For me, it's five. None is negotiable.

A prospective partner must tick the following five boxes.

She must be:
1. Beautiful: i mean someone I'm really physically attracted to.

2. Industrious and Ambitious

3. Godly and Virtuous

4. Fear and love God passionately:
Someone who loves and fears God will love you too, and not make your life miserable.

5. Above all, the assurance/conviction (from God) that she is meant for me.
Having watched "The Train" movie. I cannot stand the emotional torture that happens when you propose to someone that's meant for someone else, someone that'll later invite me for her wedding.

Dog Lovers, Please I Need Advise On My Rott's Naughty Behavior

I have a one and a half year old Rottweiler named Gift and I don't understand him anymore. We can't chastise him again when he misbehaves because he bares his teeth and growls menacingly at us if we try to spank him for being naughty. He welcomes us when we come home like any loyal, loving pet, but yesterday he shocked me. Usually as we are about to enter the house he playfully holds one foot down so we can't enter, or he jumps on you and hugs you tight so you can't move. When I got back from work yesterday I was exhausted and I didn't have energy for his play so I hugged him briefly but as I entered the house I mistakenly stepped on his right hindpaw.

He howled, left me, and lunged at me, this time to bite me. He actually narrowly missed my arm.

I was mad. I turned and yelled "Gift are you mad?" He bared his fangs and barked at me. Me sef I bared my teeth at him and ordered him to stand down. He growled, me sef I growled back. Do you know this dog kept advancing menacingly at me and barking? I quickly borrowed myself brain and locked the door. Werey dog.

I can't shoo Matilda, my chicken in his presence. He covers her with his body and warns me away. And now, the most perplexing thing is he now marking every where in the compound. My sib came visiting and before he entered the house, he quickly relieved himself outside because he was very pressed. Do you know Gift went to where the dude urinated and peed on top? It has gotten so bad now that Gift entered the house and marked different sections of the corridor and smaller dining area with pee.

Now, I don't know if this is classic Rott behavior or if he is just being indisciplined. I confess we spoilt him a bit because he is such a sweet animal when he is not misbehaving.

How do we discipline a dog that has grown wings? He is well socialised so it's not a case of too much isolation.

How about you get a veterinary Doctor to examine the dog.

BTW, How is Matilda doing now. And what are the names of your other chickens.

iCauseTrouble:
Things learnt from the Covid-19 pandemic
1. Scientists are more important than pastors. We need more doctors than Men of God (MOGs).

2. We live in connected world, what affects China affects Nigeria, Belgium, Ghana etc..... We should be our brothers keeper.

3. The most important thing in life is life itself and the most important people is family.

4. Cooking skill is a survival skill.

5. Health care budget is more important than defense budget.

6. Biological weapons are more potent than military missiles

7. The border should be the human body not country borders. We should stop the virus from getting into man not man from getting into our borders.

8. Many pastors are more concerned about tithes and offering than salvation.

9. A lot of things can wait, church, jumat service, weddings, birthday, board meeting, Hey, etc.

10. African govt need to invest in the basics - education, healthcare, database, electricity, internet, refuse disposal, food, security etc

11. The world has abundant supply of stupid people across borders

12. World power is beyond financial nor military weapons but knowledge based and bioscience.

13. It is not the end of time nor Antichrist rather an avenue to know that there are more hidden facts that are more dangerous than known facts

14. Planning is Paramount as well as savings to the survival of mankind.

I agree with some of these, but that number 6 no follow.

Military weapons are much more potent that Biological ones.

The world is still in existence because of various accords and agreements banning the use of weapons of mass destruction.

The whole world can be wiped off in an hour if such weapons are used.

And all you bunch of Atheist MODs should stop your double standards.

With all respect to Muslims on the thread, if a Christian posts this your comment on say, a Muslim thread, you'll come for his head. Yet you're in haste to post this.

A group of people expressing their view in a civilised way should be the least of your problems.

Finally, if you intend buying an insurance policy in a reputable insurance company, kindly indicate interest or send me a PM.
And you needn't be afraid of being scammed. You'll pay into my company's account BTW, not my personal account.

TRUST:
Finally, in the area of trust, yes, reputable insurance companies still pay claims promptly. I work in one and i can assure you you will be well treated.

Insurance contract is a legal contract, and if you keep your side of the contract, the company has no option but to settle you, as long as your claim/loss is genuine. If they don't, you're free to report such companies to Naicom, or even sue them to court if need be.
Travel / Re: Out Of 12m Vehicles In Nigeria, Only 2.5m Have Genuine Insurance by Philthe1st: 10:18pm On Nov 08, 2019
If you want a cover for these, then you'll need a Comprehensive policy.

A comprehensive motor policy covers:

1. Accidental damage and loss to your own vehicle: by fire, accident, theft...

2. Third party property damage, bodily injury, or death.

3. Personal accident to you (medical expenses) or occupants of your car, up to a limit.
Travel / Re: Out Of 12m Vehicles In Nigeria, Only 2.5m Have Genuine Insurance by Philthe1st: 10:17pm On Nov 08, 2019
Dear reader, never take insurance for granted.

I wonder how people go to pay 1K, 2k.. for fake insurance certificate when you can get a genuine one for 5K. A fake certificate provides you no cover.

It's largely due to

1. ignorance.
2. Trust

IGNORANCE
Many don't know how powerful the third party insurance certificate they have is. I'll just help with a summary here.

Your third party certificate provides you cover on damages caused to a third party. A third party here means anybody you cause damage to while driving as long as that person isn't in your own car...

The third party covers the three losses that can occur to a third party while you drive: these are:

1. Third party property damage: damage to vehicle or any other third party's property.
Limit is a Million Naira for most companies. (Some companies place the limit at 2M).

2. Third party bodily injury:
Injury to a third party while you drive.

Limit: unlimited.

3. Third party death
Death to a third party as a result of your driving.

Limit: unlimited, but reasonable.

Note that the third party is the minimum cover required by law in Nigeria. It doesn't cover your own vehicle, neither does it cover bodily injury to you or occupants of your car.

grin grin No really. I didn't think that was the last stage. That's almost impossible and i wasn't expecting that at all. Besides, Madam Toyin told us successful candidares would be interviewed by May.

The main doubt i had was with they calling everyone left instead of sending mails. Tho that's still possible.

Anyway, let's keep expecting.

No qualms Bro. One love.

Change does happen. I understand. It's just so unexpected that Pwc could recruit without an AC, or call the large no of candidates remaining, if this isnt the last stage.

Let's keep expecting. Wish us success.

You will be called if you are successful and sent a mail of you aren't

Called for what? They'll call the numerous candidates still left in the process? It has never been done that way before.

Methinks they'll just send mails for OPQ or AC. They're still other stages left.
