What are your reasons for suggesting Mazda MPV? Have you being using it or have you used any of the other ones? I have always been very skeptical about MAZDA products

Honda Stream mighty be too pricy and not very common on our roads so my first taught will availability of parts. However Nissan Almera Tino may not serve my purpose. But all the same, thank you very much. The price you gave are they current?

Hi. Does Honda shuttle (odessey 1999) have auto gear problems? I'm thinking of getting one but i'm being discouraged that Honda has history of transmission problems. Please advice me?

lonelydora: The Honda Shuttle or the Volkswagen Sharon are okay in terms of your listed criteria. For family use, i suggest the Honda Shuttle. For Transport business, i suggest the Volkswagen Sharon. I have used the Sharon before and i can tell you it's a good vehicle.

I love Honda Shuttle actually but i heard Honda Odessey generally has transmission problems (auto gear problem). Can somebody please confirm this? I would prefer auto gear hence my being apprehensive.

Hello everyone. I need help to make a good choice of a minivan. My family has increased by God's Grace hence the need for a minivan especially for traveling. My considerations are as follows:
1. Fuel economical
2. Low maintenance cost
3. Rugged (our roads are bad)
4. Very reliable
5. The window can be wind up/down (NOT like Sienna 1999 that you can only wind up only the two front doors)
6. Budget - 800-900K

So having considered all these, i came up with these cars. So please i'm now asking house members to help me make the right choice based on experience and facts.

I have a Toyota Carina E with broken dashboard grill as shown in the attached pictures.

Can i change the grill without changing the whole dashboard? If yes, can somebody link me to where i can get it nigeria or somebody who sells such parts?

I called Mr. Paul yesterday and he said he does not deal on dashboard. However, he gave me another guys number who i immediately called. The guy said the part is available and i told him i will need to come down to lagos to pick it up before the year runs out.

Thats the situation report. I will keep you posted.

I'm not sure the model year of the car but i think it should be Europe 93/94 model. However, i have posted some pictures of the to help you confirm the model (i know with your experience, you will).

I will appreciate if you can help me smile when i look at my car.

I have forwarded the pictures to @Siena to see if he can help me. I have the option of overlooking it  but if i must be sincere with you, that will be my last option.

I CANNOT afford another complete dashboard so please let me have the phone no of the "fairly reliable go-to guy" at ladipo so i could see if he will help me out.

Please let me know what it will cost me to get this sent to the country. I guess LHD or RHD dashboard will not be an issue with the grille.

Like i said before, i was told to cough out 40K to buy an entire NEW dashboard because of this broken grille. I know i can get the grille for far less that amount.

Here are the pictures, though they might not be very clear but you can see the problem i have.

Just like you said, it is "simply push / clip-in fitment" and i taught as much too. Our auto mechanics here most times give us the wrong information.

How can you help me get because i believe you can get it over there? I'm ready to pay for it including postage, probably courier.

I will be very grateful if you can do me this favour.

Please i need your help. I've have benefited from your wealth of experience in cars before in this house so i have come yet again,

I have a Toyota Carina E (4A-FE Engine) which runs really well. I have a problem with the dashboard. The "air vent" (i don't know if that's the correct name), the one close to the windscreen, i.e. from where the windscreen is cleared while driving on a rainy day, is broken. The sight of the broken "air vent" has defaced my car and hence the need to change it. From my "layman" inspection, that section of the dashboard is detachable/removal from the rest of the dashboard.

I have been trying to see if i can get it here but mechanics keep telling me i have to buy a complete dashboard, meaning i cannot buy that section alone. The cost of a complete dashboard is about 40K here n i don't have such amount to spend where i believe is possible to get the part of the dashboard.

Please what do you suggest i do? I just hope you will understand what i'm saying since i have used non-technical terms to describe the problem. I would'nt mind to send you money so you can help me buy and send it from there, that is if is possible. I just want that thing changed so i can smile when i look at my car.
