It will confirm IPOBs narrative on voting in Biafra land. |
I do not think it is Obi Nwakamma that wrote this. If it is, then he might be wanting to rouse a rabble. And he will. |
Samunique:This is exactly what my wife said. |
Channels TV news at 11 am this morning states that the supreme court has nullified APC primaries in Rivers state. |
So what exactly did the supreme court rule on Friday? |
Babalegba:I strongly think you are a fool of the superlative degree. |
Joshmodest:He speaks the truth all the time. |
That pilot in that picture is not a Nigerian. Many of oil workers that have been flying in the offshore and swamp fields know him. He is not Nigerian. |
This news looks fake. It cannot be found on Channels TV site as the OP quoted. |
gssdobi:Are you not ashamed of making such a disgraceful comment. |
Jakumo: Thank you Mr. Rushdie, for cutting through the fog of misinformation that beclouds the thinking of so many internet warriors and armchair aviators who commented on this incident. Speaking of fog, may I add my humble speculation that the pilot in all likelihood became disoriented by the whirlwind of thick dust kicked up by the helicopter's downdraft, and in those critical seconds, misjudged his distance to the ground, sank too fast, and was thus sucked down by his own rotor wash, in the phenomenon known as "Vortex Ring State", which incidentally also caused the crash of a US military Blackhawk helicopter deployed during the special forces raid on the Bin Laden compound in Pakistan some years back.Yes. I think the whirl wind of dust caused the pilot to lose all that he needed at that critical time of landing. So he must have dropped rapidly and that cause a punch in or slant landing. |
BrockSamson:The damaged blades are there for all to see. |
From experience what I think happened is that the chopper landed on soft soil and punched in. It can also be that the chopper load was not balanced so on hitting the soft soil it tilted. This happened when the rotor was still in motion so the rotor hit the ground and split. The force of the rotor hitting the ground together with the punch in caused the over turn or tilting that we see. That is what happened. It was not a crash landing. It was a landing mishap. I am shocked that Caverton made that statement about unusual weather . It is a shame. |
SternProphet:It is owned by the Amanyanabo of Nembe |
Fake news again. |
There is a lot of misinformation going on here. It is just an interim forfeiture. Interim forfeiture means you have to come and challenge it failing which the money will become govt own. The owners of the money can still come and challenge it or show proof why it cannot be forfeited. Meanwhile EFCC has not shown that the money is from crime. Have they ? |
ipobarecriminals:Those that protest are those that feel the pain. |
Stalwert:Court order that has been proved to be forged? |
Another forgery from the Buhari executive. |
BuhariAdvocate:I see that you are the most intelligent and most excellent person in Nigeria. |
IF the ballot paper were to carry Buhari's picture and name, no Igbo will vote for Buhari. |
"""""If you doubt me that the 2019 presidential election is already rigged, you will be convinced when the Cabal moves against the Chief Justice of Nigeria in the coming weeks” - Nnamdi Kanu, Dec 2018. Thank you MCbreeze. |
Personal attacks and insults are the hall marks of clueless people. |
danot1030:Ignorance is when you do not know what you should know and delusion is when you feel that reality is fiction. You fail to know what you ought to know so you become a victim of what you do not like . That is exactly what is happening yo you right now. You feel that this is Buhari but all the facts are pointing to you that he is not so you are deluded. Worst of all is that the shame of him parading as your president is sparking every day around . You have no hiding place. Let you and him face Atiku and the other presidential candidates for a live debate. When that happens you will cover your face again in shame |
danot1030:The worst state of a person is when he begins to tell himself lies. Keep lying to yourself. The facts are starring you in the face. |
The NTA debate has exposed the fact that the man in Aso rock is actually a clone. |
This Jud Leggum is a Nigerian parading as a US journalist. The grammar he writes is not American at all. Fake Fake Fake. |
dayowunmi:But you can display US flag ?? Unu mumu no get boundary. |
Thank you the match fixer. This is a more serious talk than that mumu talk from Festus. |
adem30:Your brain needs a reset. |
[quote author=GoodGovernance post=74My man, if you are a lawyer, it is a pity. This is all I can say. (e) receive complaints about non-compliance with or breach of the provisions of the Code of Conduct or any law in relation thereto, investigate the complaint and, where appropriate, refer such matters to the Code of Conduct Tribunal; The constitution has not exempted the CJN from this provision. Whilst we are not yet talking of removal, the constitution is also clear on how to remove the CJN: 746464]In the the case of Nganjiwa v FRN (2017) LPELR 43391 wherein the Court of Appeal held that a judicial officer who has not been investigated by the National Judicial Council and sanctioned for misconduct cannot be arraigned in any criminal court in Nigeria.'' This judgement of the appeal court can only apply where there are no specific constitutional provisions on a matter. The misconduct in the above case is different from breach of code of conduct ,explicitly and specifically mentioned in the constitution: The constitution is very clear on the powers of the CCB: The Bureau shall have power to: 292. (1) A judicial officer shall not be removed from his office or appointment before his age of retirement except in the following circumstances - (a) in the case of - (i) Chief Justice of Nigeria, President of the Court of Appeal, Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Chief Judge of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Grand Kadi of the Sharia Court of Appeal of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja and President, Customary Court of Appeal of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, by the President acting on an address supported by two-thirds majority of the Senate. (ii) Chief Judge of a State, Grand Kadi of a Sharia Court of Appeal or President of a Customary Court of Appeal of a State, by the Governor acting on an address supported by two-thirds majority of the House of Assembly of the State, Praying that he be so removed for his inability to discharge the functions of his office or appointment (whether arising from infirmity of mind or of body) or for misconduct or contravention of the Code of Conduct; The constitution clearly separated misconduct from breach of code of conduct. Now the supreme court is superior to the appeal court: In the decision of the Supreme Court in Fawehinmi v IGP, the Supreme Court held that every public officer in Nigeria , especially those clothed with executive immunity under section 308 of the Constitution can be investigated, while they enjoy the executive immunity. They may not be prosecuted until they drop the toga of the immunity. Instructivelý, the Court of Appeal’ s judgment has ” overruled ” the decision of the Supreme Court in Fawehinmi v. IGP by holding that serving judicial officers against whom there is corruption allegation cannot be investigated by the EFCC unless they cease to be judicial officers, even when they do not enjoy temporary immunity from prosecution like the heads of the executive branch of government do under section 308 of the Constitution.[/quote]My man. If you are a lawyer, it is a pity. This is all I can say. |
