I sent a mail to dem but no reply since... I got my medical passed update november 27th or thereabout.I initially sent them a mail b4 i got my medical passed update and i was told then that my application was in queue to be attended to....lets b hopeful...

PeteObaz l applied on 20th of Oct, papaer route and i did upfront medical and you know it is only the approval or dispatch mail that anyone who applyied paper route can receive and not update on medicals..

I applied on the 20th too.. But online... Av u sent a mail to the accra visa office?...its over two months now

@ kol1234 which departments? & @ peteobaz, U will have to get a supervisor first in Mechanical Engineering Department prior to your submission of your application for admission, fall 2015 application deadline was early this month, so u might be considering other intake

I just received an offer letter from UAlberta now with financial support of 22,000 dolllars. and I have I have applied for study permit/Temporary resident visa from an offer letter from MUN worth 15,500. Please what Shd I do? should i wait for the result of my application with MUN or I withdraw my application. Pls house I need advice here

Yes research based. I had a first class in Mining/ Mineral Engineering. No much work experience, I work as a graduate assistant in one of the federal universities. Though I wasnt given any funding as all funding has been assigned , I knew the admission was over sure as I had a good rapport with my supervisor. In one of his mail he even reminded me of the deadline..lol. so I guess you should contact pontential supervisors much earlier. Once he is interested in taking you it doesnt matter if you dint have a first class n all

My dear, I never even apply sef, but I have been jackin cic website, vfs website and canadianinternational website since 2013, that i can almost say i don cram the whole website sef..... . I had plans to use PFL before, but since I discovered this forum, I have changed my mind.

My resumption is for September 2015 and I want to apply in May...I am currently gathering all necessary documents, even the VO go know say person apply I will so fire them with documents, that they will not even think twice and possibly give me my TRV in 2 days plus I also plan to do my medicals before I apply and upload with my application(the instruction on how to do this is on their website)

I hear you oooo...Well it depends on the type of position u want in the company sha...for some people that have gone far in their career here in Naija, I am sure such people will not want anything less than a kind of Job and positon that Masters degree in Canada can fetch you.

Not decided ke? Why will i leave Uni Winnipeg that offered scholarship and RA job and go for any of the other schools that I have to pay full tuition and no RA job?

Thank God I applied to more than one school. It gave me options to choose from. I did U ottawa and Carleton first and when there was no funding, I tried U Manitoba and U Winnipeg. Thank God I was patient enough, because U Winnipeg came last and it was the best of them all

So u applied for research based programs in all and got accepted in all without having to get a supervisor?..Did u specify areas of research interest in your applications pls?

1) pocket ur CGPA, there are so many peeps with 4.999
2) market ur 4.777 to beat the guys with 4.999 and the smarter ones with 4.49
3) apply to a mix of top rated n lower ranked... Saw Mcgill or Toronto and Saskatchewan or Manitoba or Calgary...

U just said i shuld pocket my CGPA..den u saying i shuld market it...self contradictory dnt u tink...i understand wat u mean tho..and yes im applyin to a mix of top nd average schools dats why i included waterloo and dalhousie uni.

You av got a good cgpa and you stand a chance of being admitted. Mind u both Uni of Toronto nd McGill are top-ranked schools in Canada and in World, admission is always stiffly competitive in those schools. All u need is jst to package ur application well, u could even be offered funding if u ar going for a research based course. Goodluck

Your registrar would write an English Proficiency letter to your school informing them you were thought in English Language throughout your undergrad days and you are proficient in speaking too

so is it an online letter?..wuld d registrar send it directly by himself?

I applied to MUN in November and was granted admission exactly 1 month after in December. As for proof of english, i got my uni registrar to write to MUN stating that language of instruction in my uni is english...that sufficed

Oga, securing a guaranteed suervisor makes life a lot easier. Once I secured a PhD supervisor, I got an admission 2 days after applying to Uni of Regina. Its that easy.
