I bought strong SRT 4954 with a dstv dish,
after installation and set up, i got only 33
channels, no sport channel even Grande sport
no signal, meanwhile i saw that one can get
as much as 60 channels or even more on
previous pages.
My dish is facing east ward


how do i get the above mentioned channels?

please am a novice to FTA technology, got an installer to reset my mytv which must have been out of nailed position due to strong breeze that accompanied the rain in past few days but he eventually said he will come back to do it (already evening) but mean while he is leaving me with a TSTV channels. after he left i realized that the TSTV is on Thor 5/6 (0.8W) satellite. am not really seeing other stations that have seen that comes with TSTV in this group such as MBC1, MBC2, MBC3, MBC MAX etc the stations i have on the decoder are movies 1, dubai 1, 2, race 2, DAV, just to mention a few but please guru in the house help me, so that i can also enjoy the remaining channels that comes with TSTV cos have heard so much of it in this group

Ordinary Decoders with no special functions apart from being HD: viewsat, multi tv, digisat and so on. But you can go for viewsat cos it is a bit rugged

Even Mytv no signal.... It's frustrating...

The best solution is to change your decoder. The decoder is having tuner problem which can only be solved with a very vast experience electronic repairer. To avoid wasting money, buy a new one

What is the best current frequency to track Abs 3A and how or where to position my lnb to get it?

To be successful in your hunting, 90cm dish may not work out for this. Tp for abs is 11130h30000 or 11168h30000. Use 1m dish instead. Happy hunting

Possible with 90cm. Track tstv and attach old mytv church direction on top. Happy hunting. But with new mytv direction on 16e, it is very difficult on 90cm even 1m to combine tstv and new mytv

It is advisable to buy 1m dish if you can afford the price in your area cos if its advantage over 90cm when thinking of combining more than one satellite on a single dish especially in southern west. Price of 1m varies from place to place depending on your distance away from alaba international or oshodi in Lagos.
