Hello everyone. Anyone know a garage where I can do a very good RHD to LHD conversion in Lagos?

I'm looking at a complete conversion for a toyota vehicle that I will not have issues with AC.

Hello house. I came across this car, Mazda 5 2006, a compact minivan with sliding doors. I liked it but I have never used a Mazda vehicle and is not very common on the road. I please need information on the car from car gurus in the house and those who use the car.

1. Are the parts easily available? I dont live in Lagos so wouldn't be going to Ladipo
2. Are the parts pocket friendly? Any idea of the cost of common parts like shock absorbers, etc,
3. How reliable is the car? Any know problem with the engine, transmission or electrical?

I have attached the picture of the car. All inputs will be highly appreciated.

Economical to win as far as consumption but as with any Mazda once it starts giving problems... That being said, that one seems to have quite a bit of life in it. You'll know more if he inspects for buyer.

Could you expanciate on "as with any Mazda once it starts giving problems...". What are the problems you are referring to plz? What are the peculiar problem with Mazda car?

I will base my decision to get this car on inputs on this. I'm already in love with the car. I was considering Toyota Picnic but the car is just bland with no ecstasy n used mostly for commercial purposes.

Plz who knows about this Mazda5, it looks a very beautiful minivan n has ALL I look for in a minivan. However, being a Mazda product i wish to know more about it in terms of durability, availability n cost of parts.

The display is wonderful, Samsung did wonders with AMOLED. The battery took me for a whole day of active use. The selfie camera is also very good.

I forgot to mention that mine came with April 1 update already installed so I didn't have to install any update. The just stands out the almost all my friend would want to have a feel of it.

It's highly recommended if you are still having a second thought of buying the phone

I bought Samsung Galaxy A30 not withstanding the negative reviews. I can confirm that the phone is awesome. No proximity sensor issue, fingerprint sensor working perfectly, the camera is very good, I compared it with Huawei Y9, the speakers are loud enough. I bought 10D tempered glass to protect the screen yet the phone is very light in weight.

Anyone who is interested in this phone should go ahead n buy it as it's a very good phone. I charged last since yesterday n I am still using it without need to recharge. The fast charging rocks. It went from 67% to 100% in abt 35mins.

I recommend this phone to anyone who cares about a quality phone. Samsung indeed did not disappoint.

There are many negative reviews on this Samsung A30 especially the GPS, proximity sensor and camera live focus. Please anyone who has used or is using this phone should please help me confirm if the phone has these issues? I love the phone but these negative reviews are making me have a rethink.

I am considering Toyota Picnic or Toyota Avensis Verso for a family minivan. I actually prefer the avensis verso as its more roomy but have read things about the 1AZ-FE engine fitted into it. Things like burning oil, stripped bolt, etc.

I am looking at a fairly used of any of these. Please I will need your advice.

They are both reliable they also have same engine the 2.4 variant, though the avensis has a 2.0 too while the previa has a stand alone 3.0 V6.

The previa is bigger. Both come in auto and manual and mostly converted so ensure conversion was done right

Thank you @nurey. I want to ask if the well publicized problem of stripped headbolt with 2AZ-FE engine affects this vehicle? From what i read online, it is mostly reported for US cars using the 2AZ-FE engine like Camry 2003-2006.

Hello house. I need the advise of experts in the house and those who have experience with these vehicles to help me out.

I am looking at a family vehicle, a minivan which will be used majorly for family movement within the city and to travel from South West part of the country to South East like thrice in a year.

I have narrowed my search to these two vehicles - [/b]Toyota Previa 2002/2003 or Toyota Avensis Verso 2002/2003[b]. I considered that both vehicles use 4-cylinder engine, roomy enough for passengers and loads, about same price (automatic transmission ONLY) and then has rear glass that can wind down.

Please i now need advise on these two vehicles in terms of:
1. fuel economy
2. maintenance
3. durability
4. any particular issue with any of the vehicles
5. Any other information

beware of badly converted ones......or stay away completely from converted ones

If one is buying a converted car (i mean RHD to LHD converted), any pointer as to "a badly converted" car? Are their things to look out for in a converted car before buying?

The problem has been solved. The intermittent stalling was as a result of loose negative terminal of the battery attached to the body of the car. I removed it, changed the screw because of rust, clean the body and screwed it back and i cannot believe my eyes the problem disappeared.

On the idling problem, it was narrowed down to IACV. I'm yet to replace it but it does not idle so high again because the hole for the IACV had been partially closed to reduce the amount of air sucked into the manifold. However at cold start the RPM use to be very low but once the engine warms up it stabilizes at about 900 RPM. I will still have to change the IACV but still using the car like that.
