Emusan:What is a glorified body? Does anyone else possess this glorified body, or is it unique to Jesus alone? Emusan:Regarding God's plan from the beginning: His original intention was not for humans to die. What kind of nature did Adam possess when God planned for them to live eternally? And what happened to that nature, resulting in the eventual reality of death? |
Emusan:What kind of body did Jesus possess? The key idea I want to convey is that while God is immortal and eternal, Jesus, in his earthly existence, was a mortal being. |
MaxInDHouse:You agreed with me here, right? I'm still surprised by the argument that it's only Jesus' human nature (or flesh) that died, while his spirit did not, as if a spirit can actually die. Jesus is mortal, claiming otherwise because his spirit didn’t die suggests that we, too, should be considered immortal. After all, if the spirit's survival makes someone immortal, the same would apply to all of us, as the spirit is believed to be eternal in many teachings. |
Emusan:As human beings, our bodies die, but our spirits continue to live on. How does this differ from what happened to Jesus? |
Dtruthspeaker:I firmly believe that without the guidance of church teachings or doctrine, no one can read the Bible independently and conclude that it explicitly states Jesus Christ is God or equal to God. Just the other day, I had a conversation with my cousin that highlighted this point. I asked her, "Is Jesus God?" She confidently replied, "No." Then I followed up, "Do you believe in the Trinity?" She said, "Yes." So, I asked her to explain her understanding of the Trinity. She responded, "God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit." "Okay," I said, "but what about them?" At this point, she was at a loss for words. I repeated my earlier question, "Is Jesus God?" Once again, she said, "No." Then I asked, "How can you believe in the Trinity without accepting Jesus as God?" Her answer was puzzling: "Because He is not called God." I jokingly told her she was on her way to becoming a Jehovah's Witness, to which she vehemently disagreed. This exchange made me realize something: if you ask ten people to explain the Trinity, you might get eleven different interpretations. It’s a complex doctrine that, without proper theological understanding, can lead to confusion even among Trinity believers. |
Righthussle:I suggest you have my WhatsApp number for easy communication, what do you think? |
Righthussle:Do you mind if we talk about this? There is no where it is written that one we leaves the religion should be killed. I can talk extensively about this if you don't mind. |
MaxInDHouse:The issues arising from this (the language they understood) can lead to significant misunderstandings, particularly when it comes to titles and their implications. For instance, when Jesus is referred to as the "Son of God," this designation often implies his divinity, suggesting that he is equated with God himself. In contrast, when other individuals are referred to as "sons of God," such as in biblical texts, they do not carry the same connotation of divinity. This inconsistency can create confusion about the nature of these titles and their significance. Similarly, many individuals Bible are recognized as prophets and fulfill that role with sincerity and authenticity. However, when it comes to Abraham, who is explicitly called a prophet by God, there seems to be a distinction made. Despite this divine acknowledgment, you say Abraham is not a Prophet. This discrepancy highlights how language can create varying interpretations and implications regarding the status and nature of individuals within the Bible. |
MaxInDHouse:Okay sir. Abraham is not a prophet, na language error. |
MaxInDHouse:I am sorry Jare, You're the only true Christian, but the fake ones acknowledged Abraham as a prophet. MaxInDHouse:That person speaking in Genesis 20 vs 7 is a liar. Simple |
MaxInDHouse:Are they called prophets by the Christians or not? Genesis 20 : 7 Now therefore restore the man his wife; for he is a prophet, and he shall pray for thee, and thou shalt live: and if thou restore her not, know thou that thou shalt surely die, thou, and all that are thine. |
MaxInDHouse:But Abraham and Isaac are prophets according to Christian. |
Righthussle:It's not just a question of if; it's essential to prioritize the needs of your immediate family before addressing the needs of others. For example, if both my extended family and a neighbor require the same kind of assistance, I believe it's important to help my family first, as they are my blood relatives. However, if the neighbor happens to ask for help before my extended family does, I would consider helping the neighbor first in that case. This approach is in line with the Hadith where the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: "Start with yourself and those you are responsible for." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 24, Hadith 91) This emphasizes the importance of ensuring that those closest to you, especially your family, are cared for before extending help to others. Nevertheless: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emphasized the importance of treating neighbors with kindness and respect in many of his teachings. Some of the key sayings (hadiths) related to neighbors include: 1. Kindness to Neighbors: - The Prophet said, *"He is not a believer whose stomach is filled while the neighbor to his side goes hungry."* (Sunan al-Kubra 19049) 2. Good Conduct Towards Neighbors: - He also said, *"The best of companions in the sight of Allah is the one who is best to his companion, and the best of neighbors in the sight of Allah is the one who is best to his neighbor."* (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1944) 3. Warning Against Harm to Neighbors: - The Prophet warned against harming neighbors, saying, *"Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him not harm his neighbor."* (Sahih Bukhari 6018, Sahih Muslim 47) 4. Angel Gabriel's Advice: - In one hadith, the Prophet said, *"Jibreel (Gabriel) kept advising me to treat neighbors kindly and politely so much so that I thought he would order me to make them my heirs."* (Sahih Bukhari 6015) These teachings highlight the high moral standards in Islam regarding the rights and responsibilities toward one's neighbors, advocating for care, respect, and kindness regardless of their religion |
