No wonder i have been having migraine of recent times when i browse NL, i reduced my visits and the migraines left. . . .no kidding

Any attempt to increase your NL visit on pc may even give you a permanent migraine. If any nairlander is using a medicated eye lens at the age of below 30, regular nairaland visit on pc should be the cause O_o . It kills the eyes and brain cells without you noticing it. Trying to get use to it is suicide because if you succeed, your pupil and iris will be fading away comfortably~ ~¡

Oh lord... I hate seeing this kind of news! Firstly, ensure you still have access to your web control panel and contact the host of the site to help fix it. It may be a problem from the host.. You suppose to explain better by posting the screen shot of the hacked site.

Hmm I even wonder how you guys use nairaland on pc. I almost got my eyes blind the last time I did .Change your default browser to Moxilla firefox.. It is less prone to error messages. Safari,chrome and flock browsers are silly with nairaland..¡ ~

I hate seeing some nairlanders claiming "I too know" and "Holy HoLy" in this forum. All some guys do most especially in this section is look for who to condemn or look for a thread to condemn when some brains are busy doing a better job!

... Yeah having a PM here on nairaland would have been better but I think why email was chosen is because of scam and spam. So that all spam and scam will get directed to our emails. And the plan is really working well. My email was bombarded with spam & irrelevant nairaland updates until I withdrew my real email from nairaland and replaced with an irrelevant one. If nairaland had a Pm, the only message you would receive daily is SPAM/scam. Just searching for another forum where there is better privacy in private chatting but can't find any because nairaland is already on top. Some guys are busy presently recording all nairaland deficiencies and hoping to pounce and exploit on it someday when the right time comes. Naijapals & nigerianbestforum are not smilling. Operation overtake nairaland lol but can never be like nairaland!

I don't really understand that your hacking or theme you trying to bring out but it is all good. Hacking the whole nairaland is a bad idea though lol but hacking just a single section will be cool .e.g www.nairaland.com/romance. Am not too grounded on how to prevent from being hacked but very cooked on hacking, I have nearly if not the whole hard to find hacking tools but my unaccessability to fast, stable and constant internet access on my pc is the problem! They are restricting us from all those in my school!

Firstly, you must cultivate passion for it because it may really be boring at the starting point. You must be ready to resist any temptation of abandoning it when you feel bored about everything maybe because you feel it's too difficult to learn. It will get to a point when you start asking yourself "Am I not really wasting my time on this web designing crab? I can't do it!. It is too difficult" .

Secondly, learning coding is almost the most important part. Read any available code that comes way but never forget the fact that the best way to learn coding is to code. Your notepad++ at this point should be your favourite friend & pc programme. During coding you will learn some other things you never wish you could ever learn. Learn how to use your type/code without looking at the keyboard.

It will even interest more that you can actually set up a well designed website without learning any single coding. Some websites you see, the owners don't even know what HTML or CSS is. But that one is not advisable. As a site owner, you should know what you are doing so that you can make any desired change of your choice and solove any occurring problem. So you have to learn.. Asking anyone to help you design a site may be fatal because your website will die the very moment the web designer dies.

Learn coding first. Start with HTML @ www.w3schools.com

Or www.tutorialspoint.com( recommended! Download the HTML .pdf file/ebook and practise it virtually on your pc.
