Lol

Yeah
Renida:
Don't be unhappy if you're still single. Forgive yourself for not being hooked. And who knows when we stop searching, it just could come looking for us. wink

Damn true !!

Renida:
That's why I kept pointing at

1. State of maturity

2. Mental psyche of the other party

If a person isn't relaxed in loving or mature, they won't make good partners. Forget it.

Some guys are just very weird naturally. I hate girls who play hard to get, I very much do.

This guy probably didn't care in the first place, but you got attracted rather. And he decided to play around, I really can't tell.

Ignore the mofo. And focus on something better.

Why?

Are you attracted to guys?
Renida:
I love not to be stressed. Chasing is stressing and oftentimes Lexmark one to question oneself and experience constant self doubt, I don't want to be in this position. If I like a lady, I'm ready as a guy to work with her pace, but then, a guy chases, today lady's head is on her shoulder, the next day is not. Instability and heart issues is a mixture many men hate to deal with. In the end, we must be ready to deal with some drama in issues that affects the heart.

Oh I'm yet to see a lady I really really like since I was created

Lol
I love that line” be where you’re worshipped not where you’re tolerated .

So you love to be chased huh

I see

Renida:
.

I didn't say Nigerian men. I simply wrote about some persons, male and female, humans in general. It's psychological immaturity. Don't let their immaturity lead you to form new unhealthy habits. If you like the person, keep them far, and watch them beg for your attention as they outgrow their mental posturing. For now, go for where you're worshipped, not where you're tolerated

As for me, I don't want a lady I have interest in making it hard, at my age, level of maturity, five minutes is what I want to bear chasing anyone. Nothing more. In fact, I rather be chased
RomanceRe: Why Do Guys Lose Interest When A Lady Acts Interested In Them? by piamily(op): 1:25pm On May 01, 2020
Oh ! I get you now. So you’re saying Nigerian men really want ladies to play the hard to get very hard then. So why are they complaining. Well then I’ll keep playing it hard as usual since they think it was bread and butter they got in a platter of gold

Renida:
I feel sorry if such is the scenario. People lose interest once their person of interest for so many reasons. One of this which I think is the case here is psychological posturing. What this means is some people are used to working extremely hard aka hustling for things. Their entire life rests on a perspective that what they must have, they must work for, unfortunately some of this whole way of thinking affects even not working aspects of their lives. So in relationships for example, this kinds want to toast toast, chase and beg the woman, but if it doesn't follow this narrative and the lady makes asking her out easy, it poses no challenge and isn't mentally tasking. This makes them see lesser value however good such a partner maybe.

I believe the narrative above is the scenarios playing out here
RomanceRe: Why Do Guys Lose Interest When A Lady Acts Interested In Them? by piamily(op): 1:23pm On May 01, 2020
This is a different scenario.cos here you’re saying the girl made the move.

I’m actually saying that In my case the man made the move

ibksiv:
Ionknow!
I had such an experience where a female friend of mine, shocked my azz by telling she loves me. At first it didn't cause any change of my attitude towards her, but after while, I began to see involuntary indifference all over my attitude towards her. I believe it is just a matter of feelings. She has feelings for a guy but he doesn't have, so that while she expects the guy to behave towards her according to her feelings, she gets disappointed when he doesn't therefore appearing as though the guy is losing interest or has lost interest.
RomanceRe: Why Do Guys Lose Interest When A Lady Acts Interested In Them? by piamily(op): 1:21pm On May 01, 2020
Okay. There’s thing guy I met one time last year. So he came up bold and said he was interested in a relationship. He didn’t even waste time. I was impressed . Normally I was supposed to dish out my “naija shakara girls style” you know, but I didn’t . After some days I agreed to date him.

I found out he’s easy going so I decided to give in and be mutual with the love and attraction etc. as soon as I got interested, he withdrew.

I noticed it . I don’t understand why a man will do this. Was he not interested? And does he expect the woman to hate him.

