Good morning guru's in the house, please help a sister, I'm a newbie. My setup lost signal after a windy and rainy night. But I just noticed one satellite is back up. Please what do I adjust outside, dish position or lnb? These are the satellites on my setup from my decoder: Badr 4/5/6, Hotbird, Turksat 42E, Ku_Azerspace 1/A.

Ku_Azerspace1/A has signal quality of 51% presently and the others are 0%.

You might wonder why I didn't call the installer, he said I'll have to pay him 6k if he comes without guarantee that I won't have issues. So with each visit, I'll have to pay 6k. Not in this economy. I better learn it myself.

This is a bit technical. To do it yourself will be highly difficult cos you are newbie in the field. You will need to pay him again and pay a closer look at what he did for you. I have done it before also on old 1m startimes dish. I even attempted last year in my curiosity to have osbc of ses 5e on my 1m dish via c band

The essence of this forum is to equip newbies with all of the requisite tools required to adopt the fta option. It is only when a person is unwilling to go through the adventure of learning and discovering what he /she can do with a little help, that you should offer your services at a reasonable fee. So the primary motive of every comment should be to guide the uninformed, not to peddle our services

The best is to learn from someone else after efforts to nail a satellite. It always save stress. It also aids easy building up on a knowledge. It is not all about rendering services from my own end but offer needed information to satellite ethusiastic individual. I had seen someone who gave his best despite all pictures and video calling to get a satellite and he couldn't hunt the bird down. But one on one practical class gave him a headway. I am not saying it is applicable to all people. But it saves the stress of going through rigorous journey and stress many installers went through before becoming an expertise in the field

Trying to nail ABS 3W with this tp 10972V30000 but I only get 7 s channels and its double the channels 3times making 21channels when am scanning. What could be the ish. Note I got 85% quality.

France 24
Channel 15
NHK world
I24 news etc...

This is not abs 3w channels. It does not have channel 15. Engage a good installer and learn from him. Then build on your knowledge to be able to do more on any other satellites. If you are in Lagos, I am readily available to do it for you

depending on ur size of dish. With 1 meter u will get all tps active. With 90cm only 11095v30000 won't come up others will be active

All tps will pop out on 90cm including multi stream channels if you have the right equipment to do the job.
