Quick update concerning my quest for a software for SRT 494k decoder currently i can access the Bisskey menu with the Software i posted above however this particular software doesn't offer Option link but ended on OTA Menu only so one has to constantly press F8280 to Access Bisskey menu & it doesn't open AFN Network either. So am still searching for SRT494k Decoder Software that can open AFN Network just like Srt 4954H does. Meanwhile SRT494k Decoder picture quality is out of this world particularly when watching Hispasat Channels & all the audio sound working very well unlike srt 4954H. So Gurus pls if anyone here is using SRT494k Decoder to watch AFN Network satellite plsssss indicate the software being used with a link for download 🙏 Thanks.

I don't think the decoder is a multi stream decoder like srt 4954h. So it may not open AFN channels

Go to Google and type lyngsat because it is too cubersome for me. Type lyngsat 28.2e, 42,26e, 16e, 9e and so on

Depending on the smartness of the installer. 3 to 4 satellites can be on a single dish provided their locations are not far from one another. You can use upto 32 satellites on a single decoder

you bought a machine. You can unlock satellite directions the way you like. Only if you get a good installer. But you will need second 60cm dish to enjoy it to the fullest. for fta, no monthly subscription, just thrill. You can get them all

My tired is tired of them. If not for my children, I would have tossed their decoder in the bin years ago. I've considered smart Tv with unlimited Internet but I can't risk them having all that freedom and option of downloading whatever they like.

FTA comes with two packages. Some totally Free while some are partially free needing special decoders to unlock them. Just as we have it in Jeep. Some Jeep don't have auxillary gear. Therefore if both Jeeps enter rough and muddy road, only jeep with auxillary gear Will come out. That is the easiest analogy

data is cheap. Only your taste in FTA will determine how much you will burn in terms of data. Some satellite tv via dish consume less data while IPTV drains your data

get a good installer to be of help. All these channels are still available on 42e. Or you retrack the direction if your signal quality is very low. Please note that they are on different tp on nigcomsat direction

mbc channels are readily available on 26e anyday any time. Just get a good installer to help you out. Or track with 10970v27500 on 26e