I see some men complain about ladies being hard to get and now a lady didn’t play that much hard yet the man withdrew a bit. Still don’t get men sometimes sha

No the guy hasn’t even chased and chased , he just started and is doing shakara because the woman acts interested. I really don’t understand if men expect women to chase them.

Won’t he kill his ego?

I'll stay here to read comments. At times when the guy pursues and purses and purses, it's oftentimes when the other party picks interest, his begin to dry up

I have noticed men especially African men loose interest when a lady becomes interested in them even just a bit. I really don’t get it.

Do men expect women to hate them even when the men love the women? Cos I don’t understand if it should be mutual or not

Media personality, Kelechi Ikpe has said that one of the reasons why depression is on the rise is because men are disturbed by women taking up leadership roles.

Four African women sat down to discuss the rise in depression in our society in the 21st century. The group was made up of Lolo Cynthia, Kelechi Ikpe, Rafieka Williams, and Wathoni Anyansi.

As they spoke about depression, Kelechi came up with a point that she believes has led to the rise in depression. According to her, A lot of men are depressed because a lot of women are taking up leadership roles.

PhonesRe: How Apple Iphones Might End Up Like Blackberry If They Don't Change by piamily(f): 7:37pm On Jan 18, 2019
NaijaTechGuy:
Apple iPhones are officially going to end up like blackberry soon. If you follow this blog, a couple of weeks ago I made a post about Apple losing about $57b , if you missed that post you can find it here - Apple Loses $57b .

This week I'm going to be closely analysing how Apple's iPhone downfall is just starting and how they might end up like BlackBerry if they don't start being innovative.

Apple enjoys the position it has currently based on the fact that in 2006 when the first iPhone was launched there wasn't any strong competitor and also due to the fact they have total control over their operating system something Google plans to have with the release of Fuschia OS.

Apple iPhones Coming With Recycled Features

Starting from the iPhone 7 to the the current iPhone XS Max , Apple has not added anything substantial to their devices apart from removing the headphone jack and adding a notch. All Apple does is change the processor and flip the cameras. Take a look at the image below and see if you can actually guess the phones in the image -

https://www.naijatechguy.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/apple-1-300x191.png

Then take a look at this second image with the names of the phones below them.

https://www.naijatechguy.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/apple2-300x191.png

Also like every year a couple of leaks about how Apple's new phone - The iPhone XI would look have also surfaced and here are the most popular ones so far

https://www.naijatechguy.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/apple3-300x225.png

Still in the flipping camera business eh?

It's one thing to recycle designs and features and a totally different thing to make them exorbitant. Make a quick Google search to compare the cost of upgrading from an iPhone X to an iPhone XS Max considering the only difference is that the devices.

Apple iPhones Are No Longer For Consumers

Apple has stopped developing phones for the users, all they are after is the money. Even Tim Cook confessed at some point last year that they were slowing older iPhones down. They want to force iOS users to upgrade so they can make more money.

I get the fact that every brand is out to make money but don't force your users to do something they don't want to and still extort them on top.

Why do users have to buy the fast charging cable differently, buy the Airpods differently and also buy the wireless charger differently?

https://www.naijatechguy.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/tenor-2.gif

By the time you calculate how much users have to spend to get the most out of their device , you can use it to get a very good laptop, a brand new Android Phone and a smart watch coupled with a wireless headset.

I'll be honest, Apple truly has added a lot in the world of mobile technology as we know it but they are really running out of ideas and if they refuse to start innovating they will lose out. Blackberry felt nobody could oust them from the mobile scene and we all know where that got them. Nokia too.

Take a look at this chart showing the market share of the top smartphone brands in the world

https://www.naijatechguy.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/prUS44188018-F-1-300x232.jpg

If you look closely , you can see how Apple shipments dropped in the second quarter of 2018.

You can't even say Apple has the best camera in the world right now. The Google Pixel 3 and Huawei Mate 20 Pro has even pushed it further down the chart. I know some people might say that the pricing is because Apple is a Premium company so they have to make premium products. Vertu was a premium brand too before they went off the grid completely.

