charix: "Since the people want something to believe in give it to them". I don't blame the priestTelling people the cold truth about the solution to their problems being available elsewhere would only move them away from his church to another like it. They want miracles? Show them but claim they need faith when their problem is impossible to solve. They want hope? It's more than abundant, firstly monetary donations are needed. They want morally sound advice? E full bible but let me play devil's advocate and dictate it to them personally.
People deserve the types of leaders they get. Religious ones too all the same. He is not a Priest! |

This cannot be a Roman Catholic priest. OP, if he's a Catholic priest post details of his name and parish. He will be handled by the Bishop if true |

With the responses on here it is clear that African culture is nothing but a set of uncoordinated rules made by egotistical men with hardly any human feelings.
When it comes to your child's upkeep there should not be competition if love exists. This man deserves a big thumbs up! |

Maybe i have an inkling where this is coming from but i believe that there is no power above God and at the mention of Jesus, every kneel shall bow and every tongue shall confess. Yes at the mention of Jesus every knee shall bow. Continue praying as it is working but she needs deliverance to stop the attacks. She is dreaming but she cannot tell you because of her age. Take her to a genuine prayer house for deliverance. Then please watch what your kids eat outside, God bless you, takre |

MrsPhyno: Why not? I thought all those who are not Hausa/Fulani Muslims claim to have voted for Buhari because of his superior policy, because Jona was so bad, and other such altruistic reasons.
So are u saying that they actually voted based on tribalism? And on following the orders of their various "ogas"? My reason for asking is that no one on NL have I seen yet admit that without Tinubu "telling them to do so", they wouldn't have voted for Buhari. I thought it was done out of altruism, patriotism and rationality. My other reason is because most ppl who voted for Jona were castigated for doing the exact same thing that u clearly stated @bold.

My neighbor's first boy is only three and yesterday while we were outside briefly, a guest came to drop something with her. While they were discussing her son ran towards them, quickly bent his head and was trying desperately to look underneath the woman's skirt. I sternly called him and he acted guilty, like someone caught doing something wrong so he knows what he did wasn't right.
This woman is a full-time house wife, she doesn't have a house help, the boy has been home schooled and is just about to start school, she hardly lets her kids out of her sight but in my spare time I have overhead this little boy and his sister say somethings that have left me puzzled, I don't it

Presently, there is a confirmation of those words, another wedding card is on the way and my job replaced since last month. Indeed God is too faithful to fail. sweetcocoa: Again, you prove how messed up your mind, is, by assuming a son can be used as replacement for a husband, because a woman hugged her son. My mind is not messed up, the woman in question clung to her son like one should cling to a husband. Is it that you are not aware of some women substituting their husbands for sons? Why will a MIL who has her own husband to take care of move into her sons house leaving husband alone. Suit yourself. |

As long as you don't do this you will not have problems letting go and your son won't have to chose between you and his wife because you will be busy taking care of your own husband. |

sweetcocoa: I don't get you, she shouldn't love her son because he'd get married someday? So if I have a son and he gets married, I shouldn't gush over him no more? Does that look like ordinary love to you? To me it seems more than that, like she sees him like her "Man" the truth is that he is not her man, she has a man(her husband) if she didn't, I would advise her to remarry. No one says don't love your son, but some women take it too far, he is not your husband, he will get married and leave you |

Family › Re: Why Are Nigerian Mother In-laws Too Mean Towards Their Daughter In-laws?. by Pidggin(f): 4:42pm On Oct 05, 2016 |
SycophanticGoat: That's definitely her grandchild.. Lol she has a husband but see how she is leaning on her son as if he is her life support, when the boy gets married she will now be in competition with her daughter - in-law, then the guy wouldn't be able to chose. Most MILs have bad marriages, no love from a man, or maybe she's a widow or single mother who didn't remarry. Women who lack intimacy in their lives end up being bad mother - in-laws who can never be pleased |
