See mumu talk.. FC Porto is a big club in Europe. A team that knocked out the Almighty Juventus. This is pure demotion by far. Well,
he has his own reasons sha because if Ighalo can get a deal in the mid east, I don't see how Musa cannot get something better
PROPHETmichael:
That's nice! Pepe played at the top level for Real Madrid but today he's back home in Portugal playing for his boyhood club Fc Porto.

Business / Re: Over N400k Got Debited From My Stanbic IBTC Account Overnight (Pics) by petrusson(m): 9:01pm On Mar 29, 2020
Bro, I think your money is gone. From the information on the account statement you sent, the details of your payment card was used outside the country (Mexico or Spain) and they were POS purchases outside the country.
It's either you exposed your payment card details or it's a "bank job" or maybe you happen to be a victim of one of the badass hackers in the world.
The bank won't be able to do much. I work with an online payment organization and whenever I see cases like this, I just pity for the victims

Those that have OND certificates.
Sandieeee:

but they said those "who meet the profile "
don't really understand that though.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: UBA Aptitude Test: What To Expect? by petrusson(m): 10:41pm On Apr 10, 2019
Soonest in Nigeria means go and start looking for another job. I heard they are taking only those with OND. They should have just said so from the beginning. Those guys need extremely cheap labor. Don't hope on these guys o I dey beg you.
Tyty11:
Is it that those who supposedly meet the profile will start interview process again?? Or straight to training!!!

This there soonest ehn!!! The last time they said soonest, we all saw the result.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: UBA Aptitude Test: What To Expect? by petrusson(m): 5:27pm On Apr 05, 2019
Hmm... Let me ask sha. I think the new minimum wage stuff also affected their recruitment but I expected more from them. Whenever I hear UBA now this is the only thing that comes to my mind

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: UBA Aptitude Test: What To Expect? by petrusson(m): 1:24pm On Mar 30, 2019
I don't understand these people. Why are they still calling people for aptitude test and interview if they cannot continue with the once they have for training school? This is madness o. We are running mad in this country o. Just imagine.
Sandieeee:
I just spoke to our HR here in Enugu that mail isn't an error, they just can't continue with us . no reason for that. so if you were invited previously for banking school and got the regret mail please start applying elsewhere.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: UBA Aptitude Test: What To Expect? by petrusson(m): 10:26pm On Mar 29, 2019
Abeg if you reach their office on Monday just help us confirm wetin dey happen abeg. The year is still fresh for me to swear for any organization.

Where did you do your interview?
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: UBA Aptitude Test: What To Expect? by petrusson(m): 9:31pm On Mar 29, 2019
Please o... I have been thinking since I got the mail. Let them kindly use their head. I was like "How will you be sending regret mails to those that have done medicals when you are still recruiting?"
To get a job in Nigeria is getting tougher everyday
calmnquiet:

Bro, it's disturbing me also, but I have to be positive. My guy that works there said I shouldnt be worried, he himself got a mail like that before he was invited for training school.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: UBA Aptitude Test: What To Expect? by petrusson(m): 9:02pm On Mar 29, 2019
That's my point. They did not send it to everyone. Some people that I know did not receive the mail and that is what's disturbing me. If it was a general mail then I will understand what they want to do but this one doesn't even look like error at all. I called one of the Academy staff (the one that gave me hope) and she said the mail is not from her department and she has no knowledge about it but I have this feeling that she is aware of it. I just thanked her for time and service like any other bank worker jare. I will prepare for the worst but still pray for the best
calmnquiet:

Bro, I believe it's a mistake
It has to be.

Spoke to a UBA staff, and he said they'll sometimes send such mail to all applicants, then send another to those selected
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: UBA Aptitude Test: What To Expect? by petrusson(m): 8:44pm On Mar 29, 2019
I doubt o. I know like 3 people that did not get the mail. I was shocked when I got the mail. They spelt my full name and arranged it in the correct order. Omo this thing is not right na. After waiting for close to 2 months for the program only to receive regret mail. And the funny thing is that they are still recruiting.
Sandieeee:

I think all of us who were previously invited for banking school got the mail. might be an error.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: UBA Aptitude Test: What To Expect? by petrusson(m): 4:12pm On Mar 29, 2019
Something like this:

Dear Aminu Yakubu,

Reference your application for employment and our subsequent meetings regarding same, we write to inform you that on this occasion, we are unable to progress your application any further. We have however retained your details and will not hesitate to contact you should the right opportunity arise.

Did anyone receive any mail titled "APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT IN UBA PLC" today (Friday, 29th of March)?

Correct..
Churock:

Yes. Location u used when registering/filling of forms, then available position/course(degree).

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: UBA Aptitude Test: What To Expect? by petrusson(m): 4:10pm On Mar 25, 2019
Hmm... This your info is not totally true. Have you not heard of GRADUATE Internship? I know so many people that are doing either GT or Internship. Even the class of degree falls down to what the company wants. I think the major difference is the duration of employment
Fremaxx:
Good question. The three are different. Internship is for undergraduate students without certificate or NYSC or for ND graduate looking for internship in finance line. Entry level is most time admin work/customer service line, it requires less qualification like HND or Bsc with 2:2 min. Graduate trainee is the lowest executive cadre requiring more technical and logical skillset, min requirement is BSC 2:1. As you can see the hierarchy, that's how they pay well. Employers pay graduate trainee more than entry level and entry level more then interns. Interns sometimes don't get paid as voluntary service. And there is another which is junior staff like cleaners, drivers requirement is just waec result. I hope this helps
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: UBA Aptitude Test: What To Expect? by petrusson(m): 3:48pm On Mar 25, 2019
I believe the essential difference is that graduate trainee programmes are intended for permanent employees while internships are (Sometimes) temporary. Newly recruited employees (Entry level) participate in graduate trainee programmes in some organization with the expectation of having and in preparation for long-term employment. Sometimes interns do gain long-term employment but this is not implied when they are engaged, maybe after the program.
slimbless:
Please can someone differentiate between Entry level internship and graduate trainee.
Thanks
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: UBA Aptitude Test: What To Expect? by petrusson(m): 1:12pm On Mar 24, 2019
Go with your print out or you can just show them the mail on your phone. Also remember to go with the original copy of the documents required.
For the pre chat, just know the basic things about the Bank (the services they render, the year it was found, their mergers and acquisition, some of the countries they operate in Africa and outside Africa and some of their achievement. Know the names of the Board Chairman and MD/CEO of the UBA..(Very Important))
munalight:

Please, was there pre-chat? If yes, what questions were you asked? Must I go with the printout of my invite?

Yes. The number on the mail sent.

Which of the Academy Staff did you contact, it's it the one in the first invitation mail sent to us?
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: UBA Aptitude Test: What To Expect? by petrusson(m): 3:11pm On Mar 19, 2019
A friend of mine told me of someone that is in training. That was last week sha but he said when he tried to ask the lady about the program she refused to respond.
What I know is that I'm supposed to be among the next set of guys going for the training and the Academy Staff that I contacted said they haven't forgotten me so I believe I/we will hear from them before 1st of April (when I think the training will start)
