Thanks I got you but there are 2006 Nissan G35 V36 though as production date badge as skyline.

Your bone of contention is model year.

I would correct it though not to be confused

The 2006 Nissan 350GT is the Japanese version of the Infiniti G35 in all ramifications. The 2006 Nissan “G35” (which I believe you meant to say 350GT) was in November 2006. I’m sure you know this means it’s a 2007 model year vehicle

There is EX35 and EX37
35 uses VQ35HR 5 speed auto transmission RWD or AWD

37 uses VQ37 engine. With 7spd

The G35 03 to 05 uses VQ35DE 5 spd
G35 06 and 07 uses VQ35HR 5spd
G37 uses VQ37 7 speed transmission

And yes the G35 and EX have a few parts in common as the EX was a crossover variant of the G35 V36, Nissan 370z and skyline for JDM

Aside from the words in bold, every other thing you said has no relevance with my previous mention to you. I still maintain that you check this your statement and the previous one in bold. You’re wrong again even though you’re sounding like you know what you’re saying.
A simple Google search will tell you that both cars you mentioned again are on different chassis and different engine configurations.

Please do a simple Google search before mentioning me.

The model should be okay since it shares parts with the 06/07 G35 with the 5 speed transmission. And the VQ35HR doesn't experience oil issues like the DE.

You may need to check this bold statement of yours because both model years are completely different; different chassis and different engines entirely.

Check engine light is not on but service engine soon is on

Check your petrol cover and see if the o-ring is worn out. You may need to replace is. This is the most basic fix for that SES light

Great car with great power. Shares mechanical and electrical part with the G35 (v36). Body parts may be difficult to get and pricey too. Infact, it’s just the v36 wagon.
My only concern is that the rear seaters will have to deal with poor leg room especially if driver and front passenger are 6+ feet tall.
Family / Late Sylvester Oromoni: Lessons Learnt From His Demise (My Opinion) by Philadelphia: 10:09am On Dec 08, 2021
This is my first comment about the demise of late Master Sylvester Oromoni. It is a sad event but it’s important that people (parents especially) learn from this event to prevent future occurrences or their wards from being victims.

Aside bullying, there are other atrocities being committed in the Nigerian educational institutions from crèche to tertiary institutions. Female children (especially) face sexual molestation and abuses, likewise the males. Sylvester’s death shouldn’t be in vain. Thus, I highlighted 7 take home from his demise.
Other contributions and opinions are welcomed.
Lessons learnt:

1.) Parents, draw closer to your children. Create that atmosphere where they can confide in you & tell you everything. Parenting is not by paying tuition and other fees.

2.) Ask your children & their friends random questions. Use psychology to get them talking about key issues such as sexuality, their peers, morality, social media and even their teachers. Pretend as though you have found something awkward and get them talking.

3.) Visit your children’s school unannounced and make your observations. Ask the low ranking staffs (security men, janitors, nannies and gatemen) some random questions about what goes on in the school. You’ll be surprised to hear what they see. These people see lots than you can imagine and they’re going to answer you in order to be relevant. Sometimes, tip them or make friends with them. You can use them to keep eyes on your kids.

4.) Make friends with some of the key staffs of the school and ask them to keep eyes on your children.

5.) Make friends with some other parents whose children attend same school or class with your kids. Find time to discuss with them about their children too and the school.

6.) Conduct routine evaluations on your children, physically, emotionally, mentally and psychologically. You may need to visit a trained psychologist or a medical practitioner for this.

7.) Trust in the Self-Existing One. His eyes and hands see and reach where yours cannot.

Your OCV valve needs attention. And your Evap system needs to be checked. There's a large leak on the system.
Where is your car located?

I guess you meant PCV valve

Thanks for your response.

The dtc codes are P0455 and P0021

I had my Service Engine Soon light come on yesterday, so I took it to my mech for scanning. The code was P0455 and it showed my petrol tank cap wasn’t properly covered. So, I covered it and the light went off ASAP.
Check if your petrol tank cap is covered properly. If you get to a fuel station, ensure you cover your tank yourself and make sure it clicks well.

For that P0021 code, I’m suspecting your camshaft needs to be serviced or changed. If your camshaft is bad, your car will drag and the check engine light will come on.

Confirm if your check engine light and service engine soon light are on.

