Why does he feel the need to lie? He has made money, he is rich but I'll be damned if that light switch is used in yankee. That is a Naija light switch. The boy lies too much when he doesn't have to.

Hate to be a wet blanket but it's simply a device with a wow factor and nothing more. It will NEVER replace a selfie stick. I bought one for my 12 year old and the thing is so difficult to fly. By the time you keep it steady enough to take a photo, the fans would have drained the battery (within a minute) and it would come crashing down in need of a recharge. It would excite anyone to see it hover, I give it that ...but as a selfie stick replacement? Naah

Perhaps when you can afford to fly abroad whenever you're so ill, then can you make a point.
For now, keep hating behind your keypads in your room while she's getting endorsements in the world.
Obviously a family member or beneficiary. All you see is envy because you have been blinded by the crumbs that may have fallen to you one way or the other. It was no secret that she looted the economy for GEJ and was untouchable. Now the chicken has come home to roost. Only folks like yourself will endorse her "great" works.

And oh... I live in the US and work in Australia FYI so thankfully I don't have to "fly abroad" with stolen money when ill.

PoliticsAlison-Madueke reportedly Sick, Flown Abroad by Piddo(op):
It is being reported that following her failure to get the ex-head of state, Gen Abdulsalam Abubakar to secure a soft landing deal for her from Gen Buhari last weekend, Nigeria’s controversial petroleum minister, Mrs Diezani Alison Madueke has fled the country to the United Kingdom, from where she might escape to a safe haven.

A reliable source in the presidential villa said that “madam had to take off far ahead of the inauguration of the government of Gen Buhari because she is scared he may turn his searchlight on the oil sector.”

Ironically, the minister who is widely known to travel around in private jets had to travel this time in the first class cabin of the British Airways flight.

When contacted to confirm the minister’s whereabouts, one of her aides who asked for anonymity confirmed Alison-Madueke indeed left the country on Monday morning but gave a different reason for the trip.

According to the minister’s aide “it is true the Hon. Minister traveled but she went to take care of her health because she has been down medically and she needs proper medical attention.”

Asked when the minister will be back in the country, the aide said “no one can say when she will be back. That depends on her health and the advice of her doctors. She may come before May 29, she may decide to stay back with her children over there till anytime to take care of herself.”

She can run but cannot hide. And this is what puzzles me about people in power. They always seem to forget that one day, the largesse will end and they will not enjoy the power forever. If this report is true, she must wonder if it was all worth it..living the rest of your life as a fugitive after just a few years of extreme power and a nations stolen wealth.

Why didn't u do all these. SACRIFICE? Abeg park well and spare me those words. Kindly arrange your luggages to Otuoke and stop forming POPE the adviser. You had all the instrument to effect the real sacrifice and change we desire but you choose continuity in seeing corruption as a way of life. We didn't forget how you made life unbearable for us wen u increased fuel subsidy. Sometin that never exist. Our Chibok gals, Police Pension scam, immigration nko? The unremmitted $20billion? Chai, dis man is a mistake on Nigerians. Oga Jona, relocate to Otuoke. You're not a hero u're a clueless man. Simple!
Thank you jare. Why didn't he sacrifice his corrupt ministers by sending them to jail? With all the massive fraud exposed in fuel subsidy, not one single person went to jail. You turned a blind eye to corruption and now asking for sacrifice from Nigerians? We are currently sacrificing a lot as it is. Paying PHCN bills when there is no light. Roughing through the hardship of the economy when our senators and reps are inflating their salaries. I could go on and on with examples. Please shut up GEJ and don't speak about sacrifice.

Yes 'HE IS'. Imagine what the opposite would have be like if he refuses. When his selfish team and those idiots who have invested ransom on is campaign re worming up for war and those of the opposition party? Can u envisaged what could've befall Nigeria by now?
Yes the flip side could have been unpleasant but still gives no reason to be hailed a hero. 6 years of looting and ineffectiveness just becomes OK because he handed over peacefully? In developed countries, it will only help reduce his sentence but he WILL still go to jail.
PoliticsCan You Consider Jonathan A Hero? by Piddo(op): 2:05am On Apr 06, 2015
What is the forum's take on Jonathan's claim to hero status? While it was indeed highly commendable that he gave up power peacefully, it must be said that a deliberate attempt is being made to cover up all the ills of his administration by pointing to that singular act and expecting sympathy and total forgiveness from Nigerians.

He surrounded himself with criminals in his administration and turned a blind eye to the looting of the treasury. His Petroleum minister was untouchable and even when he did reluctantly decide to remove certain officials from government due to corruption, they were never prosecuted. I know its time to move on but it just sickens me to see him being referred to as a hero. The average Nigerian has been so oppressed that we see a peaceful election as a gift rather than a right.