It's obvious everything is moving too fast and Apple can't seem to keep up anymore . Also due to their current problem with Qualcomm , Apple is even looking to partner with Mediatek to be able to add 5G to their devices

With devices like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 coming with mind blowing specifications for just $150 (N60,000) and flagship devices from Huawei , Oppo and Vivo coming at a lesser price than the Apple devices, Apple should definitely sit up or they'll lose out on the mobile sector they have dominated for so long.

I know a couple of people might say I'm an Android Fan that's why I'm saying all of this but trust me I have nothing against Apple. This post was even written from an Apple Macbook.

All I'm trying to say is Apple should make the upgrade worth the price, if they can't they can chose to release phones once in two years , at least none of us would complain about their camera flipping antics.

I know many Nigerian iPhone users probably won't mind if Apple keeps extorting them because most of them only buy it to convince themselves they have some sort of class. Some of them don't even know what Airdrop does or that they can text another iPhone user on iMessage and some others play music via Xender and Opera Mini.

Apple should do what's expected as soon as possible or win a ticket to oblivion

https://www.naijatechguy.com/2019/01/apple-iphones-will-end-up-like-blackberry.html
that's why it's apple. it's not for you neither is it for everyone. it's for the rich☺
LiteratureTears Of A Heartless Woman Episode 1 And 2 by piamily(op): 11:41am On Dec 20, 2018
My name is Mwansa Yande, I am an orphan who was raised by my uncle and his wife. My parents passed on in a terrible car accident when I was 3 and I joined my grandmother in the village. I remember the village so well although I left when I was 12, my uncle picked me saying I had to go to school.
My uncle works for the mines as a geologist while my aunt is a housewife. She is nothing like my mother, yes I do remember my mother so well. She was light skinned and beautiful, with hair that fell over her shoulders. I hear my parents were so rich and they were the bread winners of the family, I can imagine what that means because if they were better than my uncle then they should have been stinking rich.
My uncle has a beautiful house, it has 7bedrooms and I don’t know how many bathrooms. You should be thinking for people who are so rich, I must at least be a middle child. Well I’m far from that , I’m not even a maid. I’m simply an outcast.
At the back of this mansion is a chicken run and in the next room is a neglected storeroom. Its neither painted nor vanished its simply another room that should have equally been a chicken run. Well to cut the long story short, that is my room.
Its very accommodating to all my needs and I guess i am happy. For me, happiness is a choice. Like you choose to be sad, I have chosen to be happy in all situations. You see for a girl like me you don’t really have much choices, for example none of the things that have happened to me are my choice. So when given an opportunity to choose, I choose happiness.
My aunty and uncle have two children together, they are twins. I call them my sisters from another planet, not in their faces of course. But that’s how I often refer to them. They are sisters from another planet because they are blessed with hate that I can not explain, very bitter beings.
My uncle is in a world of his own and in his world I barely exist, talk of being invisible.
I only have one thing I boast of and that’s my writing talent, I write everything and I document everything about my life. I remained with a couple of books that my father left, that’s all my grandmother kept and she didn’t explain much about where my parents property went.
I don’t consider what my aunty does to me as “mistreating” I call it tough love. She loves me but in a very tough way. Her children, the twins…
She calls them miracle babies because she struggled in labor. Well, they go by the names…. Joy And Faith. Faith is really dark while Joy is quite light, that’s the only way I can tell them apart. Other than that, they look so much alike. They are 18years of age, very beautiful and very spoilt.
My uncle promised that I would be starting first grade again on my 21st birthday. I did learn from 1st grade to 7th in the village, hence I can write and read fluently.
Anyway my birthday is in two weeks and I am so excited. I was supposed to be in night school with other adults but my aunty said no. She wants me to be in day school a class filled with kids that will probably laugh at me, I know it’s a plot to get me frustrated so I stop school but against all odds.. I am a survivor.
I survived this life, I survived everything my aunt threw at me. I will survive this one too, I just want to learn more how to read and write. I Like to read and write a lot but my English is basic. I guess that’s all I can do. I have absolutely no interest in arithmetic or any other subjects. One day I hope to be a writer. I believe I will sale a lot of books. I’m so excited about school because I get to move a step closer to my dream of becoming a writer. I’m not sure how that will play out but I believe all will go well in Gods time.
The first thing I would like to buy when I become successful is a house, because this steel roof above my head steals every inch of sleep I have.

