It is quite surprising that captain marvel cannot beat black panther or infinity wars in pre ticket sales yet these paid media outlets are tagging it as the most anticipated movie of the year.

Aquaman broke pre ticket sales records of infinity wars and black panther without too much noise.

Come on, Capt Marvel will definitely make bank at the box office especially given the way it's being seriously marketed but I don't see it cracking a billion. Maybe 750mil give or take.

Lol, It won't. Marvels has ensured that people are fully aware about this movie. I have a feeling the huge money spent on marketing won't be included in the final budget for this film, same way they did for infinity wars.

I always find it funny when I get mentioned with these type of comments. I don't go round saying it will fail, everybody and their mother know my issue with WB, DCEU and their rushing & executive antics. It's not like I actively root for them to fail, I know not to watch their trailers because they'll hype somebody to death & may leave me wanting when I watch the film. But, they saved themselves with me with WW (I would have simply seeded all their films, if they had effed that up). Aquaman did not suck. It was an entertaining film, pure popcorn film with stunning visuals & cheese, I enjoyed every moment of it, that I've already seen it twice. Jason Momoa looked like he was having the time of his life. Oh and Amber Heard wasn't even remotely overtly sexualised as she usually is in her other films. That kiss though, daaayyyuuumm.

Instead of y'all going round actively seeking trouble with the whole DCEU vs MCU palava - don't even start it with me today, 2 of my WhatsApp groups won't shut up about it during the weekend. You'll be ignored. Oh and to the ones who keep looking for wahala in the MCU thread, give it a rest. Grow the hell up. Remember, there's a reason why I haven't been active on this thread, person don tire with the usual wahala.

Madrid losing today has nothing to do with the improvement of the league...
Sevilla vs Atletico are two teams who are amongst the best in the league so it's not a surprise for Atletico to draw today.

Justice league floped but if it had the opportunity aquaman had it will make 1billion but it didn't.
It also applies to bvs and thor.

Ps never ever compare Thor raganarok to aquaman.

Besides marvel has always been good when it comes to competing at the box office unlike DC who had to move ww2 to 2020 because of star wars.
