I learnt this lesson a while back while reviewing my monthly statements, and since then have enjoyed better trading.

It is our strategy for TRADE MANAGEMENT and PSYCHOLOGICAL CONSISTENCY (under the tension of a real cash account) that turns 50/50 to profit or loss. The trade call itself is a smaller part our success.

(I hope that those people who get offended and pick quarrels when other people's trade call is against their religion are taking note).

the only pair that has completely showed signs of reversal is the eurnzd pair. . . . .i am not saying it will not go up a bit in the next few days but there is a 90% certainty that it will fall to 16310 since the reversal pattern is already complete. usdchf looks like it is retracing for a further southward nose dive to at least price 8854. . . . .i hope it doesn't retrace, i'd rather it just continues it's journey. . . .sigh!!. . . .if only wishes were horses. . . .anyyywaayyy. . . . . usdjpy is also about to complete it's reversal pattern for the upside (not too sure about that pair though) if and when it does do that then we might see uj go as high as 8200. mind you these are all long term projections though. Any thoughts?. . . . .anyone?. . . . .anyone?. . . . .no?,  . . . . really?. . . . .damn!!!

No body has superior knowledge of any subject matter on earth; certainly not me. I simply brought in a perspective which I am sure many traders are overlooking, which is the role of financial news TV in informing traders of possible market sentiment. And truly, the news was all pointing to a good day for the Euro. Nothing dramatic!

Personally, I am way too busy in the mornings to post anything here; most of my posts here are done in the night hours when I have peace and quiet around me.

Because too many of you are only looking at technicals and ignoring all the market moving events over the weekend.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Nicholas Sarkozy met and discussed the Eurozone crisis over the weekend. These are the 2 biggest Eurozone economies talking. They came out and issued a statement to support banks in the Eurozone. This was put to the test today with the bailout of a major Belgian bank.

These events shored up investor confidence; a situation arose to test the resolve of the biggest Eurozone economies and they responded just as they said they would. That is what sent the Euro soaring across board.

ALWAYS LOOK AT THE WEEKEND EVENTS IN EUROPE IF YOU ARE TRADING THE EURUSD. Euro is heavily affected by the political and economic events in the Eurozone. I always tune into Euro News, CNBCA and Bloomberg on my DSTV. You will gain a lot of insight by watching these channels.

make una leave Soundcity and MTV Base and Channel O; pay more attention to what will put money in your pockets!

That silver trade was just holding my capital with hardly any movement, so i got out around 2pm today but got burnt on practically everything i traded to day

with the way the eur is flying, it is easy to forget that technicaly it is still in a downtrend though i'm glad it went up. . . .made some good pips from it. One of the reasons i like trading long term. . . . . never lose sight of the big picture.

For some reason i think this silver is preping for a nice fall. . . . .strategy! dont fail me now. . . . .

Trust your strategies but time your entries and make sure your account can survive the drawdowns. Still it was a risky play because if the SNB had adjusted the EURCHF peg the trade would have delved further into a losing position.

i am shorting usdcad to price 10016. . .0.1 lot.  . . . . .longing eurcad to14350. . . 0.1 lot (with the full knowledge that this pair is technicaly going back down to 13580, when? i'd guess when the bulls get exhausted. it's already broken divergence to the downside. usdchf don teach me lesson about price not obeying immediately) and shorting usdchf to 8600 (still holding my short on that pair). . . . any thoughts on this?. . . . anyone?. . . . no? then frack you too. . . .

very strong likelyhood that eurcad will fly to as far as 14400. broke divergence twice in the past without completing price projection, . . . . i might be wrong though. . . . .

I think you are leaving the usdchf trade too early. . . . it just had the first divergence break to the downside since on the 27th of last month. i might be wrong though. this usdchf is fracking bastard. . . .all other pairs obey instantly but this one. . . .

Broken divergence ?What does that mean?

i know you know how divergence works. . . . . but for some reason i noticed that the peaks and throughs coincide most times with support and resistance and when they are broken price normaly follows the opposite path. . . . . been testing for two months, came second twice with it on a demo trading competition. . . works on most pairs, went live with it until usdchf nearly gave me heart attack but that changed yesterday when trend finaly changed. didn't follow the rules with an audusd trade and got burned.

for some reason my strategy is telling me that silver will fall to 2452. . . . . .when? i dont know. it's broken divergence twice. . . . probably better to trade this pair long time with minimal lot size. . . . .

Well you can only thank your luck because this temporary move down was never because you knew it was gonna come down now, at the same time, you should have done what i said you should do (selling around 0.93xx for 0.91xx, at least that would have saved you alot of $$$ and even if you decide to close the previous sell at any price around 0.91x, you still would have been in profit) just saying incase you didn't sell from 0.93xx

for now, i dont have anything to do with uchf, she's dangerous Michael Jackson's style.

so the usdchf move downwards is temporary. . . . hmmmm. . . . .lol. . . . .
