I was idle having just finished an exam and felt like following proceedings in the All Africa Games.
I searched, searched and searched, yet couldn't find any official website for the ongoing game. I also learnt from a sports program on TV two days back that there is also no official medals table for the game. This is very shameful.
Please when are we going to get it right on this continent?

Nigeria sprint sensation Blessing Okagbare has finally bowed to pressure to represent the country at the Brazzaville 2015 All Africa Games in Congo. The athletics events of the Games begin on Sunday and the national squad departed Abuja for the East African country on Thursday. Nigerian athletics was plunged into a major controversy on Wednesday after the Athletic Federation of Nigeria denied the reports that the National Sport Commission had banned the multi- talented United States-based runner from the Rio 2016 Olympics. The reports claimed the NSC had decided to omit the Commonwealth Games women’s 100m record holder from the Rio 2016 national athletics squad after the 26-year-old opted out of the 200m event of the IAAF World Athletics Championships in Beijing, China last month – and the All Africa Games. Nigeria Professional Football League side FC Ifeanyi Ubah are in talks with Barclays Premier League team West Ham over a potential partnership deal. According to SuperSport, the two clubs are nearing an agreement over the deal, which is expected to be closed before the end of the month. Ifeanyi Ubah, the owner of the NPFL along with the chairman of the club, Chukwuma Ubah, were among the contingent of club officials that met with West Ham officials in London over a two-day meeting period last week. Ifeanyi Ubah club officials conducted an official presentation to West Ham managing director Angus Kinner, who in turn put forward his ideas towards a possible proposal. The deal will make possible an exchange of training programmes between the clubs as well as player scouting arrangements. It will also help to advance youth player development strategies and train some up-and-coming coaches in Africa.

Guinea international Mathias Pogba has finally signed a one-year contract with Scottish side Partick Thistle, with the option to extend by a further year. The 24-year-old striker, older brother of Juventus midfielder Paul, grew up in Paris and was part of the Celta Vigo youth system before joining Quimper. He moved to Wrexham in the National Conference in August 2010 and after two seasons there transferred to Crewe. I agree with that only three teams have won the league in the last decade...what about the league cups?....Swansea,Wigan,Tottenham,Porthmouth,...even Birmingham....have won it......and they are all average teams.....while in Laliga, we all know the race is always between Madrid and Barca..Athletico Madrid are just showing up....

why wouldn't i compare yaya to modric, is he better than him or is it because yaya is africa or because modric plays for madrid? or is it number of trophies? yaya toure can do everything on the pitch, i.e, score, assist, free kick defend(he played central defence for barca then and they won treble) and clever passes. to me yaya toure is better than modric. bale can't outshine aguero since you said they don't play same position. you my friend no nothing about football if you are undermining yaya's talent.
