For your business, your best bet is 6feet freezers, they're chinese brands that are okay, there are the main stream brands too that offers decent warranty if you must go by brand loyalty and are concerned about warranty backing, you can also do foreign used. Those are very rugged and quality freezers. You can get leibherr, GE, Siemens, BOSCH etc.

Do you need solar panels to use an inverter? Cos we live in a rented apartment and can’t install solar panels on the roof. My gen doesn’t carry our fridge so considering other options. Please I would appreciate input.

1) their fridge compartments get very cold even to the point of freezing sometimes.

2) Takes days to defrost after power outage.

You all must understand that this kind of refrigerator has only one compressor which is directly linked to the freezer part. The freezer section must be completely frozen before the fridge part will ever get cold, that is why stable electricity is a must. On the other hand you can get this side by side refrigerator that has two compressors, one for the freezer part and the other for the fridge part. The only downside is the cost, it's more expensive than this type you bought

Does this mean the fridge compartment of a smaller refrigerator (that has a small freezer) will get colder faster?
