100% RUBBISH.

THAT BIBLE YOU READ IS FILLED WITH ROMAN LIES.

WE REMAIN CONSCIOUS AND ALIVE AFTER ‘DEATH’ BECAUSE WE ARE POWERFUL IMMORTAL BEINGS,

THIS HAS BEEN CONFIRMED BY MILLIONS OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD NEAR-DEATH EXPERIENCES AND OUT OF BODY EXPERIENCES.

WHEN YOU ‘DIE’, YOU WILL EXIT YOUR BODY, RISE UP, AND BE LOOKING AT YOUR BODY FROM THE CEILING.

YOU WILL REMAIN ALIVE BUT INVISIBLE TO PHYSICAL HUMANS.

BUT YOU WILL BE VISIBLE TO THOSE IN YOUR DIMENSION OF EXISTENCE.

I base my belief on the Bible....and not on near death or out of boby experiences.
How can I discard what the Bible says and accept what people in coma says?
What can I say....
You are entitled to your opinion....

Does Judaism have hellfire?

I am curious on the theological context. But you need to be careful about interpretations from other people. The lack of hell makes no sense whatsoever.

I have done my own research.
It makes sense.... The wages of sin is death.

In Nigeria the constitution has stated the punishment of offences.....
So also the Bible states death as the punishment of sin....

Except you want us to establish another standard for punishment

They are dead. They are not missing anything. Have you seen anything dead person wishing for food. They are not missing out on anything because they have cease to exist. Your biblical interpretation is faulty.

If the Bible says death is the punishment of sins. It could be in literal sense that death gives no room for salvation because it is too late to correct their mistakes. Dead unrighteous people are stuck but for dead righteous people, they don't need to seek salvation.

That interpretation seems plausible which is why you have hell in the Bible as well.

If I were to go theological, do you know that in the original Bible texts the word hell fire does not exist?

You will see 'HELL' or 'FIRE' separately not as one one or phrase.

Hell is actually an ancient word which meant the grave

I'll give you references when I get home.....

The Bibles teaching is clear.
Hellfire originated from a mixture of pagan or satanic religion and the fake Christianity being practiced these days.

It was originally formulated as a means to control people and increase the power of the churches....

lol hellfire doctrine

Well Jesus did go about preaching Repent for the kingdom of God is at hand

He wasn't saying repent for hell is real

But He and John did say, "flee from the coming wrath" also Peter's first recorded message in acts.

Well none of God's children will go to hell, not sure if that's counts as an uncruel God to some so.

That coming wrath is death without the hope of a resurrection...

It is both.
You should love and fear for what it is to come if you are not righteous.

Of course we should fear God.
Our fear should be that of displeasing him because we love him so much.

Not because of punishment of being used as human suya.... That's called morbid fear.

If you were a parent, would you like your children to obey you because they respect and appreciate you or because you will leave them with koboko marks all over their body

Always remember that God is love
Ask yourself, will a God of love do this?

What happens in death?

According to this logic, what is the point of being righteous when you can just die as in cease to exit, no consciousness? Nothing is nothing. No consequence. You are not dad, you are just no more. How is that a punishment?

But the Bible teaches that death is the punishment of sin.

When Adam and eve were being warned about disobedience, death was the punishment and not torment.

Genesis 3:3
But God has said about the fruit of the tree that is in the middle of the garden: ‘You must not eat from it, no, you must not touch it; otherwise you will die.’”

All along death has been the punishment and not burning in fire

Futhermore, at death, a person loses all consciousness and can't feel anything including pain.

Ecclesiaties 9:10
Whatever your hand finds to do, do with all your might, for there is no work nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom in the Grave, where you are going.

Ecclesiates 9:5
For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing at all, nor do they have any more reward, because all memory of them is forgotten.

So how can the clear Bible teaching that we can't feel anything at death compare with burning sensation in hell....?
It defies logic.

As for death being a simple punishment, when you consider that we were originally designed to live forever and Jesus death gives us the opportunity to live forever, a person who dies without the prospect of living forever has lost everything..... That's the ultimate punishment.
Religion / Re: Are There Degrees Of Punishment In Hell? by Pimples(m): 9:49am On Apr 07
The hellfire doctrine is a satanic lie that paints God as a cruel, heartless and wicked being.

Instead of drawing us closer to God, it actually separate us from him.

God gave us freewill and wants us to serve him out of love for him..... And not because of a morbid fear of being burnt alive.
Religion / Re: Are There Degrees Of Punishment In Hell? by Pimples(m): 9:44am On Apr 07
Jeremiah 7:31
They have built the high places of Toʹpheth, which is in the Valley of the Son of Hinʹnom, in order to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, something that I had not commanded and that had never even come into my heart.’

God has not changed..... He condemned the burning of people in the past.
What makes you think he has changed?

1 John 4:8
Whoever does not love has not come to know God, because God is love.

How can a God of Love burn people in fire?
It defies logic.
If we cringe as humans when people (criminals) are tortured or burnt in fire, how much more God in whose image we are made.

Romans 6:23
For the wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord.

As clearly explained above the punishment for sin is death.... Not eternal torment in a fire.

At death we have paid the ultimate prize of our sins.
Romans 6:7
For the one who has died has been acquitted from his sin.

Politics / Re: Again, CBN Raises Import Duty Rate By Another 4.4% In 24 Hours by Pimples(m): 9:53pm On Feb 03
DeLaRue:

You think so, but that's not the reality.