Krismas:The media often plays a role in misrepresenting certain individuals and religious groups, sometimes creating negative perceptions that are not based on truth. In many cases, the narratives shaped by Western media have been misleading, contributing to misunderstandings and fueling biases. This has led to widespread mistrust and a sense of being deceived by those who control the flow of information. It’s essential to critically evaluate the sources of information and question the motives behind certain portrayals to avoid falling into the trap of these skewed perspectives. |
AntiChristian:Okay. I'm a product of both religions too. |
Righthussle:You're welcome. Additionally, it's important to note that this donation is not meant to be given directly to the mosque or the Imam. However, in some cases, people may choose to bring it to the Imam if they are unsure of whom to give it to. This is because the Imam often has a wide-reaching connection with the congregation and is more familiar with those who are in need, making it easier for him to distribute the donation appropriately. Another surprising thing, it can be given to your relatives, like Aunt, Uncle, Siblings, Cousin

Tayorshd87:Are the Prophets I mentioned prophets or not? |
Righthussle:Islam charges 2.5% of your income annually from people who earns above 84gram of 24k gold which is currently around over #1,652,000 If your income falls below the specified threshold, you are not obligated to give Zakat. It is important to verify whether your earnings meet the required minimum (known as Nisab) before considering yourself eligible to pay Zakat. |
Tayorshd87:I’m not suggesting to you that Muhammad is the last Prophet; rather, a quick search on YouTube reveals numerous individuals claiming the title of Prophet today. For instance, Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin is currently trending on social media, as we all know (Nafdac Prophet), while Prophet Elijah Ayodele has garnered attention for his accurate predictions of soccer scores or political matters. There’s also Prophet Chukwuemeka Odumeje (the lion himself), known for his entertaining and wrestling style, and in our neighboring country, we have Prophet Uebert Angel, who has made a name for himself as a storyteller and miracle money pioneer. Given these examples, I cannot agree with your assertion that Jesus was the last Prophet. |
This storyteller |
Tayorshd87:Who was the last prophet? |
AntiChristian:Really? Tell me about it |
HedgesTV:One story for Bible to interpret 1000 different messages/points. Wentin concern Lazarus and tithe? |
HedgesTV:Who would not like to be poor like Dangote that doesn't pay tithe? |
CanadaOrBust:I sincerely hope that the power of God's name can instill a sense of awe and effectively drive away evil spirits. I desire to use the name of the Father for casting out and binding these forces, rather than invoking the name of the Son or the Holy Spirit. Do have a wonderful day. |
sweetjohn:When the population reduces to 1000, it's important to remember that there are also around 50,000 to 60,000 Palestinian Christians living in the region. It seems apparent that you hold negative views toward Muslims. However, What are your thoughts and prayers for your fellow Christian brothers and sisters who are enduring hardships alongside others in that part of the world? |
CanadaOrBust:That sounds good, but how can someone like me, who has never directly experienced the divine (I assume you’re referring to the Holy Spirit), trust your conclusions? As you mentioned earlier, the Bible contains contradictions and may have been corrupted. Are we expected to believe your interpretation of matters of faith solely because you claim to have had personal encounters with the divine? |
CanadaOrBust:Do you ever seek knowledge or understanding of faith from sources outside of what is written in the Bible or taught by the Church? |
CanadaOrBust:Apologies if my question was unclear, but do you base your knowledge on the Bible or the Church? |
MaxInDHouse:What a wonderful God! It’s perplexing to think that the peace-loving God has destined Ishmael, the unborn child, and his descendants to be unpeaceful according to your Scripture. How can this be considered goodnews/ blessing for Abraham? Rather than bringing comfort and hope, it raises questions about the nature of divine justice and mercy. If God promises blessings and peace, why would He allow one of Abraham's sons to inherit a legacy of conflict? |
CanadaOrBust:Please answer the questions properly. 1. (a) same (b) distinct entities. 2. (a) co-equal and co-eternal (b) different statuses 3. (a) single will (b) separate wills 4. (a) dependent on another (b) independently of one another You've answered No 3. Single will but separate wills in special period |
Petalss:Can you please answer the 1 - 4 for clarity. CanadaOrBust |
