Today Dangote flour closed #11:45k and that's the lowest price since 2018.

Won't be surprise if it goes on full bid tomorrow.

Let me share with all my little knowledge, i hope i will not be called a monkey hunter.

I am not as sophisticated as the TA and FA guys. But what i used to know that there will be a bear is, i went to FT.COM and checked the trend of most stocks in the NSE.

Lets use FBNH as an example, there you can see the 5 to 7 year price movement in a graph and there is something similar in all the years. between November to second week in January there is always a bull. From the second to third week in January the bears appear FBNH normally loses close to 20 to 30% value of the January peak. The bear and the consolidation continues till second week in march then there is a little appreciation of value. till the mark down date. The lowest point is always the mark down date. From march/April the bull will start slowly till mid may where it will peak. From may nothing fantastic will happen till November again where big bull will come.

I checked this trend in several companies they are the same. So expect FBNH to touch N11 or below before rebound. After that is the right time to jump in and plan to exit around may. After may nothing will happen again till November.

All the doubters you can save this and prove me wrong. You can go to ft.com and check what i said, pick any stock you like. I have nothing to loose. But i will be happy if i helped save money for someone.
WHAT IS 'SELL IN MAY AND GO AWAY'?

Sell in May and go away is a well-known trading adage that warns investors to sell their stock holdings in May to avoid a seasonal decline in equity markets. If a trader follows the sell-in-May-and-go-away strategy, the trader sells stock holdings in May and invests again in the equity market in November to avoid the typically volatile May to October period. Some investors find this strategy more rewarding than staying in the equity markets throughout the year.

BREAKING DOWN 'Sell In May And Go Away'

This strategy is based on the historical under performance of some stocks in the six-month period commencing in May and ending in October compared to the six-month period from November to April.

Origination of the Phrase "Sell in May and Go Away"

The phrase sell in May and go away is thought to originate from an old English saying, "Sell in May and go away, and come on back on St. Leger's Day." This phrase refers to a custom of aristocrats, merchants and bankers who would leave the city of London and escape to the country during the hot summer months. St. Leger's Day refers to the St. Leger's Stakes, a thoroughbred horse race held in mid-September and the last leg of the British Triple Crown.

American traders who are likely to spend more time on vacation between Memorial Day and Labor Day mimic this trend and have adopted the phrase as an investing adage. Before 201, stock market patterns have supported the theory behind the strategy.

Do the Markets Drop in May?
From 1950 to around 2013, the Dow Jones Industrial Average has had an average return of only 0.3% during the May to October period compared with an average gain of 7.5% during the November to April period, according to Forbes. While the exact reasons for this seasonal trading pattern were not known, lower trading volumes due to the summer vacation months and increased investment flows during the winter months were cited as contributory reasons for the discrepancy in performance between the May to October and the November to April periods.

However, recent evidence from Investor's Business Daily shows that this seasonal pattern may not be the case anymore. According to Investor's Business Daily, If an investor had sold stock in May 2016, they would have missed some lucrative runs. The NASDAQ ended April 2016 at 4775.36; it closed higher in May and soared in late June. The NASDAQ rose by 55% from the end of June 2016 until the end of January 2018.

Alternatives to Sell in May and Go Away
Instead of selling in May, some analysts recommend rotation. This means that investors would not cash out their investments but would instead vary their portfolios and focus on products that may be less affected by the overall slow growth in the markets during the summer and early fall, such as technology or health.

Any bank which fails to publish its annual account 12 months after the financial year end will have its chief executive sacked, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has directed.

“It will also include suspension of the foreign exchange dealership licence of the bank and its name sent to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (in the case of a public quoted company) and removal of the Chairman and Managing Director/CEO from office if the accounts remain unpublished for 12 months after the end of the bank’s financial year,” the report said.

The CBN said it will continue to enforce the stipulated penalties for noncompliance with regulatory guidelines, as well as the provisions of the CBN Act 2007 and the BOFI Act 1991 (as amended), in the 2018/2019 fiscal years. “Any financial institution that fails to comply with extant guidelines and other directives that may be issued by the CBN will be sanctioned accordingly,” the CBN said.

In the investment world, Competency as a measure of Performance is a much better guage to growth.
A good growth rate begins and holds sway with the foundation of a good performance if surrounded by competence. ...for thats what makes for a great efficiency and a valuable ROI.
...It does not necessarily have to be sustainable.

Ask urself; How many coys make for a sustainable growth especially in the 'NSE room' ?
but that's all in the past now. ...I already agreed to the point raised then while putting out my view ealier.
For us the most important thing is to reap gains while residing in the 'NSE room'.
...and with DF and DS, I see nothing but juicy gains/ROI and even more return. wink cheesy
Enough said.

Cheers.

NSE is highly manipulated. The support is what the manipulators(mm) say it is. Me think they will not let it go lower than 1.65
STOCK TRADING doesnt work that way. the 12% profit you made from NSE within 2wks is equivalent to NTB interest rate for 364days tenor that's a whooping (52wks)

So first and foremost give yourself a TREAT and take TIME to STRATAGISE else you are bound to lose that profit and part of your capital because the MARKET is UNFORGIVING.

NSE the more you look the less you see shocked.

Yesterday I placed some of my ETI for sell @#20:40, 50000units to be precise and my trade was the first order at that price.

Later on about 28000units was filled suddenly a 20000units order @ d same #20:40 came from nowhere and overtook mine.

I thought trade orders are executed on first come first serve basis huh
