The fear of kirikiri is the beginning of political wisdom. |
Texcoco:You guys can't pull the wool over our eyes. Mo Ibrahim award my ass. You think the international community is blind and sentimental like us? You think they don't know how many lives his foot soldiers took on his behalf for him to be returned while he quietly urged them on? For your information they are just praising him now so he can gently pack his baggage on May 29th. President Jonathan is no different from IBB who out of pressure agreed to step aside on Aug 27th 1993. One thing you sycophants shouldn't forget is Nigerians are quick to forgive but their memories are definitely not that short. We hardly forget. |
I have crowd of Igbo friends who support and can die for GMB just because of his integrity and also because they know president Jonathan is a monumental failure. |
freshcvvs:Saw him knocking at Asiwaju Bola Tinubu's gate this morning asking the security man to allow him enter. |
realGURU:Janja-weed Illiterate Buhari will never rule Nigeria! No certificate! Buhari pullover! GEJ till 2019!!! ![]() |
ayomidegambari:Saw him midnight in APC headquarters Abuja clutching an apology letter plus his CV in his armpit. No time. Nigerians are just too sentimental and hypocritical. Reasons why development continue to elude us. We continue to make our leaders feel they are doing us too much good by ruling over us. I just hope this level of sycophancy do not continue with the APC government. |
Mization:I know you have gathered many likes from this. In fact I gave you one for my own reason. But please remember this woman did not do all she did for the love of her husband. Instead she's a power monger who was ready to divorce Jonathan if he refused contesting in this elections. This is the type of woman that will drive the husband to the grave all in a bid to satisfy her quest for power and wealth. The type that will not flick an eyelid if the husband decides to use one of the kids for money rituals. I, surely do not want this kind of a woman as a wife. |
icebeatz:He called for the blood of the dogs and the baboons so jobless goons like you can witness a decent government where you will graduate and get jobs so your God-given brain can function properly. Goodmorning! |
Sweetlemon:Thank you very much. Hypocrisy and sentiments are the bane of Nigerians. I so much believe if Abacha wakes up today and start crying persecution and how much he loved Nigerians, these same people who have been crying blue murder will eulogize him. I am not moved by all this late show of statesmanship. We all know resilient Nigerians and the international community reined him into this latest act. This man was prepared to shed the blood of the last Nigerian to get the second term. How can we forget so soon he singlehandedly took dollars to the southwest Obas for support whilst the kings in his domain wallop in abject poverty? Did I hear him say free and fair elections? With the blood votes from Delta, Rivers and Akwa Ibom states? Gbagbo was a statesman too for agreeing to be physically dragged from government house. Development will continue to elude us until we start calling spades spades and stop allowing our emotions and sentiments rule us. Congratulations to everyone on this forum who in spite of all continue to support the fight for a new Nigeria irrespective of tribe and religion. Most especially those of us who at the risk of being called unprintable names of traitors as "brothers" of the outgoing president but still chose to stand on the side of truth till the end. I hope and pray the fall of Jonathan and PDP from power will serve as deterrent to the incoming occupants of Aso Rock and the NASS. Never again will politicians take Nigerians for granted. If the APC messes up they have just 4 years to see the exit door, Nigerians cannot give another 16 years chance to any political party to gamble with their lives. |
Truckpusher:You are an incurable slowpoke. Grow up and be a man like Amaechi. Traitor my ass. |
naijababe:I am very sure the professor did not write that tweet himself. |
AJOT99:Ok, you were gearing for a war you or any of your family member will never partake in. Shame on you. |
Texcoco:I can bet Asari and Tompolo will go for peace. They have made too much money to want to mess up. i only suspect some new unknown boys will want to spring up but they will be taken care of. |
GEJ till 2019!!! In Otuoke as local government chairman. |
jfxt:Na wao, but why are Nigerians this daft? Even a street 12 year old boy in Malawi is more politically savvy than professors in Nigeria. |
SlimBrawnie:Every small goodwill he would have gathered in this area is being squandered again in these past 3 days. The whole world is watching how him and his party are attempting to scuttle the masses will. That they are not succeeding is owed to the resilience of the people coupled with the big eyes of the international community in Nigeria at the moment. I have never seen anybody as unwise as this president. I kept saying GEJ had no business going into this contest. The goodwill he would have gathered around the world if he had abstained would have been enough to earn him millions of dollars in retirement. But he listened to the dogs of the Niger Delta and his desperate wife who kept threatening and urging him on. Now I feel serious pity on him. |
prof1990:Barcanista has been sending several emissaries to be allowed back into the CHANGE team. We have set up a committee to look into his case bearing in mind how much contribution he made to the team before dollars changed his brain. We have also discovered he decamped based on promise and further investigations revealed he was scammed by Anonimi and Firefire. Country is hard. |
Elections are not won on social media.....I dey laff oooooooooo! Baba will be laughing at Ota farms by now saying look at this small kekere I helped, heediot. |
kristisking:I am sorry but this religious bigot will lead you till 2019. When GEJ has been gallivanting from one church to the other and from one juju priest to the other dividing Nigerians along religious and ethnic lines he is not a religious bigot. Oponu. |
slye:I promise you on this there's nothing they can do. Where is barcanista oooo? From a prince to a slave. Transfer window officially closed on the 27th. The robot tit should be hibernating now. |
Jarus:I must write a full column on Aribisala if GMB wins this election. The bile that man spew on GMB and Tinubu frequently can cause 3rd world war. I suspect the old man will commit suicide if this happens. His family should monitor him closely. |
My greatest joy is Nairaland will be weeded of silly elements that have trolled every political thread for a very long long time. I don't even want to mention the erstwhile reasonable ones that sold off their conscience and soul to the devilish dollars at the dying minutes. All robots will be decommissioned at least by tomorrow. |
philips70:Here they come.....Sai Vanguard, two polling units. Just read GEJ has returned to Aso Rock to pack his last belongings. Presidential Villa: APC defeats PDP on March 28, 2015 / in News 9:34 pm / Comments By Ben Agande, Abuja The All Progressive Congress candidate for the House of Representatives has defeated the Peoples Democratic Candidate at the two polling units located within the precincts of the Presidential Villa. Has Vanguard not reported GEJ lost Aso Rock PU to GMB with 334 and 241? GMB will win Abuja. |
Tuntheycr7:Heard he has instructed Sambo to continue till May 29th if Buhari wins. Otuoke sure pass. |
ibietela2:Iteke, you know say you no get sense? |
ibietela2:Illiterate thug, I did not say "president men" Concentrate on your studies you won't. Olodo. |
ibietela2:Don't be a f00l. Elections are going on freely in the north with large turn out but the president's men are busy disenfranchising people in his buffer zones. As I write this Delta state is experiencing same problems. If you think result sheets will be filled arbitrarily in this election you will be shocked. |
iyaka2344:Trust me it's you doctors should get close to if he loses. The hardship that will befall you and your family if PDP wins again will decline any form of medical intervention. Buhari, as usual will continue his modest life till he gets to his grave. |
Jelo4kul:If you want him to win tell these illiterate hoodlums to stop reducing his chances here in the south. But it will be easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for Jonathan to win this election. |
Wasted and failed stories Mr Shaka Momodu. Face your failed schools. |
