space9880: I didn’t say “it tops”… or not. It all depends on individual opinions and final choices. However, the 2015 RX350 is a very reliable car. It’s the final model year for that chassis so I believe all mods would have been included. The NHTSA gives it a safety rating of 9.3/10. Aside speed, I still don’t see where the 2012 ML350 stands a chance with the 2015 RX350. Besides, one shouldn’t consider an SUV and speed in the same thought. But if you want to eat your cake and have it, then look the way of the F-Sport. I chose not to mention the GLK in previous post. It’s just a C-Class wagon, appealing to younger folks who were caught in between the decision to get a sedan or an SUV |

space9880: From your metrics, the ML350 ticks most boxes. However, if you had said the 2015 RX350, I’d have recommended the Lexus. In this case, the ML wins. |

The Lincoln is way behind in all the metrics you indicated for comparison. You must source parts for this car outside Nigeria. The Lincoln didn’t get the best rating for handling or performance. Now this leaves you with the FX35 and the RX350. Both are great cars and reliable as long as you carry out regular maintenance and use genuine fluids and parts. For the metrics, below are my assertions: Performance: FX35 wins Reliability: RX350 wins (slightly more reliable) Handling: FX35 wins Maintenance: RX350 wins. If I’m to add more; Speed: FX35 Prestige: FX35 Easy to fix: RX350 Appeals more to criminals: RX350 Overall, I’ll pick the FX35 over the RX350 because I prefer quality ride, handling, speed, peace of mind, and prestige in a car. I wish you luck in your choice. loveson: 2 Likes |

Papanicolou: No sane person goes to open an account on Nairaland to ask for opinion on how to treat std. If you caught a disease, go see a doctor. Nairaland is not a hospital neither is it a pharmacy. |

Papanicolou: I don’t know what’s wrong with Nairaland mods these days. They just move any topic to front page without doing proper analysis of the poster. An account was created yesterday (29th August 2021) and the poster opened a thread to indirectly solicit money and scam unsuspecting members of the public. Yet, this post made front page. From every indication, one can see that the posts is false. For instance, the 2 words in bold contradict themselves. How will someone low on cash be able to afford hemp? Does it really make any sense? I go soon deactivate my NL account sef |

Afiliatelord: For a Japanese, I can tell you that the interior build including leather, steering, gear knob, sound system and infotainment of the 2008 Infiniti G35X beats those you’ll find in a Lexus ES350 of same year as well as the Acura TL and Mercedes C350 of same year. You definitely didn’t hear well. |

dru23: This has become my custom when those GLK350 guys, ES350, C350 guys want to fool themselves. One guy using a 2005 Corolla S or so wanted to hear the exhaust note of my car. So, I gave him more than that and kept him like 100m at my back then later allowed him to get close enough to at least get a name to remember and research on when he gets home. I don’t even want to mention those guys driving Toyota Sienna or maybe 2008/2009. Well, I’ve only chosen to let the “little children play” while I enjoy my BOSE speakers and 6 CD changers 6 Likes |

dru23:I get your point. The G35 comes with 306hp and the G37 with 330hp. Coming from your particular Nissan to your G25X will definitely affect your driving because of your love for speed. So, I totally get it when you talk about the weight, speed, acceleration and exhaust note. To compensate for this, I suggest you get a G37XS if you can. By the way, all you think you lost in terms of performance on the G25X, you surely have them in beauty, aesthetics and attention. |
Car Talk / Re: The Official Car Comparison/Recommendation Thread by Philadelphia: 12:40pm On Aug 29, 2021 |
kingreign: Absolutely, no one does. You can’t eat your cake and have it. If you want a v6 with a balance of fuel economy, then get e Lexus IS250 or G25X and relax. You can even get an i4 and let us have peace. |

Afiliatelord: What “bad reviews” do you get and from who? The G35/37 continually receive great reviews from users in Canada and US and I’m sure you can guess why? Maintenance culture. If you’re getting reviews from those users in Nigeria that never scan their cars or swim in a pool of water or use Conoil to service their G35/G37, then I have no comment to make. By the way, listen to what kingreign said about fuel economy and parts. I’m loving my G35X daily. |
