From a driver's perspective , the business is still very much lucrative. The cost of car parts have gone up but so also have the fares on trips (even though its not directly proportional) .

Once the car is 100% sound the only parts the driver will get to fix will be the parts around the suspension . That is the hub, stabilizer rods , brake pads and after a while the shock absorbers , lower arm bushings and shafts .

Once you have an experienced driver in the business you will have peace of mind and receive you weekly alert promptly .

Also you can set up a weekly or two-week physical car inspection so you can see how well your car is faring .

Transport is a good industry to invest in because people must move around , similar to food industry because people must eat.

You can try it for a month and if it isn't what you expect you can decide to pull out .

I have done uber in both places, I returned to lagos last two months because Abuja is not as lucrative as lagos .

1. Once everyone has gone to their work place the orders become very very scarce .

2. Trips to the airport are cool but just know you can't pick anyone from the airport , you risk being fined .

3. long pick ups especially for uber . Imagine the pick up distance being longer than the trip

4. Too many short trips . I'm talking 400, 600 , 450. Omo you go just tire .

5.If you wan to make money from uber in abuja then you cannot avoid driving in the night , because that's the only sure time you get consistent requests.


If you own the car you can make nice cash in Abuja. But if you're asking which one is more lucrative then lagos is .

Doesn't make sense to you . It makes sense to them . Understand that everyone has their way of doing things and make life easier for yourself.