And that is exactly why Obanikoro is being brought back as minister. He will most definitely get his defense ministry portfolio again and with it comes the military power. Schoolboy script being played out by PDP. Easy to see them coming from afar.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Sends Ministerial-Nominees List To Senate by Piddo(m): 12:02am On Feb 18, 2015
When I first heard that Obanikoro will be making a come back as Minister, I thought HELL NO. But Oh my goodness it's true. The script is playing out just as it was rumored. Obanikoro quit his defense ministry portfolio to run for governor. After losing to Agbaje, now GEJ wants him to do the hatchet job for Lagos. Cant we all see what is happening? This last minute ministerial change is a classic script designed just to bring back Obanikoro. All other nominees are a camouflage. Postpone elections, reappoint Obanikoro and minister of state for Defense, use defense ministry might to influence Lagos election outcome like he successfully did in Ekiti. Result? Lagos loses to PDP. Cut off the head of the snake (APC) and you kill the snake.

I beg to disagree. Its a forum to air your views about a subject. Why care to know only those who like a topic? Aren't both sides meant to be expressed? And what would you term "abuse"? If 1 million people dislike a comment or post and only 100 like it? Will that be termed abuse?

PoliticsBode George Appointed To PDP BoT Panel by Piddo(op): 2:46am On Jan 14, 2013
Only in Nigeria can this happen. An ex-convict who went to prison for corruption is brought back to power by a lame duck president who also proudly declares another ex-con (Alamasiegha) his benefactor. Nigeria is doomed. Any wonder why Otedola/Lawan case has been swept under the carpet? Bankole roaming freely and enjoying his loot? We need a revolution in this country. We have a crook as president.
The Peoples Democratic Party has come under criticisms for appointing an ex-convict, Chief Bode George, into a panel to reorganise its Board of Trustees.

A Lagos High Court convicted George in 2009 for fraud after he served as Chairman of the Board of the Nigerian Ports Authority. He spent two years in prison.

Legal practitioners as well as civil rights groups, Anti-Corruption Network and Coalition against Corrupt Leaders, on Sunday, condemned the PDP’s action, saying the party had no respect for the public.

Executive Secretary of ACN and former member of the House of Representatives, Mr. Dino Melaye, and the Chairman of CACOL, Debo Adeniran, said the PDP’s decision was akin to legalising corruption.

Melaye said, “Almost everybody in the party (PDP) is an ex-convict, only time will tell. The party is about corruption, so corruption and corrupt persons mean nothing to them. He (Bode George) is still carrying our national honours and so you can see.”

Adeniran said, “Nobody is expected to associate with a corrupt convict that has not been discharged of the burden of guilt because such people will not do anything to discourage similar crimes.

“He is not going to discourage people of doubting integrity from assuming office as a political leader. By implication, such characters will infest others with the criminal virus because he exemplifies corruption. And since like begets like, whatever decision taken by any committee he is a member can only be seen as lacking in integrity.”

But two Senior Advocates of Nigeria, Rotimi Jacobs and Yusuf Ali, who spoke to our correspondents, differed on the issue.

Jacobs, who is a counsel for the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, while condemning the development, said it was an indication that the PDP was not sincere in its anti-corruption war.

He said, “Is that how the PDP will be fighting corruption? Is that how the ruling party will fight corruption? For a party that is supposed to be fighting corruption, it is a very sad development. It is the shame of a nation.”

But, Ali noted that despite his conviction, George had the right to belong to, and participate in the activities of a political party.

He added that the appointment was a PDP affair, and that the party was not the Federal Government.

Ali said, “The party is not the government. We should not equate the party with the government. Since he belongs to the party, he can function within the party.

“Even conviction cannot stop somebody from belonging to a group or a trade union. If he belongs to a group, he can take part in the activities of the group. It is different from taking public office.”

Meanwhile, a member of the PDP BoT, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the President suggested George’s name at the meeting where the decision was taken.

The source said, “The President suggested his name. You know this is politics; the President is losing followership in the South-West and other zones, so the best he thinks he can do is to look for those who can work with him.

“If he thinks an ex-convict is the best person to reorganise his party, so be it.

“Don’t forget that he said recently that another ex-convict, Chief Diepreye Alamieseigha is his benefactor.

“Ironically, both George and Alamieseigha were convicted for corruption. He has the right to choose his friends.”

When contacted, the Secretary of the Board, Senator Wali Jibrin, declined to speak on the matter.

Asked whether the appointment would not send a wrong signal about the country’s fight against corruption, he said, “I don’t know anything about that.”
