Has anyone experienced their e-wallet on the BluNest app @stanbic showing a negative balance?

I deposited some money into my e-wallet around November and immediately used the funds to subscribe to MMF. Since then, my e-wallet has been showing a negative balance of ₦100,000 instead of zero.

Recently, I deposited another amount into the e-wallet, but instead of reflecting the actual balance, it is now showing a negative balance of ₦50,000. I have also been unable to use the funds to subscribe. Even to withdraw the money back, not working

Note: I have written to customer care but have not received a response yet. I am seeking a second opinion

Implementation of laws/orders has always being one core problem

When you registered on the app without going through the customer care via email, this is usually what is displayed.

To full activate the account, you can reach out to customer care via email.

Note: This process might take up to two weeks (Personal Experience)

Who have idea on how to transfer funds into FBNQuest MMF account? I have been trying to do that via the FBNEdge app by using card, it's just not working..

It all depends on what your focus is.

If your focus in life is geared towards working for people or pursuing an academically inclined career, then a first class is worth the effort.

But if your focus in life is business-oriented, building a business empire—then, for me, a first class is just a piece of paper.

Already have an account with Stanbic. Just needed a second option, thought I should go with FB Asset management.

As for Norrenberger, I just don't know yet

Has anyone else tried opening an MMF account with first bank asset management of recent? I have been trying to open an account since on 25th of March, my account is still not ready. I'm like why should an account opening be taking this long. ..

One good side is that they respond to email quite fast but just robotic reply with no result.

@Pierce008, please note that once an account has been opened, any changes you are going to make has to be done via the customer update form especially if the changes involve Name, Phone number, Bank account, or any similar fields.

Don't be scared to fund your account so long as your e-account number has been sent, nothing to worry about. Fund your account and then request for customer update form, with the form, you can change whatever you wish to change.

I think any request for KYC changes has to be sent via email.
Not sure you can update via the app.

How do one update KYC on Stanbic MMF account?

I opened the account yesterday via online but there is some inconsistency I would like to correct, I'm currently skeptical in funding the account as result of that.

According to the email I got, I will need to fund the account before my login details will be sent. With this login details, is it possible to do update on account informations? .

They were probably trying to get you to do Fixed Deposit, as it'll count for the account officers.

N.B: Tbills yield better than any fixed deposit or something.

They weren't straight forward in my observation. They said they have a better platform for me, yet they couldn't tell me about it . Just hype without coming out concrete.

I do not know how Stanbic works process-wise, but for all the T-bills I have done with the first bank, I just walk into the banking hall and ask for the staff in charge of treasury bills, and I do my transactions with him/her.

This is the first time I want to invest in T-bills, and I have been observing these thread for some days now. I am quite exposed to the fundamental things I need to know. So today, I decided to visit the nearest Stanbic Bank to open an account with them since you need to have an account with the bank before trading in T-bills through them.

I told the customer care representative handling the account opening process about my intent. She immediately started trying to convince me to consider another investment option, which they didn’t specify, claiming it was better than T-bills. However, I’m someone who doesn’t get easily swayed, so I told her and her colleague that I am focused on T-bills for the moment.

During my conversation with them, they didn’t even seem that knowledgeable about the T-bills process.

My question is: how does the allocation of an account officer work? I thought that by going directly to the bank, the process would be seamless for me.
Someone should enlighten me more.

I was recently able to get a copy of my transcript from school, but I noticed a wrong date of birth was included-'92 which I used for admission as my guardians were afraid I didn't make the age cut for admission, so they weren't willing to take chances or get my admission deferred till d following year. Every other documents I have has '93-Birth certificate, International Passport including my Original WAEC result..

As I'm in the process of applying to schools abroad for admission, My questions go thus:

a) Does the DOB on my the official transcripts sent to the school hold water? I feel they should be more concerned about the international passport.
b) Will my admission not be terminated on the ground of discrepancies between the age on my transcript and every other document?
c) How possible is it to get this resolved? As every subsequent transcripts sent from my school will keep bearing the wrong DOB.

Before you quote me next time read to understand, there is nowhere in my write up I said he is against the strike as he only mentioned that despite the agitation, there are certain lecturers that are against strikes.

Wether you like it or not in any democratic setting, not everyone will support every agitation.

Personally, I feel every right thinking Nigeria would not support the lingering on of this strike. It's long overdue.

Do you think, it's all lecturers that are in support of the strike? Spoke with one of my prof. one time, and he actually told me that there are some lecturers that are bitterly against the strike.

One thing I learnt from this strike is, if ever ASUU survive this battle against the FG, they will never easily want to use strike as a medium to table their aggrievances again


Both ASUU and FG have shown they are insensitive against the students with their unending disagreements.
