Truly only God has brought us this far and He is more than able to carry us through.

Hi July mamas! How is the ministry going? Am sure many of us are enjoying this trimester. By April roll call, many of us would have entered our 3rd trimester so let's make good use of this time to do most, if not all of our shopping. I pray God will make provision financially and will continue to make the journey easy for us.

How is our ANC classes? I hope we are enjoying meeting with other preggy mamas there. By now, many of us, if not all most have taken our 2nd TT. It's important we create a reminder for the 3rd TT (6 months after 2nd TT) because most of us will be busy with vigilante stuff by then and its possible we will not remember. I pray God will continue to strengthen us and help us all to carry to term with easy delivery.

How are we copying with our showing bumps? How do we feel about our super active lo's jumping up and down, building castle in our womb? By now, it will be difficult to bend down to do some of our daily routines, many friends and family will want to feel our bump and many of us are already enjoying the grace that comes with showing bumps. I pray all our efforts over our lo's won't be in vain. We shall reap the good fruit of our labour over them.

It's high time we dropped our baby gender so that we can update our team. Please, let's start to supply our baby gender, Team XX for BBG & XY for BBB.
Let's all come out and talk so we can know how we are feeling. Remember, we are free to rant at any point on any matter disturbing us.

In all we do, we should not neglect the place of prayer.

As for us #TeamJuly:-
This pregnancy will not lead to our death IJN.
We shall not bear our child(ren) dead IJN.
Our delivery day shall be a day of rejoicing and congratulations IJN.
The child(ren) in us will not be a source of sorrow to us IJN .
Every organ (spirit, soul and body) in our child(ren) will develop normally IJN.
Our blood and water shall be adequate for delivery and there shall be no loss IJN.
God will grant us the strength we need to carry to term and deliver safely without stress IJN.
So shall it be for us in Jesus name, Amen.

Mama's your sister has not been well ooo. for the past 2weeks now Have been having pains AbI na contraction @21weeks. I don't know wat to call it. Have seen like two doctors and none could Just make it stop. Am just tired. Why wouldn't I have a normal pregnancy like everyone else. Have been placed on bed rest since, got discharged dis morning still resting and d pains still comes and goes, i don't know what else to do. Am just so so tired.

I don't have any other info different from what other mamas have said.
I believe there is nothing prayer can't do so always pray and confess positively. Speak with your lo and all will be well.
You are always in my prayers. There shall be no loss.

I have officially come to register with team July after much procrastination. A FTM who has prayed and waited for this gift for over 10 years. Have been having a kokind of contraction, serious pain around my lower abdomen since three days now, it's not been easy but i know my God is alive. Was placed on some drugs and injections which included salbutamol. I just pray these whole phase pass by

I think you stress yourself too much in preparing for your wedding. Please, the baby's life and yours is more important now than the wedding day. Try and tell friends and family to help you out and give yourself enough time to rest. Drink plenty fluid and nothing less than 3litres of water daily, if possible, measure the water quantity daily and make sure you finish it. Rest, rest and rest as in put yourself on bed rest for about 3 days to a week without any house chores. Our prayers are with you.

Plss oo has anyone started noticing kicks at 19 weeks cuz me i never see any ooo, sometimes i just feel like something is beating fast in my belly like a heart beat, pls mamas did anyone feel that way and what could it be? In all sha we give God thanks.

July mamas are doing great. Am fine too.
Baby movements and kicks can be noticed as early as 14 weeks but for ftm, you may not feel anything till 20 to 22 weeks and it depends on baby position.

I can't say what it is but make sure you rest very well and drink enough water. If it persist, consult your Dr pls.

Mama, you are supposed to take the first dose at 27weeks and the second one at most 72hours after delivery. As it is now, you are about 4weeks late from taking the first dose so I think you should get on with it ASAP.

I went to Victory Pharmacy in Festac yesterday to ask for the price and I was told its N40,200. Why we RH negative women have to suffer for something that is not our fault?

Meanwhile, @Yesitsme and other RH neg mamas, were you asked to do the Indirect Coombs test before taking Rhogam? My doctor is insisting I have to do the test saying there will be no need to take the shot if baby is RH neg too but I don't want stories that touch. I want to take the shots regardless. Abeg make una help me chook mouth o.

Able cappo @phalakkeys how body? All TeamJuly damsels, how the go dey go? I still occasionally wake up to find out that I have been lying on my back for sometime. Is there any long term effects to this? Congrats to all the mamas that have birthed their LOs

@ #TeamJuly how are we all doing? Hope we are enjoying the feeling of our baby movements. I was busy lately and couldn't come online for about 48hrs and am just reading through all the 9pages missed.
Congrats to all new mothers and I wish the remaining February mamas quick delivery. As short as this month is, it seems to be the slowest.
As for every #TeamJuly mamas, there shall be no loss of any kind before, during and after delivery. God will provide for ALL our needs spiritually, mentally, academically, economically, socially, physically, financially, biologically, and healthwise according to His riches in gory.

