In your room Sony is not sinking.. I have been a Sony fan boy since I was a kid. So don't think I have a bias against them. But I don't write based on emotions but purely on facts. Sony is sinking faster than you can imagine. Their only profitable business at this time is the PlayStation.

The Motorola-Google deal with Samsung is a figment of one's imagination. It never exist. The Motorola-Google deal is a freaking $12 billion flop.

Unless success has another definition, I will agree with you that the Motorola-Google deal was "very" successful.

Google doesn't have a magic wand. Everything they touch do not turn to gold like people assume. Say hello to Google Plus, the presumed Facebook killer.

Life doesn't work that way bro . Google acquired Motorola for the same purpose you are claiming. The Motorola deal is Google's worse deal in history.

To say that Sony doesn't give a f**k about its poor sales is disheartening. No body does business to become a charity organization. Business is done to maximise profit because at the end of every fiscal year, investors don't fall for emotions, they want results. Hope this helps.. First! Motorola under Google was very successful! Yes an infact that's why it was sold to lenovo... Just as greenhulk explained. If google makes it own phones it would sell more phones than most companies, this was what was happening with Motorola so Samsung complained about it and google also complained samsung customisation to android os on its phones where to heavy. So the signed a deal for samsung to reduce its customisation while google sell of Motorola.


And sony is not sinking! Do you have an idea of what the company sony is? They are much much bigger than you think! If the sell half of their divisions, the would still be bigger than all the company in nigeria put together. Please!

Chilax bro. I don't use Sony, not in support of Sony either as I know for sure they are not making money from xperia phones, so looks like they don't give a f**k. My comment was based on why apple sells more iPhone than any other phones. Reason being they make their software and their phones without giving out license. If Google decide to do the same then they will sell more Google phones than iphones.

My android has the same issue. I have not had time to go to ikeja to give the retailers (i-cell) to fix it so I use desktop charger to charge the battery directly

Xperia z has a good display but very poor viewing angles. However the problem was fixed in xperia z2, and became even better with xperia z3. Sony xperia z5 is one of the best smartphones available on terms of display, especially Sony xperia z5 premium. That phone has qhd screen with 806 ppi. That is way way more ppi than even a galaxy s6 with a wooping 23mp camera.

The problem they had hough is their design has been the same since xperia z. For me I'm not feeling that rectangular design and u can't even differentiate between someone holding a Sony xperia z and Sony xperia z5. Also they seem to release 2 xperia phones in a year. Xperia z2 was released 6 months after xperia z, likewise z3. And those rectangular bricks are very expensive. U can imagine Sony xperia z3, 2014 flagship sold for N107,000.

I think we think alike...

I was just about to say its because of

1. Ridiculous design (both external and its UI)
2. Ridiculous Price...

Hi there fellow romancelanders, this is actually my first time writing here and I'm writing this out of frustration and anger. Well here it goes:

Today before my boyfriend left for work, he asked me to give him N2000 that when he gets back he'll give it back in the evening. But I told him I wanted to use the money for my personal use. He then asked me what I wanted to use the money for and I was like it's my money and I don't have to tell you. Initially he thought I was joking cos he asked me like three times but I gave him the same answer.
He insulted me calling me a useless and selfish person, that I'm very inconsiderate and wicked. He said it's today he knows I'm a certified calabar witch and the kind of hatred he has for me is making him feel disgusted. At first I was laughing, thinking he was joking but when he said I'm not taking him seriously I knew this n.igga meant every word he had just said.
And the worst part of it all, he went to complain to my elder sister that I'm refusing to give him the money and I know fully well that he is in need of it urgently. He collected the N2000 from my sister and left my house.
I'm just sitting here wondering, so it's because of only 2k my boyfriend is behaving like this, why did he have to embarrass me like that in front of my sister by complaining to her and borrowing money form her too? I'm feeling so bad that I've chosen not to speak to him again, at least not this night. What do you all think, was I wrong? What should I do now?

He asked for money cos he needed it! Like he said. You know need is different from want.

You told he you want to use it. Its not wrong at all to say no, that you want to use it.

But then he asked what for? You are suppose to tell him what exactly you want to use the money for and how you exactly intend to spend it. You can't just tell him "personal stuffs" he is your boyfriend, there is nothing personal that you can't tell him...so telling him "personal stuffs" is just an excuse to not just give him the money which is an act of stingy-ness.

Now put your self in he soes. and 'imagine' you're seriously in need of 2k, and you ask from a very good friend or himself, and they tell you they want to use it, and because you really need it, you ask what for? And him/her tell you personal stuff, how would you feel? Tell me you won't feel the person is stingy?

Gaming sha. Well it can play angry birds, modern combat, temple run, etc. But once u try installing a high end pc games that thing will fry. It runs on antom based Intel based processor, 2gb of ram and remember no fan. It is good for medium consumption like watching videos, browsing the web, chatting and skyping. It can also do word editing but won't be as fast as a real laptop. U can't even try video editing on it.

But all round its a good tablet/laptop hybrid for students, nothing more. U think microsoft are fools to let their surface pro run i3 and i5 processors with 4gb and 8gb of ram?

And I'm sure iphones screen wouldn't have been bigger if not for android pushing out bigger screen phones and iPhone users started getting jealous. I remembered Steve Jobs saying 3.5 inch is the perfect screen. But look at them today making 5.5 inch screen phones... Thanks to android. So bro android will affect ios somehow. If Samsung starts selling their galaxy s phones for $300 off contract, then apple would probably reduce their price to like $450.

Look at it this way, when mediatek gets to its peak, and xiaomi, meizu and co start making premium phones that can match the samsung, HTC and LG at 40% reduction in price, breaking into the US and European market, it will force the big guns to reduce their price. Now when Samsung start reducing the price of the galaxy s and galaxy note series, it will affect apple somehow and they will also reduce the price of the iphonee even if its by just 20%. Remember iPhone 3g was sold for $1,000 for 8gb model, now iPhone 6s with 16gb sells for like $700.

Trust me, I won't affect apple...... One reason....cos iphone uses ios
