Mehn who is that girl?

See me see trouble o. I'm just yarning about Mikel and then she sent for me. Goodjoe con even dey pacify am say "Honey don't worry", "Honey no need" grin

I remember when one of my guys in Yankee met Mikel in Jacksonville, Florida in a mutual friend's house. He cooked soup that all of them ate and the story changed that day. He started calling Mikel 'Mike' and was ready to beat up anybody that spoke ill of Mike.

Maybe it's a similar scenario here, because I can't think of anything I said that could provoke such an ugly response from that girl.
lol.. The passion for super eagles related stuff on display here, you will hardly find anywhere else.
Your attack on Mikel was simply more than many of them, her inclusive could stomach.

You better shut the fück up and shove a tampon down that hole in your face.

Everything we've been discussing here has been within the context of footballing achievements, with an implied comparison of a football non-entity like Mikel to truly world class players.

You're surely too stüpid to realise that if my lack of football accolades strips me of my right to call Mikel a football non-entity, then the same principle prevents you from calling Mikel Worldclass, Dumbass.

In fact if only football luminaries are allowed opinions on footballers, then why are we here at all?

Scratch that, don't answer. Just shove your sausage like fingers up your büm and get thee behind me. Last thing I need this morning is some PMSing ho trying to bust my good vibes with her ancestral demons grin

TheGoodJoe:

You think so!!!

Mourinho did not give Kevin De Bruyne a chance despite him being high quality. Guardiola let Ronaldinho go despite his quality. Ancelotti dropped Rivaldo on the bench despite him being the former World best. I doubt Selection is the ideal criteria to judge talent. The best way for me is impact in the history of the game. Mikel made a great one.
kdb at that time wasn't at the level he Is now. Even now his world class status is debatable, he therefore wasn't anywhere close to being a world class player. He was on the bench for most parts largely because of competition with better players than him (at the level he was).

That being said you should know that when I say walk into any other team, I was talking about footballing reasons.
Don't deliberately try to blur the line.
Ronaldinho was already on the decline when he was let go.
Rivaldo, non footballing reasons...

Anyway I don't want to get into this argument anymore than I already have, I shall therefore go back to th sideline

Big Lie @bolded.... This is definitely not the only place. I know a lotta other sites (don't even think of asking.. Go find out yourself) and I have seen the issue on mikel's class stand its own coz you cannot hide and deny the many videos, clips, achievements on personal and team level and many more...... You cannot deny the expert analyses by bright minds of the game at the highest level on Mikel's kinda game and role... You cannot... Stats/facts/records don't lie.... smiley

And it is not about passion for Nigeria or patriotism. It is rather about Truth. THERE ARE STILL MANY OF YOU HERE WHO DON'T RATE MIKEL FOR NOT WEARING THE MAN UTD SHIRT, OR FOR THE WAY HE DESTROYED BARCA'S MIDFIELD IN 2012 ..... Or even the way he dominated Toure at camp nou in that UCL semis first leg in 2009 (or 2011) which ended goalless before the 1-1 at stamford bridge (Iniesta strike) got barca through miraculously grin

MOST OF YOU OUGHT TO REMOVE THE SCALES FROM YOUR EYES AND CALL TRUTH, TRUTH... YOU RATE BUSQUETS ... BUT YOU DON'T RATE MIKEL.... Exact same kinda players in the DM/CM role with marked effects and influence... With super achievements and with lots of world class performances at the highest level under their belts..... HOW CLASSIC!
too many assumptions in one post even when we've hardly crossed paths.

Mikel would not play that role in Leicester. He is probably more creative than the whole Leicester midfield. But, Kante was immense last year. But the current Leicester team will not win the league even with Kante.

You lot are a special bunch and I love the passion you guys have for Nigerian football, I really do.
But this has to be the only place where anyone can call Mikel world class and not be beheaded grin.. You are taking this patriotism thing a tad too far

Almost all the points against have been made, no need for redundancy but I'm only going to chip this in.
A world class player would walk into 90% of teams Starting 11, without breaking a sweat.
How many teams would peak Mikel have walked into?

Sure I wont lie, After Robben and Ribery, Hazard at Bayern will be our best winger and even as those get older he might be the best winger. With Ribery fitness issue currently Hazard will even be preferable

Coman is small compared to Hazard and Costa is too inconsistent. Costa of Last season can match Hazard Costa of this season is a different story

In the current Bayern hierarchy

Robben
Ribery/Hazard
Costa
Coman
lol
Which one Costa of last season and Costa of this season?
Did age catch up to him too?

Costa is and has always been a Brazilian left legged Antonio Valencia.

Yet Fellaini was our best player in the match.

BTW, need I remind you that under Van gaal, Herrera was playing Pogba's role with little defensive work in a 3-man midfield of Carrick, Fellaini and Herrera and the team all looked good until Carrick's injury put an end to the run.

So, don't tell me Herrera is the only one in town.

Whether he got to play the no 8 role over Fellaini or not doesn't mean he should be let off after a poor performance in a match.
who would make your 3 man midfield rn?

I would have none in my starting team BTW. I'm only pointing out the hypocrisy here and a fact that Fellaini wasn't as bad in the no 6 at the start of the season until some folks started claiming Pogba's poor performance was due to Fellaini. Has Pogba improved with Herrera as a no 6?
Fellaini was worse but that's an argument I have no energy for

So who would start as your number 6

Is there any rule that you must score numerous solo goals before one of them is picked for puskas? The emboldened came short of what i expected from you. chelseafan1 showed you goals that were not better than hazard's and you just jumped into it mentioning one ekuru guy in belgium. You man utd fans should take your frustration elsewhere, we were not the one that pushed you to offer a merefish your prestigious number 7 jersey, only to be playing like someone with incomplete toenails. Bounce jare.
Lmao. You don't need to score numerous but you do need one that stands out from the many solo goals out there and that one simply wasn't.

I don sha bounce... Congratulations on your league title

Not to join the Hazard fanboys but the Belgium Jupiler league is nothing close to the EPL.

It would require sheer brilliance and genius to score that sort of solo goal in England and against a team like Arsenal.

We dont get to see such goals in this country every week 'cos of the league's physicality. Drive my homie, Metu, to the Jupiler league and watch him score solo goals for fun against the likes of Eupen, Westerlo and Liege.
but when puskas is being awarded to a 99 yard belter, they don't put into consideration whether it was Courtois in goal or ayenugba or even our beloved apari.

Same applies largely to defenders supposed to be marking the goalscorer, otherwise we would only have been seeing nominations from top 5 leagues in Europe and not some goals scored in some leagues in South America, Australia or even Asia
