My bad. I don't support women whoring themselves out, but I have been a bit too harsh on here. Even though I'm not a gentleman in the classic term, I'll try and be more respectful in my disagreements from now on.
You may not be a gentleman for now, but I think you are a work in progress. No sane person will support women whoring, but it should go both ways. Hope you can keep up the effort, cheers.

This is ridiculous, all six women are Northerners and Muslims?! Only 1, just 1 out of seven is a Southerner and a Christian. Yet some people will still believe that PMB is for "Nobody" grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

So, the competent guys already on the job should be removed so that women can feel good about themselves? Government isn't massaging fragile egos and people with low self esteem. Pray tell, which of the cure appointees would you recommend be replaced and whom would you replace them with?
Competent guys?@bolded, Competent guys?! Okay, yes some, why not?

If you are sincere to yourself, I know you can pick the men who be replaced even without a second thought.

Talks like this are the exact reason people like you shouldn't be taken seriously. As a member of society, You should be talking of merit and not quota when appointments are to be made. You needing role models is A puerile reason for Buhari to appoint more women to cabinet.
Yes, my needing role models is a valid reason for him to consider appointing more females into his cabinet. There are so many capable women who will perform well if given the chance, but they are not even being considered by PMB.

We also need to see more appointment of youths, but the lack of inclusion of youths in PMB's appointments is not the best.

When I opened this thread a few months ago, I saw everything coming. Now the ministerial list is out, and all PMB could manage was only three women in his cabinet?! Also one cannot help but notice the number of women in key positions he has relieved of their jobs since May 29. Another issue is the lack of inclusion of youths in his cabinet. Many of our present leaders were priviledged to become leaders in their youth, yet they refuse to replicate the good deeds of our colonial masters who saw absolutely nothing wrong in handing over the country to the likes of Tafawa Balewa, Nnamdi Azikiwe, Awolowo who were all youths in the sixties.
FamilyRe: Dying In Shock! Never Knew That My Parents Are Not My Real Parents by Pidggin(f):
Holywizard:
Hello fellow nairalanders, this is no joke. (crying as i type)

I happens to see myself in a family of nine(9), seven (7) children & our parents. Am de 6th child in my final year in skul. All through my whole life I never knew that the people i taught where my parents are not. I'll be 22 years of old by next week thursday & no one has ever opened up to me.
This is like a dream because i have never lacked anything from the family & my parents have never been harsh on me (devoted christians).

It was yesterday that I was drinking in the neighbourhood with my friends that I had a misunderstanding with a guy that resulted to a big fight. I wounded him so badly that his mother had to come & when she tried to identify me, people told him about me & due to her being mad & angry as well, she never knew when she revealed the secret. She said I shud go & look for my parents that de people i thought were my parents were not & was it why i wanted to kill someone who has parents?

It was obvious elderly people around knew about it because they were begging her to stop ranting. Later in the night, i had to meet an elderly man in de hood after my pleadings, he informed me that they were not my real parents & that they are just God-sent.
It seems my mum left me in there doorstep.

Am really mad @ everything & since yesterday I ve not eaten & alot of questions are going on inside of me... Why haven't my parents told me since? Why did my real mum leave me in there doorstep? Was she a teenager? Was she raped?
My problem is how to confront my parents because am really mad @ them for not telling me.

Please pray for me because am really dying slowly inside
Dying in shock, you are mad at everything, self-imposed hunger strike? Hmm all I can say is you don't know how lucky you are. This is the reason why some people do not like the idea of adoption, thank God they have their own kids.

TravelRe: Anyone Tired Or Bored Of Living In A Western Country, by Pidggin(f): 3:18am On Oct 13, 2015
Goldenboy007:
Hey nice post, I live in the US too and sometimes life can become monotonous. The western culture lacks the communal spirit we have back home. Their individualistic idiosyncrasy removes the luster from our daily interaction thereby causing us to yearn for the community bond we have back home.
However the challenge is when you finally get back home and you are 2 months into your determination to stay, when all welcome parties have drained all the gifts and left, the reality of the common amenities you have taken for granted dawns on you. Internet, cheap power, clean water, cheap reliable communication, security, good roads, health facility for your family, good education for your kids, social infrastructure, etc - these are what we have taken for granted.
Going home for holidays isn't the same with relocating back home o, so before you ask your husband and kids to join you in this adventure, do a test run on your own!
Then when you get to your fifties, sixties and beyond, the basic amenities you mentioned may not appeal to you as much as the communal African spirit once again. You decide to relocate and build a house with the money you made while toiling in the West, but your Western trained children will not relocate with you, they will abandon you for the Western comfort which you also sort in your youth, they will adopt their individualistic culture and their lack of care for the elderly, and you may find yourself alone and full of regret, It's a vicious circle indeed.

FamilyRe: Can My Step Mother Really Be Responsible For My Borhter's Joblessness? by Pidggin(f): 8:01pm On Oct 12, 2015
@OP, what's happening in your family? why is everyone waiting for your brother to prosper before taking care of your mother? Too much pressure on the poor guy it's not fair. You all need to sit up and take up your own part of the responsibility in the family. That said, some graduates wait for years before getting good jobs, maybe the course he read in school is not marketable, maybe your brother has an attitude problem and can't keep a job, there are so many sides to this. Pray for him tho.

Last time I checked most men were also "given" their positions based on political party affiliations, tribe, federal character and personal sentiments. How many men actually "earned" their positions? Before you remove the speck in another person's eye, try removing the log in yours.

No our culture values women oooo. We are sent forth during our weddings with goodies depending on what the family can afford; some give houses, furniture, cars, lands and household items even financial aid to start your home afterall your husband's inheritance is your to manage. Get the drift.
Okay, I get it, but I heard a wife is not usually entitled to her husband's property(I might be wrong tho).

This reminds me of one of my friends from Anambra state, her siblings bought a car and furnished her husband's house when she got married early this year, I guess it works out well afterall