There is a pain point at which demand for many imported goods will fall fast. People will simply start buying less and less of them. Whether that pain point is at N1500, N1800, or N2000 to a dollar, I don't know.

But the CBN will have the data. They know. If N1500 doesn't stiffle imports to the level they want, I suspect the CBN will not mind seeing naira close to N2,000 to a dollar.

In some ways, it is to the credit of Mr Tinubu's administration that it is willing to follow this extremely tough path to redirect the economy from import-dependence to greater local production. For a politician facing election in just over 3 years to follow a path that may not show positive results for a few years, is truly brave.

The Nigerian economy was heading for the rocks after over 40 years of mismanagement. Tough decisions are needed to correct long term over dependence on imports.

That naira/dollar pain point is the point at which local production of certain goods starts becoming more viable than importing the same goods. This should translate to us producing more of what we need locally. This will lead to more job creation, less pressure on the naira, and a stronger, more balanced economy in the long term.

But this approach comes with a lot of economic pain initially, as the country is witnessing now.

That's the theory o.

Whether things happen in practice like I stated above is a different matter, because Nigeria's situation often defy economic theory.

As a local producer I'll simply increase my price to match the price of similar imported products.

The difference won't be worth it.
Foreign rice 52k
Local rice 50k
Most consumers will still go for the foreign products because the difference in price is mostly negligible

From your write up, the financial status and prospects of this guy is a major factor why you think he's perfect for you.

(Highlighting how much he earns and trips abroad.....He's about to complete his house and you will become landlady.... You also have issues with his appearance but at the same time claim he takes care of his health)

If he were poor or average, would you still feel the way you do about him.

His mother have seen through you and can deduce you don't have clean intentions.

A man that keeps malice with everyone around him.... That need his mother to decide for him (aka Mummy's boy)
Yet you call him a good man.

None of the qualities you listed about him is extraordinary.

His love for traveling and events is because he can afford it.....

I have been researching a much better way to harvest Rice and came across a special knife Called a SCYTHE attached to a stick.

I have seen several YouTube videos of how it is used in India and I strongly believe it can be replicated here.

Challenges
I don't know where to buy a SCYTHE in Nigeria. I have searched both online and Offline.

I intend looking for a blacksmith to see if he can make one for me and testing it's effectiveness

But locating a blacksmith is also proving difficult

Educating. This is how threads should progress. Let's say I want to come and harvest them and pay you(farm owner) per bag, will that be acceptable to you?

It only means I buy what I harvest for you as a labourer, will that be a good idea?

It will not work that way.
Reason....
As a farmer I won't recover my initial capital that way.
I paid for the clearing of the land
Paid for the rice seeds ( though I retained some bags with superior seeds for planting the next year.... But it quite expensive if I were to buy it)

Paid for fertilizer

Paid for selective and non selective chemicals

Paid for transport and time spent in monitoring the farm to see how the crops are progressing and any intervention needed as well as to check for security (herdsmen or other farmers trying to encroach)

Paid teenagers and other children to stay in the farm during the day to chase away birds ( birds are the highest natural pests of rice farming as they can practically eat up the whole farm if you don't make arrangements to chase them away)

If I were to add all these and others contingencies I may ask you to pay 50k for an unprocessed bag of rice....which does not make business sense.

We do most of these without paying ourselves or use the goodwill of friends and children around to accomplish some of these tasks
Agriculture / Re: What Machine Should I Use To Harvest My Rice Faster? by Pimples(m): 8:34am On Dec 28, 2023
I am currently in Edda Ebonyi State.
We are massive rice cultivators.
Facing similar challenges like you mentioned.
I my own case the cost of Labor this year increased exponentially. No thanks to fuel subsidy.
For instance we used to pay 700 to cut or harvest a portion of land but this last November we paid as much as between 2000 - 2500.

Same thing with threshing or Otiti as it's locally called the price doubled to almost 2000 a bag.
All of these explains the rising cost of local rice.

But the worst part is how slowly it takes to cut a potion of the land using a sickle.
That thing is really slow. It takes an average laborer a day to cut a potion of land which is about a plot of land.

We have more than a hundred plots so imagine how many people are needed to harvest and how many days it will take.
And woe betide you if the rains should meet you before you finish harvesting.
andthink I have a solution.

Dey deceive yourself and be using lies to advertise CNG grin. Is it not same Akure i know? Did you pass through ilesha-Ife highway at all? If I could try it on generator and there was no significant difference, I wonder how it could work on automobile. When the cng was first being over-hyped here. I tackled the OP. Later when some Nigerians got carborateur and tried to convert their petrol gen to cng, they dropped the idea and kept silent.

Even in the USA, the country we used to copy in everything, there are barely 2,000 cng refuelling stations there. Today, petrol and diesel remain efficient means of powering automobile engines. Any Nigerian who falls for this lie the way they fell for the generator would only throw away money once again.
smiley

Oga, what you use for your generator is LNG. (Liquidified Natural Gas).
What the op used on this vehicle is CNG (Compressed Natural Gas)

There's a big difference here.
One is liquid the other is more dense
They don't burn at the same rate.

That is why it's also difficult to refill the cannisters because what you have all around is LNG gas plants and not CNG.

So as he said seeing is believing.

I truly believe his experiment....but the only deterrent is the unavailability of CNG refill plants
