atheistandproud: You really have a problem if you had read my first reply to you as an insult. Calm down and read again then show proof that I "started it" All these your rant is just in futility. You're like a man trying so hard to save his face from the effect of ignorance. Consider this my last quote to you on this matter. 4 Likes |

atheistandproud: You're really not intelligent enough to avoid insult. The guy wizyoung claimed that it was stated and you called it a 'misleading false assertion ' without doing your homework You try to sound technologically woke but ended up wallowing in your own ignorance. I have nothing more to say to you because apparently you consider yourself an Island. Take care. 3 Likes |

atheistandproud: This man, why are confusing yourself now? Now you're saying manual can ask to discharge for calibration? The point the other poster(s) are making is about whether to charge to 100% first time after purchase or drain before charging up. The point is: whether you charge to 100 for first time or not, it does not change a thing about the battery itself. Some powerbanks truly said to drain first before first time recharge. You're just arguing baselessly. Lithium polymer batteries don't need to be charged 100% first time. If you do, no problem, if you didn't no problem. Calibration does not happen via 1 time cycle. It happens over multiple cycles of charge-discharge (maybe three cycles for some) |

Chai! A harmless comment which earned its poster about 1000 likes is now a problem to this Op. Bia, talk true: Which part got you angry? Is it the 1000 likes or the fact that he subtly supported Peter Obi? Come off it! Don't tell me your out burst is an effort to educate (according to you) 1000 ignorant nairalanders. 2 Likes |

ClassicMan202: HMMMN! THIS IS APT! Sometimes, people end up doing certain work for the rest of their lives even though that work was initially intended for a short time sustenance. At first, it would all seem like a regular cycle for a means to an end. They soon realize how difficult it is to break the cycle. "Next year i will stop this work and move on... Oh no! Just one more year... Gosh! Who's gonna pay the bills?" 1 Like 1 Share |

Phones / Re: Infinix Hot 10i - Helio G70 Scam? by photon3106: 10:20am On Jul 12, 2021 |
MedoUnboxing: I haven't seen your video but I hope you do realise that there are lots of cloned infinix and Tecno phones out there? Besides, if what you so claim is indeed true with the unit you explored, the choice of SoC (Spreadtrum) should tell you that possibility of that being a clone is very high as that's the major "go-to" chipset for clone makers. Take your time to go through the Infinix hot series (pls start with hot 6 to hot 10 variants) and their SoCs, then you'd realise that very small difference exist between successive devices. Infinix keep churning same devices with different names and subltle variation in hardware as entirely new devices. This is a trend that works for them. So they don't even need to lie about the SoC during marketing. Worst case, they could have ended up with an outdated MTK chip but not the Spreadtrum 1 Like |

Money2000: The uploading by CPIs is still in progress. Some institutions have done completed the uploading while others haven't yet. hence reason for the blank names on the selected institutions. |

talktalk4u: Why are you quick to criticise people's opinion especially when you have failed to comprehend what they've said? Perhaps you didn't see the part where I stated that I might be wrong though... and that he should check other sources for help. Hemstone: That's quite unfortunate but not unusual for buggy updates to break up ph one's functionality. Possible solution: 1. Backup and do a factory reset 2. Flash the phone |
Phones / Re: ***** Infinix Discussion Thread ***** by photon3106: 9:35pm On Jun 16, 2021 |
andrewtosin: I don't think the so called INFINIX smart TV advertised on sites like Jumia are actually manufactured by Transsion. I might be wrong though. Looks like they're GENERIC tvs merely branded "Infinix" Since they are generic devices, there is very little you could get in terms of specs and features online. You should try other source for help as you might not get the answer that you seek. |

Jeriel: No, you won't have to. Whether your name came with say, batch A or B, you can register with succeeding batch. I don't know whether this holds when you have started your registration already but didn't complete it. |
NYSC / Re: Your NYSC Questions Answered by photon3106: 6:56pm On Jun 16, 2021 |
Jeriel: As long as your name is on the senate list uploaded by your school, and you have not started reg, you can register with the next batch. what matters is that your name is on Nysc senate list already. Just sit back and wait for the next batch to register. |
