have had in this neighbourhood has been so far peaceful until ystoday's bt it's not the same for every area ... All I am saying is if they have issues with the govt they should face them and protest in NASS,Federal secretariat or courts not in residential areas and risk the life's of innocent people who dnt even know the history of their issues. I am supporting no govt,no religion or tribe ..I belong to 1 nigeria |

ezenwajosh: My dear this isn't media or them say ,,,I watched it happen live in front of my house hence I took shots of the little I could ... I guess they are trying to hard to gain attention of the govt so they will do their bidding ,,, I dnt even know the generation of this whole thing and I honestly care less all I want is peace ,,,and I never jstified the police killing or wounding anyone bt just imagine if the police weren't there the kind of damage the protesters would have done ,,am sure u haven't even seen the video . I am under no obligation to even reply you or answer your questions bt I know what I saw and u dnt want to know the amount of people they injured with their gas that some were holding in their bags ....I am not dumb ...I know what I saw. |

Politics / How Police Saved Us From Shiites Protesters Today At Garki Area 2 Abuja by perry2020(f): 3:49pm On Jan 10, 2018 |
It all started around 12 noon, I went to get some things at the area 2 shopping complex and while I was approaching my block we all started hearing noises and loud bangs ... we all initailly didnt know what was happening until they got closer throwing teargas at houses and under the cars shouting allahu akbar I was so scared it was like a war was coming ,they didn't care about people on the streets they kept throwing their things around running up and down, kids in their houses were screaming for help. For the first time in my life I understood what war was about and felt pity fpr those in war areas and even those been attacked by the fulani herdsmen ...today was the first day since have been a nigerian got to appreciate the Nigerian police force ,they were so swift ,they came in their armed vehicles, teargas to scare them away even doe most of them ran away ,I used to think it was only NYPDd and SWAT that had skills and formation until i saw the police do their thing, Without those policemen I dnt even want to imagine where I would have been by now coz it all happened right in front of my house .., Its only disappointing that we judge without hearing people's side of the story ,I honestly hope the media doesn't create war by themselves due to false info ,Immediately it happened I took some pictures and videos bt my netwrk wasnt friendly ,I was so disappointed to see this and peoples comment cox this is all not true,I witnessed it from start to finsih it was when the shiite guys were trying to hurt people and burn cars the police intervained https://www.nairaland.com/4281342/police-attack-protesting-shiite-members .,,, https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=1rHWxHZKlk-mkxmkLQDZ7pzHQlllhKZVL link to live videos I hope this gets to front page so people can see the truth. Please let's make peace not war, there are better ways to go about settling disputes other than putting people's lives and properties in danher. We are one Nigeria .. 3 Likes 1 Share |

SalamRushdie: They were not harmless ..,,I tried posting about it when it happened this happened right in front of my house ,the protesters were the ones throwing teargas first ....they were scaring the neighbourhood, throwing teargas and shouting alhakubard... I wish thsee things are better said than the media just made it look ...for the first time I was proud of the Nigerian police 1 Like 1 Share |

ProfGday: 1) it's not a mgt that does these things ,the letter is usually addressed by the secretary to the boArd(CDFIPB) 2) ref number cannot be nis 3) if indeed this is genuine yes you would be posted to your state of origin for induction bt how come u dnt know your state of origin command since that's where you did your screening ,and if that's not ur state of origin then I wonder why your posted there because the last time they had selected people after the screening they were asked to come to the training school to get their apl and posting order and they moved to abuja fpr the sharing of the apl. So I wonder why they would ask u to come to Adamawa which isn't ur state of origin ,isn't the nis headqurts and isn't a training school . 4) If u were selected for screening then in the mail u got the first time u should see the list of all 36 state commands. 5) the first mail is usually a congratulatory one stating the cadre you were picked for ,your nis application number ,state of origin etc 6)the website shows the list of those selected before or during the mail dispatching process |