Please help with your knowledge. Acura 09 TLX requires Premium Fuel , does it make sense to buy such car in Nigeria bearing there’s no premium fuel in the country
(Modify) (Quote) (Report) (Share)

You can go ahead and buy the car. You won’t have troubles as long as you buy petrol from reputable gas stations like Total, Mobil, AY Shafa, Rain Oil or any other renowned gas stations.
My car requires premium unleaded fuel but I buy only from Total or Mobil and I have never had any issues or need to use Octane boosters.
Drakeskull and Heavenlybang also use cars that require premium unleaded fuels too and they haven’t had any problems either.
I think your worries should be more of body parts for your TLX

Go ahead and buy!

What we use in Nigeria is 'Premium Motor Spirit'.
It's perfect for Acura 09 TLX.

It’s not “perfect” for the Acura. It’s just okay for it.

How do you mean?

PMS is the name of Petrol, however, it doesn’t guarantee that the PMS sold in Nigeria is of a good octane rating as required by the Acura for optimum performance.

Politics / IPOB: Nnamdi Kanu Scheduled For Emergency Hearing Tomorrow; Could Be Released by Philadelphia: 5:54pm On Dec 01, 2021
The detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu is scheduled for an emergency hearing tomorrow (Thursday) that could lead to his release on bail.

SaharaReporters exclusively learnt on Wednesday that the hearing could open the door for Kanu's release on bail.

This was confirmed exclusively to SaharaReporters by the counsel for the Nigerian government in the matter.

It was also learnt from Nigerian government lawyers that the move is in response to the fervent appeals by Igbo leaders for the release of the pro-Biafra agitator.

"Nnamdi Kanu scheduled for an emergency hearing tomorrow that could lead to his release on bail.

"This is in response to Igbo elders' request for his release," one of the sources said on Wednesday.

President Muhammadu Buhari had said on Friday, November 19 that he would consider the unconditional release of the IPOB leader as sought by elder statesmen from the South-East.

Buhari had, however, added that such a request was a difficult option to weigh but assured that he would give it a thought.

Buhari said this while receiving a group under the aegis of Highly Respected Igbo Greats, led by First Republic parliamentarian and Minister of Aviation, Mbazulike Amaechi, at State House, Abuja, earlier in November.

Amaechi, a nonagenarian, had described the situation in the South-East as “painful and pathetic,” lamenting that businesses have collapsed, education crumbling, and fear everywhere.

He had pleaded for a political, rather than military solution, requesting that if Kanu was released to him as the only First Republic Minister still alive, “he (Kanu) would no longer say the things he had been saying,” stressing that he could control him, “not because I have anything to do with them (IPOB), but I am highly respected in Igbo land today."

A Presidential media aide, Femi Adesina, had revealed this in a statement titled, “President Buhari to Igbo Leaders: Your demand for Nnamdi Kanu’s release is heavy. I will consider it.”

However, in his response, Buhari had said, “You’ve made an extremely difficult demand on me as leader of this country. The implication of your request is very serious. In the last six years, since I became President, nobody would say I have confronted or interfered in the work of the Judiciary. God has spared you, and given you a clear head at this age, with very sharp memory. A lot of people half your age are confused already. But the demand you made is heavy. I will consider it."

Stressing his policy of non-interference with the Judiciary, the President said when Kanu jumped bail, got arrested and was brought back to the country, “I said the best thing was to subject him to the system. Let him make his case in court, instead of giving very negative impressions of the country from the outside. I feel it’s even a favour to give him that opportunity.

The IPOB leader is currently standing trial at the Federal High Court, Abuja for terrorism-related charges.

Kanu was illegally arrested in Kenya and renditioned to Nigeria in June.

Politics / Re: Tinubu Is Under Investigation – EFCC Chairman, Bawa by Philadelphia: 9:24am On Nov 25, 2021
Political ploys to exonerate him in advance so he doesn’t have any case of corruption levied against him when he makes public his plans by January 2022 to run for presidency.

When that time comes and anyone raises eyebrow on corruption allegations, same EFCC will come and say “he has been investigated earlier and nothing indicting was found on him”.

Nigeria is finished.

Let someone send a plague to destroy all the Nigerian political elites.

Good afternoon all ogas,

I travel to and fro Ife from Lagos with my newly acquired pathfinder, it was a smooth journey but I used 15k fuel to and fro. Although I was informed before buying the car there were no catalyst In the exhaust.

I priced catalyst and is above 100k which I can't afford now.

Do I have a remedy to catalyst that will save cost, and will it reduce fuel consumption? Pathfinder 2004 model

Thanks in anticipation.