STUDENTSFORUM:
FEATURED ON Student Corner http://studentsforumng.com/checkout-top-10-most-expensive-secondary-schools-in-nigeria/

"If education is expensive, try ignorance," is a quote that is supposed to discourage people from grumbling at the amount a few schools charge to formally educate children. But how much is too much? We can agree that the educational standard in Nigeria is pretty poor, and due to this, various private schools are springing up, promising international-standard education. The only caveat is that it will cost you, and cost you millions.

Here are the 10 Most Expensive Secondary Schools In Nigeria

10. Loyala Jesuit, Abuja: School Fees: N2.8 million

https://studentsforumng.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/Students-of-Loyola-Jesuit-International-Loyolajesuit.org_.jpg

Located in Gidan Mangoro, Abuja, this private boarding school was established in 1996. The teaching and supervision is done by the members of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits). The school is very selective when it comes to admitting students and each student pay a fee of about N2, 800, 000.

9. Meadow Hall, Lagos: School Fees: N3 million.

https://studentsforumng.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/A-section-of-Meadow-Hall-meadowhallschool.org_.jpg

This is one of the most expensive schools in Lagos. It was founded by Mrs. Kehinde Nwani in 2002. The school's main objective is to focus on developing every child's talents and make sure the students reach their highest potential.

8. Greensprings School, Lagos: School Fees: N3.185 million

https://studentsforumng.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/Students-of-Greensprings-school.jpg

Also located in Lagos, Greensprings Schools pride themselves in the fact that they are accredited by The Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA), an agency aimed at improving the quality of schools around the world.

7. Whiteplains British School, Abuja: School Fees: N3.6 million

https://studentsforumng.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/Students-of-Whiteplains-school-whiteplainsschool.com_.jpg

This boarding school aims to incorporate the British National Curriculum while also introducing the inquiry based approach of teaching and learning as expounded by Edexcel and Cambridge accreditation. The fees amount to as much as N3.6 million per annum.

6. Day Waterman College, Abeokuta: School Fees: N3.7 million

https://studentsforumng.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/Students-of-Day-Waterman-College-dwc.org_.ng_.jpg

This school has not been accorded as much attention as it should. Perhaps, this is due to the fact that it is located in Ogun state, a region not many people will automatically look at when thinking about extremely expensive schools. But they certainly are worth a second look as being on this list means they offer something special.

5. Lekki British International School, Lagos: School Fees: N4 million
https://studentsforumng.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/Students-of-Lekki-Bbritish-International-High-School-lekkibritishschool.org_.jpg

This school was established in 2000. It is the premiere British school in Nigeria. Each student pays as much as N4, 000, 300 per session for tuition and this also includes feeding, school uniforms, hostels, Sunday wears and textbooks.

4. American International School, Abuja: School Fees: N4.3 million

https://studentsforumng.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/American-International-School-building-aisabuja.com_.jpg

This American-accredited international school was founded in 1993. It reportedly boasts of over 30 nationalities represented in the school students' population. Interestingly, the school only has about 500 students from Pre-school to Grade 12.

3. British International School, Lagos: School Fees: N4.48 million

https://studentsforumng.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/British-International-School-building-bisnigeria.org_.jpg
Located in Victoria Island, Lagos, British International School was established in September 2001. It boasts of such facilities as a multi-purpose hall, music suites, theatre, computer suites, science suites, tutorial rooms, swimming pool and more. Majority of the students are foreigners.

2. Grange High School, Lagos: School Fees: N4.5 million

https://studentsforumng.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/Grange-International-School-building-grangeschool.com_.jpg

This is the second most expensive school in Nigeria. The school is one of the only three to be accredited by the UK's Independent Association of Preparatory Schools (IAPS).

