It all started this morning when i woke up to check my MTN balance to find out that #32 naira has been deducted from my account. I called the MTN customer care helpline to know the reason why and this was what transpired between us.
Customer Care: Good Morning Sir! My name is Oyindamola. How may i help u?
Me: My Name is Alex calling from Lagos.
Customer Care: Okay Mr. Alex. Are you calling from your own MTN number?
Me: YES
Customer Care: OK. How may i help u?
Me: For the fact that i haven't called anyone on my cellphone does not give MTN the right to tamper with my airtime.
Customer Care: (She started laughing) Sir, can you please repeat yourself again?
Me: (Angry) Dem tell you say i come here come play?
Customer Care: Okay sir! I remember now. You said MTN deducted your airtime right?
Me: Hot tea dey your mouth when i talk am before?
Customer Care: (she chuckles) Okay sir. What kind of phone are you using?
Me: Chinko dey subscribe to BIS services?
Customer Care: Okay sir. You are using a Blackberry right?
Me: Ask me again
Customer Care: Okay sir. Please hold for a moment while i check your number. (LAUGHING)
Customer Care: Sir! R u there? Hello?
Me: I no say una sabi lie. So tell me the lie. I dey hear you.
Her laughter became obvious and i could hear another lady asking her the reason why she was laughing.
Customer Care: Ok Sir. From my computer
Me: "Cuts In" I dey hear you
Customer Care: I see that your BIS subscription is still active but the reason why your airtime was deducted was because you are using MTN default wap settings. So, please follow these steps to change it.
Me: Abeg tell me another LIE.
Customer Care: Oga, abeg i no wan laugh. Thanks for choosing MTN
LWKMD O
VicGoodGuy: Others r looking for ways to make their 1.5k worth of BIS work on their phones, while u are here asking them how u can browse free. OK, dip ur Lumia into a boiling pot of water, allow to steam for 5 mins, then allow it to cool a bit, then insert ur sim card and browse away freely.
Mc Stoic: Dear Nairalanders, how advisable is it converting your favourite, normal sized sim into a micro sim line? I just got a HTC One X (unlocked international version) which i intended using with my MTN line. Am now in a dilemma cos am afraid of cutting it to micro sim since i usually swap phones when network and low battery palaver arises. Should i go ahead and cut my MTN Sim or do it with another network and end up carrying multiple phones around? Also, which network is the best for an android user? Thanks in advance.

Jiteshell: I inserted my glo sim in an Airtel modem(that have already been configured to browse with glo sims), instead of the website i type to open, glo's website would open, that is the only website i can access with it. This is not the first glo sim i have used with that modem and the others worked perfectly well. Please i need help!!

Teenage Money: This is not a Post to Criticize Tecno nor Things of that Nature. This is A Comprehensive post Which states The Confused Nature of Tecno.
Firstly, I would Like to complement the Fact that Tecno Has Really Upgraded many Individuals to the Reinging Platform (Android OS) With Super Cheap and Quality Phones..
Not Derailing From the actual Topic of the Day, Let me Go In Details and not waste your Time..
*: Tecno Announced two different Smartphones with Barely Different Specification in less than 2 weeks. Isnt That Rediculous? Tecno M3 and L3 Were Released Almost The Same Time Both Running On Same Android JellyBean OS, 4GB Internal Memory and 512MB RAM 3.5 Inches Screen and Little Difference Like 5MP Camera on M3 while L3 Has a 3MP Camera.
*. Phone RAM: Low RAM Is too Mainstream On Tecno Android phones. Having Anything Less than 1GB RAM on Android OS is too Bad. Apart From Tecno Phantom A1 and Tecno N9, No Other Tecno Mobile Phone has RAM Upto 1GB.
true dats d diff btw tecno highend phone and tecno entry level
Ogetogeo:What baffles me is how peeps who have not even handled this E3 talk about the internal memory being 16gb. This is a lie from the pit of hell!!!
I was helping a friend tweak his new E3, which he bought just because he was also deceived about the ROM, I went to the storage and confirm my initial fears. The truth is Gionee Elife E3 has just 4gb ram and out of this just 1.7gb is available to the user.
I still had to search further to confirm my friend was not cheated till I saw this video:
Anybody who claims otherwise can post a screen shot of his internal storage on this thread and lets know if they have two versions of this phone or what.
I still believe Jiayu G3s is still better at this range.
4gb ram
