New evidence shows military men went to Lekki Tollgate on 20th

A video posted on twitter by Lilinveztor is making the rounds online, in the video which was captured with Snapchat app shows military men in their trucks going to a particular destination which is believed to be Lekki Tollgate.

The video according to the Snapchat timestamp was taken at about 18:26(6:36pm) on 20th of October 2020, while the shooting started at 7pm or after. The Twitter user posted the video on his account on 6:46pm according to twitter timestamp.

Actor Yul Edochie has called for the resignation of President Buhari. He made the call via his Twitter handle on Monday afternoon, October 19.



According to Yul, President Buhari was very vocal during the Goodluck Jonathan administration and called for the resignation of the former President on the basis of poor performance.



He opined that President Buhari has performed worse than Jonathan, therefore he should resign from office.

Bashir Ahmed took to Twitter to deny ever stating in previous years that SARS has been disbanded, but Nigerians were not having it and they released his old tweets.




After the IGP announced that SARS has been dissolved, Nigerian youths refused to discontinue the protests. They pointed out that the same promises were made in previous years yet nothing changed. They then released a list of demands tagged 5for5 and asked the government to meet those demands to show they are serious about ending SARS this time around.

Consequently, Bashir Ahmed, the Personal Assistant on New Media to the Nigerian President, took to Twitter to say that SARS has never been disbanded until October 11, 2020. He added that tweets flying around which he posted in previous years never stated SARS was disbanded.




He wrote: "Tweets from me, from 2017, 18, 19 and 20 on the defunct SARS, the reorganization and overhaul, etc. Please note that SARS has never been disbanded or dissolved by any administration until on October 11, 2020, when President @MBuhari directed IGP to do so."




He added: "What has happened previously is reorganizations of the operational structure and chain of command of the defunct police unit, by various IGPs.   What the Inspector-General announced on October 11, was unprecedented. It was a complete dissolution of SARS. The unit is now defunct.

"There are various false and misleading headlines and social media posts out there saying the SARS has been disbanded multiple time is not true. Thank you!"

Last season, it was predicted that Mercy would win, after Tacha was disqualified, now Laycon is tipped to win.

Is that there is no strong competition between the housemates or their respective fans?

Off course we know not all of the SARS officers are bad, but the good ones don’t protect the integrity of their profession, they are there when their fellow officers are committing atrocities and exhorting money from civilians, killing people extra judiciary, therefore they are part of the crime, they are accomplices.

You wake up on sunny day to pursue your hustle, while on the way, some group of boys cornered you, ask you for your valuables in a commanding voice, strip you of your hard earned money and take off.

In the same way, SARS “rogue” Officers on sighting dreadlocks on you, airpod, iPhone, ripped jeans, designer wears on you, you are tagged a criminal immediately, they pull up in front of you, ask you stupid questions, tell you to unlock your phone, go through your gallery, check your installed apps and at worst they tell you to login your social media accounts.

If you don’t have any suspicious activity or activities that could incriminate you, they will tell you to enter their van, take you to their station and interrogate you, while they are interrogating you, they will beat you up and at the end of the day, they will ask for ₦50,000 for your bail. Whether you have the amount or not, you will have to pay them in order to leave their station.

We have seen cases of extra judicial killings by SARS, just recently a musician stage named as “Sleek” was murdered in broad daylight by officers of SARS in Port Harcourt, he was unarmed, they shot him and left him for dead. We have also heard news of what some rogue SARS officers did and what they are still going to do if we don’t put them in their place.

Big Brother Naija lockdown housemate, Nengi, has said that by the year 1992, when fellow housemate, Ozo, claimed to be born, she was watching World Cup matches.

However, the only World Cup held in 1992 was the Cricket World Cup also known officially as the Benson and Hedges World Cup organised by the International Cricket Council, (ICC) in Australia and New Zealand.

There has been controversy over the real age of the Bayelsa-born housemate. While some believe she is 22 years old as she claims, others say the former model is 27.

None of the above, however, matches her claim of watching a World Cup in 1992 but that was her words during a conversation with a fellow housemate.

She said, “I can’t believe [Ozo] was born in 1992 I was watching the World Cup in 1992.”

Nengi is one of the five housemates still having the hope of winning the N85m grand prize on Sunday.
