Just bear for the remaining 2 more weeks till they reach the 6month mark.
You can introduce formula now if you wish. No one takes home a medal for 6months EBF, it is just a recommendation.

But for the pap and cereal, just chill a little. Please. Pele
Thanks I will try

Hello mamas pls i need ur input as I am due to resume to work soon and I'd have to start exoressing breast milk for my LO. Kindly help with the following question
1.Can I use other tightlt sealed plastic containers to store the milk or must it be specifically labeled milk storage containers
2.mamas that use creche do you go with the frozen milk and let them thaw it themselves or you thaw before leaving the house,I have those feeding bottle warmers do I put the frozen milk there or warm
3.Is it advisable to express d night or day before for the next day use or
4.A mama mentioned about hind milk and baby's poop.please advise on this as well
Please also share any other useful information .
Many thanks all for always being there
Answer to question 2,what I do is after expressing the milk,I put it in hot water and take to the creche in hot vacuum flask.
Answer to question 3,I express in the night and in the morning cos I don't refrigerate my milk and I must take at least 2 bottles

No, teething powders are not recommended or considered safe. If you look up Teething Powders with the Search function, you'll be able to read plenty of discussions about it. HTH.

With hypertension in pregnancy CS is a possibility. Its often associated with complications to the mother and child, even with the best drugs and most experienced doctor. Sadly, it can be recurrent.

What I'd advice is if a judgement call has to be made to save the life of the mother, child or both, and it happens to be CS it should be done.
Thanks and noted

Hello phunmykay

Fresh still birth, was the pregnancy between 37 and 41 weeks?

Has this happened before? What were the events associated with the pregnancy?(diabetes, hypertension, infection, bleeding etc)

what were the events surrounding labour(prolonged labour, shoulder dystocia etc?)

What was she told was the cause of the still birth?

If the cause is recurrent, sadly surgery might be the only option.
Thanks doc and good Morning,it was not a prolonged labour and the pregnancy was 40 weeks, what happened was just that the baby didn't cry and labour phrase was 12 hours and it was d ist pregnancy.High bp was complained of but now it is normal,120/60

Good day doc,if a woman delivers a baby and it results to a FRESH STILL BIRTH and now she is pregnant again, should CS be the next option or she should be allowed to have her baby on her own?
There was no complications but episiotomy was done and the mother . left the hospital the 2nd day.
