If a dependent visa comes with a NO WORK error on the vignette instead of RESTRICTED WORK, what it means is you won’t be able to work as a dependent with such vignette as no recruiter will recruit you with such but the good news is that it can be rectified.
What to do!!!
Immediately you land UK, pick up your BRP and send complaints to
http://www.gov.uk/biometric-residence-permits/report-problem
It will take like 3 to 4 weeks for home office to issue a new vignette

Go to church if you are a Christian and vice versa if you are a Muslim. Look for Nigerians in your environment and ask for help. My brother, those saying avoid Nigerians no dey follow u go through all this o. A closed mouth is a closed destiny.

Nigerians here don’t do much compare to other African countries.I was taken to an old granny for accommodation. despite my wife condition and for the fact her tenant are now parking out (Yorubas) she still increased the rent I said no problem later she came up with an excuse that she want to renovate the place. Which I asked the person that took me to her and she said she is not open to take Nigerians again.

Also Ghanaians help a lot, especially those you meet in the church...from my experience they are very very kind. tell people around you your problem you will be surprised what help you can get...

You are right even the place I got now Twas really through the help of a Ghanaian and I can say they have really accommodating much more than we nigerians

Good morning my japa members, my japa journey i most confess has been full of up and down and each time I I feel so Disappointed and discouraged on why did I come here but I can say here is better even though it’s has not been easy. Getting here we had issue of accommodation even up til now me,my wife and the new born baby has stay in a room and manage with an Kenyan woman and paying £700 while we have little access to stuffs cause of too much compliant each time we wanna cook she complains of of bill here and there and so we have to cook once a day despite the fact that my wife is breastfeeding though I will be ungrateful if I did not appreciate the fact that she took us in most especially when the social worker was on us and was about to collect our baby because we were staying at travel Logde before the arrival of the child.The situation got more worse when I discovered the home office has made a mistake in the condition of my brp with the present conditions stating no work no engaging in business and I have reported since last month and notin is forthcoming.
Please anyone that can help as regarding

Has anyone had issue because of that? I'm asking because I've seen some advice against it. Thanks

The implication is visa refusal
If you add the day the money dropped it’s shows you go the money somewhere through a quick means.

Good evening all.
I posted the last time about my two previous visa denials and my plan to apply for a student visa in UK now.
In the last application in August, l had used my regular account for salaries and other sundries. Now for the student visa, the POF I intend to use is in a different account but still in my name.
Do I still present the earlier account as well as the one with the POF.
Of note is that reason for the last refusal was that I didn't explain the money that entered the account.

From my point of view
You have you use an account that shows your name and mostly there people that does pof. So I will advice you use that means. And each time you want to submit your account statement for visa applications do no add the day the money was deposited into your account as the UKVI already has the information of the pof.so if the money was deposited on the 2nd submit the account statement from 3rd and endeavor to run the account as well. Hello House, pls does my wife need to do any text or insurance for her pregnancy before she can fly? She’s will be 5months by December when we will be flying to the uk.

At the airport she’s will do a test called fit to fly so I believe 5month will be ok.The test is purposely for those to there edd.

This has been answered several times on this platform.


It is not unusual for mistakes to be made. It is important that you check your Visa as soon as it is granted for any mistakes and that these are reported to the UKVI immediately to avoid you pay for a replacement.

Which part of the UK are you currently?

Please try letting agents on the streets. They are very flexible In their conditions.
One big tip I will give you is, locate the nearest Nigerian grocery store. Familiarise with them. They will link you to a local agent.
Online agents are too strict.
This was what I did and got a house for a family of 4 within 5 days of arrival in the UK
