### A Gift to the Future: Ogbona Town Celebrates New School Hall and Sports Complex In a joyous celebration, the entire community of Ogbona town in the Avianwhu clan of Etsako Central Local Government Area, Edo State, witnessed the commissioning and unveiling of an ultra-modern hall and outdoor sports complex at Ogbona Community Secondary School. The magnificent edifice was generously constructed by Peter Omoh Dunia, also known as Peter Black, the Executive Director of Inter-Atlas Synergy Ltd (IASL). In a touching tribute, Dunia renamed the hall in honor of the late Ibrahim Lamorde, the former EFCC chairman who passed away on May 25th, 2024, in Egypt. The event was graced by an array of notable attendees, including students from the community secondary school, Bishop of Auchi Catholic Diocese Dr. G.G. Dunia, members of the clergy, the state deputy governor, staff from Inter-Atlas Synergy Ltd, Peter Omoh Dunia himself, the Oghie Avhianwu of Avianwhu clan, elders, community members, and numerous well-wishers. The occasion was enriched with vibrant traditional dance performances and other forms of entertainment. In his remarkable speech, Peter Omoh Dunia emphasized the importance of education and community development. He spoke passionately about his vision for the youth of Ogbona and how the new facilities would provide them with opportunities to excel both academically and athletically. "This hall and sports complex are not just buildings; they are symbols of hope and a brighter future for our children. It is my earnest desire that these facilities will inspire the students of Ogbona Community Secondary School to reach greater heights. Let this be a place where dreams are nurtured, talents are discovered, and leaders of tomorrow are made," Dunia stated. The climax of the occasion was marked by heartfelt prayers, invoking blessings for the continued progress of the community and the successful utilization of the new facilities. The event left an indelible mark on all who attended, fostering a renewed sense of unity and optimism within Ogbona town. Peter S.A...B.engr

I met this girl last year during my NYSC program. We are both currently living together and planning to get married any moment from now. She is hardworking, loving , caring and stubborn like every average Nigeria girl. She bluntly refuses to attend same Catholic Church with me. She vows to do the Same even when we get married. Should I leave her for this same reason and find a lady in my Church or someone else who will tolerate and accept my faith? |
Is love truly blind ? |
god of men |
What could be the cause ? My right eyelid has been moving uncontrollably for some weeks now? |
I am just imagining this because my best friend left for Austria last week. He put his newly married wife under my care |
This night.. She told me she can't sleep over after eating my food.. This is not the third time she is doing it. I told her to leave and never to come back |
This is a discussion trend for edo election debate which is currently ongoing |

firstly, it was buyer not responding. at some point , he claimed he has not seen a buyer for the card. immediately, i verify the e code, i discovered it was redeemed already. i would have let go of this; but this guy has been using this same crook style to rip people of their gift cards. it is proper i reveal his true identity to the general public. more worrisome, is the fact that alot of his fellow scammers in the same group chats are here blindfolly supporting him. same miscreants, told us to settle in private. gift cards can be received as token of gift from friends all over the world. how does my source of receiving the gift warrant him from stealing from me ?people tend to shove their "moral thinking faculty" into the dustbin inother to support their colleague from the same tribe. |

You claimed you couldn't redeem the card and that you gave it to your trusted friend to redeem. Afterwards, you pleaded I should forget about it and that's how the game works. Now you are claiming I gave you a used ecode to redeem. Look at how his fellow Afonja miscreants are all defending this low life thief. Stealing and fraud is in their blood. It really baffles me why his fellow idiots are still supporting him despite the full evidence I shared on the whatsapp group chat. These same idiots told me to go and settle with him privately out of the group chat. Now they are crying because I brought the issue up here in Nairaland. Does a thief have an integrity to defame He will definitely pay back my money even though it takes time to locate him. |
I am currently reading Dan Brown’s Inferno , December 2017. I’m halfway through. I thank Dan so much for all the symbols, people, explanations, and sights he has revealed, which have made my reading this book more meaningful. If Zobrist’s vector virus DOES randomly make 1/3 of people sterile, it is the ideal solution to a very real problem of over-population. I haven’t got to that part yet, but if such a vector virus could be made by real scientists, it could help save all of us without causing loss of life. The problem of overpopulation and lack of resources is very real and very frightening and can happen really quick. However, in 3rd World countries like Nigeria, where people have the LEAST RESOURCES than any other places, we have too many children without the means to raise them. These children lead miserable lives and are often sold to human sex traffickers. Even in the USA, the least educated people often have the most children that they cannot support, so they overburden the taxpayers by getting welfare, food stamps, Medicaid, free ER services, etc. These children go on to be the same as their mothers-no fathers in their situations, welfare, food stamps, Medicaid, and on and on. Very few ever make good and contribute. This is my humble opinion. The problem of overpopulation is REAL. I hope someone comes up with such a vector virus!!! As a Cnristian, I cannot condone abortion, when birth control or the morning after pill is so available. Now I have to read the rest of the book and see what happens. |

#HardReality Will Buhari resign? The best way Buhari can redeem some of the exaggerated preelection image, is to resign as President on health ground, and then make allusion to the fact he is doing it on moral ground based on his integrity. it will give him soft landing from myriad of broken promises, gross hypocrisy and failure of his govt. instantly, he will become another hero of democracy, as the first President to resign honourably when unforseen circumstances prevented him from performing his duties optimally. If he decides to hold on to power, which he is constitutionally entitled to as the number of days he can be out of duty post is unspecified and he has not been declared incapacitated yet, but he will be remembered as Nigeria's most hypocritical President. He will be remembered as a man who repudiated all values he once espoused; one who has done most of the things he criticized in others. Those saying there is no vacuum, are trying to be clever by half. Osinbajo is still taking orders from Abuja house in London. There are still appointees who believe they are too big to take orders from the Acting President and some even take files to London according to reports. Considering the volatility of Nigeria, the Acting President is acting the nice guy and careful not to wield the big stick. What we have now, is a Presidency that is not functioning at installed capacity. There is a vacuum, though like what we saw during the Yaradua saga #My2Cents I wish the President well Harryslim Omoakhia Good Morning
