Finally got my CAS today and booked my appointment today without hassle and got my interview date for next tomorrow in abuja. I wonder who posted here that abuja has entered peak period and interview dates are far, nothing like that as I saw free periods from 12th august upwards. |
kevin222222:I wonder why appointment times are this far for abuja, well kelvin I'll advise u to keep ur money until u travel before u can use ur ATM card to withdral at any UK ATM machine. The way I see these CBN rules, it will be difficult to deposit any foreign currency for purpose of transfer. |
drunkenmaster:I am happy someone has witnessed how clueless, uninformed and mannerless ''almost'' all bank staff are. Sometimes I wonder what kind of training they get after employment. |
Hi Timm, I also have the same issue here, my school university of chester said they'll start giving out CAS by mid august, meanwhile the school resumes by September. I wonder for this kind arrangement. Beside I thought this new rule applied to only college students, how come you have to come back to apply for PhD rather than applying from their? Timm: |
Please does anyone know why some UK universities prefer to give out there CAS by mid august while their resumption date is in mid September, bearing in mind the likely delays from embassies. A typical example here is the university of chester. |
There is no explanation giving from them, they just stated it as a likely reason for visa refusal. Although I have red on this platform of people that submitted 2 account statements and were successful. Meanwhile I have sent an e-mail to UK embassy via there website to give me a clarification on that. Hope to update u guys when they respond. |
Please house I need ur advise on this. University of chester where I applied for my Msc required me to submit my bank statement of account as one the requesting documents for them to give my CAS. I submitted 2 personal bank account statements, one is a pounds account and the other is a naira account, but they told me that there is ''a higher risk of visa refusal'' with the 2 statements that I intend to submit at the embassy. Please is this true? |
House I've red about those that determines the percentage of eggs layed by there birds as per the number of birds they have. NO IT IS NOT. A bird lay 2 eggs in 3 days, giving you an average ratio 0.75 per day as minimum. So multiply the number of birds you have by 0.75 then you get an expected MINIMUM production of eggs per day. |
jamp:Well I know when you change feed it always affect birds, I started with animal care feed and there production is superb |
[quote author=jamp post=27755585]Fellow farmers. The cost of getting commercial feed is going up. Can u imagin that top feed layers goes for 2500-2600. This is not good for us in abj considering d fact that jos people are selling cheaper than us. I want to change to a cheaper feed else I will end up working for people.[/quote @ Jamp, why don't you change to animal care feed, that's what I use, though the cost now is about 2150. |
FarmTech:.. Pls inform me, how many crates do you sell as whole sell. Tnx |
FarmTech:Yes there has been 3x increase in less than 1 month, besides you sell ur create for N600, is that they are small eggs or that competition brought the price down? In abuja here normal size egg sells for N700. |
Farmtech pls I want to know if u buy commercial feed or u locally produce ur feeds? If commercial, how do u cope with the price of feed and the quantity they consume in making profit? But if u use local feed how do u get ur mixtures right? |
AAAJI:I really wonder about these increases, besides the market demand for big eggs only make things worse. Nevertheless we'll continue to forge ahead. |
Pls why is animalcare feed price always rising. From N2050 to N2100 as at 1 month ago and now N2140, what is going on? |
Hello house, pls I need suggestions on why few of my birds are not eating well, though I want start them on multivite, what could be the reason. NB they are 22 weeks old black layers. |
FarmTech: ,,Thanks farm tech, I posted the figure to be corrected. Thanks for your advice, I'll do just that. |
ThankGod my birds started laying today at 19 weeks. Its a joy to see all your labor not wasted. Though I'm still giving them grower feed, I'll wait till they reach 25% production b/4 I start them with layer feed.
|
jamp: in my case I used topfeed from day 1 till they started laying, I changed their feed to animal care n the production dropped.Well mine hasn't started laying yet, but I got disappointed when there animal care feed finished and I couldn't get a replacement anywhere, so I had to change to amoo product which I believe there supply will be more steady, besides my birds didn't show any change in behaviour, I just hope it goes well with them. |
Pls house, can someone tell why it is not advisable to change chicken feed from one producer/manufacturer to another one, after all they are the same mash or pellet as the case may be. |
safex101: My Brown birds are 18weeks 2days and just one bird laying since they were 15weeks old, none other is yet to pick up, what might be the cause?I think you should be more patient for up to 20 weeks to get a better result. Its still not late to start producing, good luck. |
sleekman: What did u give ur birds dat eliminated d cough? This is a learning forum even vet doctors no dey know finish.@sleekman, you are right. I gave them interseryl which they got resistant to and decided not to give any other drug but observe them. |
Thanks agrotConsult and jamp for your prompt response, but I decided to observe them and noticed that there cough reduce very much and in some totally gone without any further medication, though still observing. Thanks |
Hello house, my layer birds are coughing and I didn't see tylosin to buy for there treatment, pls what other effective drug should I buy? |
safex101: My birds are few days shy of 15 weeks, one or two already dropping egg, is it not too early? everything alright?Safex101 I don't think they started too early, mine are 13 weeks now, when I bought them as doc I noticed some were bigger than others which mean they may not all be the same age and as such likely differ in production time. Congrats all the same and good luck. |
hoskeymani: Thanks to u all for ur useful contributions to this educative & informative thread.........Please I would like to venture into Comercial layers farming. I seriously need mentoring because I know it requires guidance, assistance & experince. I reside within Enugu State. Please, can anyone render help to me ?The better way to start is to visit farms closer to you, ask questions and take measurements of structure to the capacity you can bear. Besides insure you are well boxed-up with money before you hit the race. Kudos |
FarmTech: So all our discussions so far has been lost? What a pity!At least we should thankGod we are back on discussions and hope to make up for lost supportive ideas. How are are or birds doing? |