1. American International School, Lagos: School Fees: N5.5 million
https://studentsforumng.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/American-International-School-Lagos-aislagos.jpg

And here comes the school whose fees is the most mind-blowing of all. The American International School, Lagos, offers an American education program for students of all nationalities from preschool through 12th Grade. The curriculum at the school is based on US national standards.

Hi guys. I've got this great passion for music, but unfortunately, I can read music or play any instruments (except the drums sha which I used to play back then in block rosary during Congress and crusade events grin)

Well, to help me kick-start my learning, I finally got a piano. Then I downloaded loads of YouTube videos on "how to play the piano"

Ive been watching and practicing but I don't seem to get it right. I'm beginning to think that I'm probably wasting my time but I'm quite determined.

I stay in Ogun state (Sagamu) and don't know people whom I think can help.

Is it possible to learn the piano via watching online videos? My major setback is the finger placements. I often times play 2 notes when I'm supposed to press one.

Any help will be very much appreciated.

RomanceWhy She Will Leave You For Another Man by piamily(op): 6:00am On Oct 13, 2018
The simplest things of life are the deepest things. Most times it’s those Little things that matter the most.

There are so many things men might do to irritate their women.
Sometimes the men think it’s all her fault, but there’s more to it. Men might think they are doing their best but in reality, they are messing the whole thing up. It can come from the man without even having a clue and he begins to think women are quite complicated.

However, these few Secrets will guide you on the reasons she might leave you for another guy.

1. COMPARING HER WITH OTHER GIRLS.

She can totally hate you for this. Why should you be comparing her with others? If she ain’t unique, then why did you choose her?

If you love a chubby woman you go for her, and if you love a slim woman, stop telling her to add or reduce weight for you.

If you love average girls go for them, not after you’re tired you start telling her to grow tall for you.. NAWA O.. Read this to be sure you love her.

2. NOT BEING A GENTLE MAN.

This might be a secret I’m about to leak. Most times some smart ladies observe you to test your protective mechanism.

See how to treat her better
https://www.heartidotes.com/2018/05/31/step-by-step-secrets-to-handling-a-lady-you-love/

Ladies, ever walked with a guy on the road and he tells you to stay by the side of the road which isn’t close to the highway or where the cars are passing through? Now, that’s the kinda man every woman wants. One who is very observant and wants the best for her.

Some men just let the lady hang at the side of the road and they themselves stay inside. It could send lots of messages. Women consider these little things. You gotta protect her to keep her. She needs to trust you in those little things.

3. GIVING HER SOLUTIONS WHEN SHE WANTS YOU TO JUST LISTEN.

Another, man, leave , protect, why, woman, love, sex

Just as I said it all in my other post,Handling her better there is so much uniqueness in ladies men don’t observe. She would love you more if you listen to her instead of just finding solutions immediately especially when not asked for? Learn to listen and understand her .

4. DONT SAY ANOTHER GIRL IS PRETTY.

I know you might wonder, but men! It’s a fact.
Even if your girl says, “That girl is pretty, isn’t she?” You don’t even agree. You say, “Not as pretty as you are, baby,” or “What girl?” Know that if you mistakenly agree that she is pretty; your girl will snap back, “Well, if you think she’s so pretty, why don’t you just date her?” You will then spend the rest of the time groveling. Why not shower her with the pretty thing than wasting your time?

5. TELLING HER SECRETS TO YOUR FRIENDS/ RELATIVES

For a woman to show much commitment, she will tell you her secrets. When a woman hasn’t told you her secrets, i doubt she’s into you. Why then should you go about sharing it with others. Even if you break up with her, maturity demands you shut up!

6. DISCUSSING BEDROOM SECRETS WITH YOUR MALE FRIENDS

Every woman wants to feel protected in a man’s arms. This is the greatest fear of a woman you love.

After you guys must have made out and you go about telling your friends, it could break her into pieces. Men, watch it!

7. WHEN SHE SAYS “SHES FINE AND YOU SAY OKAY

When you ask your girl if something is wrong and she says, “I’m fine,” or “Nothing.”

