I hadly sleep during the day time, wetin be hardly, I don't sleep. I don't ever leave them with her at home and sleep, something will go wrong. Before now I used to be worried about her hand picking attitude but now I had to tell myself at least she can't sha eat all I have at home so I go to bath without carefully listening to how she opens the kitchen door. I lost my first baby during delivery last yr, my mum said she was sick and my MIL came the NXT day to take care of me. This baby came as a preemie and it took my mum a week bf she came infact my hubby had began making plans to have his mum around,he felt my mum didn't take the situation serious as I had to bath baby sometimes except for church member who came around sometimes. It was later I got to find out she delayed her coming cos my younger sister having her husband people come around for marriage list of which I knew nothing about (am the firstborn) So u c, my MIL is one in a million, she can take a bullet for me. She is ur mum doesn't mean she should make u unhappy by not assisting with chores n omugwo tins.prior to my delivery i decided n discussed with hubby dat his mum should come for omugwo first,since she is stronger,after she leaves my mum can now come,by den i would hav been strong 2do things myself,family members n friends nearly crucified me o,but i took my stand because i know it's me dat will suffer if i listen 2dem.Had cs,mum inlaw landed 3days later,loaded with almost evrytin frm d village,she pampered me ehn,i barely touched dd,xcept 2 breastfeed her,i even left dd twice n travelled,she pounds yam 4 me almost everyday,she is in her 60's,b4 we wake in d mrng,breakfast is ready,house is tidied,bath water 4us is ready,she kept shouting at me 2take tins easy dat it is Cs i had so i should carry my body like egg till properly healed,dat shis dia 2help me with evrytin,d list is endless o,she stayed for 4months +.
The very day she left,my mum came,hhhm!Dat was wen i knew dat stress n chores can make one go crazy,but i had already prepared myself ahead,i bathed dd for d 1st time myself,was doing evrytin myself n had 2 cook special meals 4mum 3times daily ,did evrytin in d house myself,got 2 a point had 2 appoint her 2 sum light chores in d house,(she has health issue,so doesn't nid much stress)she is trying now n everybody is happy unlike b4 when i do her cooking,serving,laundry,cleaning n other things.
So my point is u no ur mum better,if she cannot 4 any reason do d things dat omugwo demands,pls let her go so dat sum1 who can wil come,den mayb later she can come.
Pls try n establish dat bond,it mayb hard at dis stage in life,but its very important,i understand where u r coming from.

Since she clocked 6 n I introduced semisolids I've been making pap myself for hygienes sake.
Few weeks ago she lost interest in it as she's now on family diet,she loves boiled carrots/fish, coconut rice amongst others.so I felt there's no need making a full rubber of pap and decided to patronize a woman that does home services.before I conceived I usually patronize her cos hers was clean so I was sure of safety

My baby fell sick since last Tuesday n d temperature, vomiting stooling refused to stop even after treatment.been thinking in circles wat she could have eaten.only for me to see live MAGGOTS in d so called pap I bought from d lady on Monday.I only buy little that can last a week so how on earth did they get in
Lord have mercy my baby ate that and fell sick almost immediately,though I didn't see dem while preparing,probably they were coming up. I stylishly confronted the Lady this morning just to get d right words from her and she confessed
I still can't believe my ears
"Oh madam rabbits dey disturb well well for my area, even sef the stand wey I for dey press my pap na e b their area of concentration, most times dey go tear d sack and eat part of the pap" those were her words
I'm at UBTH now to carry out necessary tests on my baby and get her treated before facing that woman.ITS JUST WEL!!!

Meanwhile, today was our 4 months immunization. I am so so thankful to God that my babies are super healthy and adding weight well.

As we are talking about cream things, let me ask. I have been using only chicco massage oil on my babies body (excluding the face) and sometimes coconut oil when I make, but I noticed my baby's face is lighter than their body despite the fact I don't rub cream on face. Is it normal? ??

For dia faces being lighter,its very normal in babies,my dd 's face is lighter 2.

Una see why y'all need to start cloth diapering and cloth wiping? No complaints about wastage, infact Himself uses the cloth wipes gladly. Do you know I cannot remember when I bought wipes this year? There's even a new company for cloth diaper babies by cloth diapering mothers coming up and those people mean serious business

Hello mamas. Been a while I posted here. Welcome to the new mamas.

MY LOS of 13weeks plus no longer sleep until about 11.:30pm and then sleep without waking up to feed till 5am or so.
Should I wake them to feed at night or just allow them to sleep till 5am?

Mummy,allow dem 2 sleep o,1 thing i know is dat babies wake up themselves wen hungry,babies hav sleeping pattern n it's always changing as dey grow,pls just enjoy dis pattern cos u hav no idea what d next pattern will b like.I envy u sha,no more vigilante 4now.
