Biodun556:

I learnt that majority of Nigerians don't have access to the dollars from the CBN that's why they bought it at the parallel market

Even banks collect dollars from CBN at the rate of 450 and gave them to abokis to sell at 650/700 instead of selling it directly to customers

This is cheating
that is the only area the policy curtailed a bit but not still totally.

Because our fx reserve is still limited, not everyone will still get it from the bank and will still resort to aboki who will still sell it higher. You can never eradicate parallel market as long as we are importing nations

If that is the case I think floating of naira is the safest
how is it safest,by allowing the law of demand and supply to control it without control from cbn?

Can CBN provide all dollars needed by Nigerians to trade abroad?
they cannot and that is where the pressure will hit naira because the law of elasticity of demand will be activated, and the dollar will keep soaring high against naira because every business person needs it. And we do not export much aside crude oil, so our fx reserve is limited
Politics / Re: How Buhari Naira/dollar Policy Serves Cabals, big time scam by Pierohandsome: 4:48pm On Jun 16, 2023
Naira will hit #1000 to a dollar by December latest. Countries who float their currencies are countries with stable economies. Every other countries with unstable economies like Nigeria operate a fix forex rate to peg down inflation.

Now the defence against naira has been removed by Tinubu and a free fall of naira will be too monumental. He only succeeded in ridding off cabals, but to the detriment of Nigerians.

What Tinubu simply did is to remove anything that serves as cushioning effect to Nigerians at the expense of the government to the expense of Nigerians just like subsidy.

Market forces determining our fx rate is a disaster waiting to happen. We are importing nation and do our businesses in dollars , so dollar will keep been scarce and that will put pressure on the naira further.

Atiku controls the BOT and PDP leadership, if they don't want Okey Chinda, there is no way he could have emerged

I don't really get this part of a woman in a relationship, and yet going out on a date with another man, and the man will still be asking questions about things like this.

Any woman still hanging out on a date with another man even while in a serious relationship is already cheating, or planning to cheat once her right partner comes, you are just a place holder

Though the OP recommendation is naive, your question is quite dumb, sorry to point it out - if you export refined product wont you still earn the same foreign exchange? I guess you didn't think about it before typing.

@OP, the international powers wont let you do it. They will lobby and bribe the weak government officials not to do it in the first place. If that fails they will try to sabotage your refinery building process sis e you source all the parts and technology from them. If that fails, they will refuse to buy the refined products by imposing sanctions using one pretext or the other. They will forment trouble in that country by financing and arming opposition groups in a bid to change the regime. They can sponsor coups and/or assassination by poisons etc. All these will succeed because our people are weak, disunited, gullible and easy to bribe.
You are actually the one making dumb analysis.

Mention any country that buys refined product. If Nigeria refuses to sell crude, won't other countries sell? You think they will buy refined fuel from you?

Una no dey think

The Senate should pass a bill and the President sign it into law that Nigeria will no longer sell crude in any international market, rather Nigeria will only sell finished products. That way the 36 states, of the federal, will own a refinery that will use the over 2 million barrels of crude oil that we produce daily. This is just one of the numerous natural resources that we have in Nigeria, this means Nigeria will then be a hub of fuel production, and we will have no business with a lack of jobs for our teaming youths, rather foreigners will be begging to come to Nigeria to get a job. The White is so intelligent that the created a world market for crude oil sales and the sales of other natural resources but no international market for the sale of fuel.
so where do you intend the country make money from?
Politics / Re: The Anambra Now Proposed Law To Protect Indigenous People Of Anambra by Pierohandsome: 8:19am On Jun 12, 2023
This is needless and baseless.

Allow Lagos make their law to protect their own even though we know most businesses in Lagos are not owned by lagosians, but that law is just a form of trying to fight political opponents. Let them make the law, that will force those businesses to relocate out of Lagos. Let every other state remain friendly and accommodating in their laws so that most of those businesses will flow to them.

I have vowed never to invest in Lagos with the recent developments unfolding, it will get worse. So investing in Lagos at this time is foolishness

Tinubu is bad ass nigga, one Worthy of emulation.

He made Emefiele comfortable, had two meetings with him, no iota of revenge from Tinubu.

Emefiele sideline his own boss, the Minister of Finance.

Buhari chided this mother Fucker, Emefiele cost Nigerians a lot of suffering and agony, it's pay back time fellas.

Lesson learnt here is to "Never create unnecessary enemies for yourself".

He dug his own grave, Tinubu is only helping to heap sand on him.
There is nothing anybody can do to Emefiele aside his removal. He may be harassed here and there , but nothing anyone can do to him.

Naira scarcity cannot be used as an evidence to jail him, except if he is found wanting in any other corruption deed

She's right. The only thing is, you'll never see such vacancies as the 100k salary publicly advertised. Starting salaries for meager jobs like such (gatemen, cleaners, etc) start from 30, 40, 50k, and above on the Island. So, it's not a lie.
You said "you will never see vacancy of 100k salary publicly advertized" ,and you still say " it is not a lie".

Merger jobs can be found anywhere not only your estate. But do they pay 100k? That is why what he said is a lie

You are the bitter person here.

That post you made there, proof read it again. Does it sound sensible to you calling the youths of a whole nation unprintable names simply because of a bad business dealings with just one or two persons? Even when we know that no country on Earth can compare themselves with the resilience of Nigeria youths. Let other nations face what Nigerian youth face here , and see if riot won't breakout

Your illogical generalisation has given you out as uncivilized.

Because you had a bad business dealings with just one or two persons , you simply labeled it as a Nigerian youth thing. So other people that are fixing their cars well by other mechanics , those ones are not Nigerian youths?

How can you label Nigerian youths as drug addicts when we know that youths of Western countries abuse drugs more than Nigerians.

You need brain check

Shey Tinubu has been selected by eye neck, yet they still don't have peace of mind.

Igbos went back to their lives and businesses after election waiting patiently for the ruling from Tribunal.. These ones from a certain region are busy looking for a way to steal back lands other have already paid for and developed.

You can only be jealous of someone that's better than you.

They expected Igbos to be crying and begging Tinubu for appointments yet nobody send dem... They're restlessness 😂😂😂

there is nothing they can do. All those laws they are trying to enact , if any of the section contradicts the Constitution, it won't stand. But so far, no part of the Nigeria constitution accommodates discrimination

Your question is baseless.

What if they are not caught, does that exempt him from divine judgement?

God has already spelt out the punishment for the rapist if caught by man, but doesn't mean he is exempted from divine judgement if not caught.

If you rape a girl today and you are not caught by anyone, does that exempt you from God's judgement?