Don’t just say, “Ok.” You should keep asking. Besides, if you really cared she wouldn’t have to tell you. there are some secrets you need to understand about a woman.

RomanceHaving A heart Break? Stages You Pass Through. by piamily(op): 5:55pm On Oct 12, 2018
I wrote this down to enable you understand why someone else might hurt you without knowing. There can be a lot of things that can trigger that.

Here are 6 stages you pass through when you are hurt

STAGE 1. Not accepting the truth

For instance, when one gets heartbroken in a relationship or in friendship, the person can pretend not to feel it for a while.

The person might just do away with it believing its not true or maybe its a dream or something unreal.

Someone who lost a loved one to death, a mother or a father or husband can just react to it in a way that it never happened. He or she might try to bear the pain for a while as though it never existed nor occurred.

STAGE 2. The nostalgic stage

Then, in this stage, the person feels home sick. Familiar memories begin to sprout out. And he or she begins to react in respect to what they feel. They get offended and might get angry too.

The hurt at this stage becomes unbearable and they can lash it out on anyone. A person from a broken home or a broken past can express oneself by such route.

Where we come from has a great way of affecting what we feel. But it takes self control and grace to pass through this phase.

STAGE 3. The frustration or blaming stage.

At this stage, the person becomes angry with everyone around him or her. They react in inhumane ways and begin to blame everyone for their problems. They forget those that helped them at this moment because they are deeply injured.

This is where he or she can actually hurt you without even having a clue that you’re hurt. At this stage, the person is in deep turmoil. A battle field is set and the person does not care anymore.

At some point, they might cut of the friendship they have with you.

STAGE 4. Weighing of options.

Here, they begin to search for a cure to their frustration. They now weigh options. ”Maybe if I do this , I feel better or maybe if I meet him, I feel good,”that’s how they think for a while.

Meanwhile, they now go out seeking for peace and contentment in the wrong place which they might never find.

Romance6 amazing Tips To Host A Successful Date by piamily(op):
Hosting a successful date is not a simple task. Several things have to be taken into consideration, but most especially who you are going out on a date with. You have to make sure that, your date goes smoothly and accordingly. You also have to make sure your date
does not feel disrespected or dishonored.

A perfect date what everyone desires. Whether you're a romantic type, a nerdy type, the adventurous fun type, or artsy type, you want to make sure your date is fabulous.

Going on a perfect date, like the one you have imagined takes much more than just picking a spot and having a conversation. A nice date with your love interest, can make things blossom into a relationship and endear both of you even more.

In this article, you will learn some pretty amazing tips that will help you to host a successful date.

Tips To Host A Successful Date

Some of the tips that you should follow to make your date a success are as follows:

1. Be yourself
It works wonders. Eat the normal way you eat and drink the normal way you do. If they can't accept you that way, then forget them.

2. Consider your date's interest
When choosing how your date should go about, it is best to consider the interests of your date. Taking a guy who loves watching movies to a cinema will impress him. You can know your date's interest by asking him or her, what they like or enjoy doing.
This will show them that you care about what they are interested in and that you're going out of your way to make this date perfect.

3 Look Good
Your appearance matters a lot. How you look on a date will leave an impression on your date, concerning the kind of person you are. So make sure you dress up neatly and smell nice.

4. Choose a Good Location
A perfect date depends a lot on the location. A good location will have a sterile surrounding and a good ambiance. This is what you should be looking for in the location.
Then choose a location based on what you want to achieve from the date. For example, a cinema will be a bad idea if you are getting to know each other better. You will need a place where you can interact adequately.

5. Be interesting and interested
When you are on a date, be interested in your date. Pay attention, and talk less. Also be interesting, try to make smart jokes and be charming.
Don't try to overdo things, or focus on only yourself. See this Tips to treating a lady you love

6. Plan surprises
Yes! Everyone loves surprises. Having one or surprises in your date can turn your date from ordinary to extraordinary. Bringing a special gift all of a sudden or arranging good music or dance when you are on an evening date are allowed good examples.