Thank you Cappo. Went to my private clinic today and my BP is back to normal. The toothache is still there o. They said its pregnancy induced so my hope of eating meat and fish is till August. @Dazzle86 I registered in a government hospital mainly because my mom kept pressuring me to and also because I did not believe in the capabilities of the gynecologist at my HMO. The man too do. He never explains anything or talks to you. He just looks at your file, looks at your tummy and sends you on your merry way but since na free healthcare, I intend to make full use of it. Afterall, na from my salary dem dey deduct am.

However, if you want to register at a General hospital, please either go to one where you know someone that can help you overcome their bureaucracies or be ready to have an open hand and tip the nurses and matrons for faster services. I registered in one where my friend works. Omo the day I went for booking, I got there by 9am and the list was already at 67 and they were stopping at 80. My friend came and collected the booking money from me, she paid (jumped the queue because she is a staff) then took me to where thery were doing the registration. Come see different mamas with different preggy sizes. Some had been there as early as 6am. My friend went in front, introduced me to the nurses as her sister, next thing everybody was saying oya aburo Bukkie, wa se weight, wa se blood pressure, wa se urine test. All the women there that saw that I was just coming and I was being attended to started grumbling. One of them was bold enough to ask why they were attending to me since I was just coming and the nurse told her that I had come since 6am but that I went back home to take my bath. Kai, I felt bad small sha. Anyways, under 30mins, I was done with everything, all with my friend's influence. Yesterday was my first appointment and in less than 10mins, all my checking were done and she took me to the Consultant specialist herself. She told the woman that she wanted her to be attending to me at every appointment and the woman wrote my name in her appointment book and gave me an appointment for next week instead of the usual 2weeks.
One thing about government hospital though (especially the maternity ones) is the availability of different specialists but you have to be willing to be P-A-T-I-E-N-T

@One of them was bold enough to ask why they were attending to me since I was just coming......
That person is just like me .

@phalekkys my Cappo am Present oo. back pain is all am having now. Went for ma ANC today, had TT2 today my hand already aches (any remedy?)and no malaria tabs yet. Registered in a health centre too will see if they will TAlk about it.
#teamJuly has any1 been able to check the sex of there baby? want to go for scan, what do i look out for, the last time I went my doc didn't really tell me anything, he only showed me my baby and out of excitement I didn't ask questions.
If I may ask what does it take to register in a General hospital.

Mama's please what can I use to bring down high BP? Had my first appointment at the General hospital today anf my BP read 137/84. The doctor looked at me and said Madam what is wrong? Why is your BP high? I was surprised because I feel very fine, just occasional headaches. He asked me to go and lie down for about an hour so I went to my friend's office that works in the hospital to lie down. After an hour, they checked again but this time it was 134/81. The doctor prescribed some drugs and gave me short appointment for next week. Protein was not found in urine though. I tried to read online and i saw this could lead to pre eclampsia. I reject it though. I'm at home resting instead of going back to work but I'm kinda scared. What can I do to bring it down? Abeg make una no jump and pass o

For the bp, try and reduce salt and maggi intake, take plenty water and rest very well. #TeamJulyfornoloss IJN.

Frustrating as i have to always have food on standby all d time even when i am going out for like 4hours, i have to pack like 2 different food plus ijekuje. Hehehehe ( ko easy mehn).
Me i cannot wait for July to come ooo. Everyday i wake up, i count from March to July to see how many months is left. It is well with all of us. Lets keep enjoying our pregnancy. Take care

Before now my ds will suck and suck and suck till my ni.pples will be sore and cracked and bruised and he will still cry for more but mehn today I used the ni.pple shield and he sucked and sucked and sucked and sucked and I was just there pressing phone and watching tv

today I experienced one f the joys of being a mother, I went to the hospital for my first antenatal care. Though a little strssfull but it was worth it. I also did my first scan today n I was like... for real? I only witness it in movies and hear abt them. I was so thrilled and happy wen I saw my baby's shape and its heart, d tiny head and d steady heartbeats.
I didn't knw wen I burst into laughter n a tears were dropping from my eyes. it was a wonderful experience for me.

my PVC is 27% n I wonder wia all d blood went cos at October it was 45% so wat drained d blood. someone shld explain oooo.

then I was given a shot of injection on my left arm around d shoulder.... forgot to ask d doctor.

I can't wait for my next appointment.

Edd is July 29th this year

Haven't check sex yet though I don dey pick some things gradually. I made it a habit of buying at least one baby thing each time I enter market. My clothes no dey enter me again too, i have loose tire. Baby bump z now visible this child no want hide at all, started showing at 13weeks.

So we should be expecting to see your bump tomorrow
