Romance / Re: I Told My Naija Parents I Don't Want To Get Married And This Was Their Response by pinkysegun(m): 12:40pm On May 27, 2023 |
A lot of you here at supporters of obi,a lot of you her claim to be supporters of democracy yet you are against someone's choice of not wanting to get married. Democracy comes with freedom, y'all arent ready for that. I have relatives whose husband ran and left them to fend for the kids when small hardship comes, i know a lot of nigerians back home and here who are unhappy but are married cos tradition and family pressure. We need to learn to respect peoples choices. The reason nigerians prosper abroad (which you all latch on and claim they are your people) its because of freedom. Marriage isnt for everybody you can check your bible marriage isnt compulsory it even have good points to not to.......go check am or google it. 1 Like |

Culture / Re: Names Of Various Animals In Yoruba Language by pinkysegun(m): 11:02pm On Dec 17, 2022 |
Olu317:camel is a desert animal the people you mentioned live in desert the north of Nigeria is connected to desert. The level of ignorance in this thread is frightening i bet you lot still belive nigeria won india by losing 1-99. Tigers dont exist in africa at all bit leopard looks like tiger amd tiger is commonly spoken about so its easy to see why people ise ekun for tiger, even as a child back in naija my dad and uncle always told me ekun is leopard but people mistake it for tiger. Even some of you don't know the difference. Ps english has name for all 5his animals cos they conquered the world and borrowed words expecially from latin. French etc. Just as the yoruba word for french is the yorubanisation of the english word French why the yoruba use a yorubised word of french. Anyways phrase like tiger of africa are always wrong. You can chose to open your mind and learn or still drown in your ignorance . |

Biafrarep: how come there are more bllacks than natives(almost extinct) natives inn carribean more whites than blacks than native americans in USA? or black south africans than sans in SA? more whites than asians in the asia/ siberia parts of russia etc you get my points most times the the majority arent the natives ask the red squirells of europe if the grey squirells are natives. generally in biology the natives often soccumbs to the invaders same in human history |

keally: The igbo region isnt just landlicked, its an enclave just like Lesotho, a country within a country meaning nothing can leave or come to that country without the outer countries permission And please some of you on this thread need to do some 5 mins googling before posting, check your facts please And jeez 2 much hate and cursing, every tribe like to blame the other for their failings, ask yourself what hads your own tribe, governors, leaders etc have done to move your people forward? It is a common habit for blacks to always blame others for their own failings |