If going on a successful date is your dreams then the above tips will help you turn them into reality.

Romance10 Amazing Signs That Show You’re Truly In Love by piamily(op): 5:07am On Oct 11, 2018
People mistake feelings of a strong attraction as love. Pecking and necking can increase a form of erotic love but that’s not genuine love.

There’s a very thin line between obsession and love….

SIGN #1 YOU TRUST THEM.

You cannot trust someone you don’t love and you cannot love someone you don’t trust. You can really talk to them about anything. And I do mean anything. You’re totally comfortable around him/her.

SIGN#2 YOU’RE IN LOVE WHEN YOU BECOME SELFLESS

You are deeply in love with someone when everything is no longer about you. You really want to please them because your heart is no longer just your own but its now shared. You think about their problem as though its yours.

SIGN#3 YOU’RE IN LOVE WHEN YOU WANT TO GIVE

Giving is a great sign of love. It triggers one into appreciating the other. You give someone something because you know they do need it not because you feel like.It has been in your heart because you cherish them. Giving doesn’t just involve material things but giving your time and listening ears is very deep and valuable for someone you love.

SIGN #4 YOU FIND YOURSELF ALWAYS TALKING ABOUT HIM/HER

You can’t help it. Someone says or does something that reminds you of him and before you even realize it you’re talking about him. Sometimes it can be involuntary.

SIGN #5 TWO MINUTES WITH THEM IS WORTH MORE THAN A WHOLE DAY WITHOUT HIM/HER

Any tiny interaction, even if he isn’t saying something romantic, makes your whole day. And it can leave you smiling inside for hours after.

SIGN#6 YOU HAVE MORE ENERGY

As you go through your day, you feel more alive and energetic, as if you have a constant adrenaline rush going through you.

You feel more productive, like you can take on the world every single day. Sometimes you might even loose appetite when they are around you and the hunger beeps on when they leave. Lol..how weird love can be.

SIGN #7 TRUE LOVE MOTIVATES POSITIVE BEHAVIOR

You wouldn’t wanna be a burden to someone you love. You will try to drop the bad attitudes since you know it will dampen your love life. Love really changes lotta things. I believe so, you too need to.

SIGN #8 YOU’RE IN LOVE WHEN YOU WANT TO SPUR YOUR PARTNER TO SUCCESS.

If you both just go on dates and telling each other sweet nothings, you’re definitely not in love. I’m not saying those things ain’t important to do but if your relationship lies on this , you’re not in love. Love is way too far from this. You motivate one another to become the best they can ever be.

SIGN #9 DISTANCE IS NOT A BARRIER WHEN YOU’RE IN LOVE.

NO matter how distant the person is, the love is there. There’s this bond/ intimacy that has been built. Now I am not saying long distant relationships are just the best but You must not be physical to bond heart to heart. You must not be physical to prove you are in love. There’s this loyalty regardless of how long you are separated. That’s why you can find someone still in love with the girl he broke up with 4 years ago. And you definitely think ” this guy is crazy” right?

SIGN #10 YOU’RE IN LOVE WHEN YOU’RE COMMITTED.

A lot of people shy away from commitments. They cannot take up responsibilities. Its not just about recognising your responsibilities but to be able to execute them too.

Finally, If you can recognise and carry out your responsibilities, then you are committed and ready to love at its best.

Feel free to add yours

LiteratureRe: Chimamanda Adichie: Bride Price Should Be Abolished, I'm Not A Fan Of It by piamily(f): 1:24am On Sep 26, 2018
Ayodele70:
Nigerian writer, speaker, and activist, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has weighed in on the idea of bride price in Nigerian marriages.

She had an evening with some young people in Lagos yesterday, and someone asked a question about bride price.

According to her, her dad didn't receive any bride price during her wedding, he just collected 10kobo to make it symbolic.

She also revealed she is not a fan of bride price because it ruins things.

She said'

"I am not a fan of bride price. I think we should get rid of the whole idea of money in marriage, it ruins things. We are not selling anybody".
