So I became serious with learning to trade recently, February 2024. Why I took it more serious than previous years is because I wanted to give my life great meaning. I’m the 3rd child of 6 siblings, all are earning but I’m not. I don’t know what it is with my fate, destiny or reality but I find it difficult securing a job. 6years after leaving the university no gainful employment. Is there a curse laid on me in that regards?
Anyways, so I came into the FX space with the mindset to give myself meaningful existence, pursue financial freedom, time freedom and location freedom. I am an overthinker and this trait seem like a burdened disadvantage to me. I thought Photon trading on YouTube gave me clarity on Market structure but then, it seems like I’m not there yet.

WHAT IS THE ISSUE?
I’m introverted by nature and this jobless state of mine coupled with me getting older each year, I have lost all the hope and faith I thought I had. Nothing gives me Joy except on rare occasions I open the chart to analyze. I love to isolate, with thoughts running through my head always(my brain wan blow).

WHAT DO I NEED?
Aside gainful employment, I wish an insiders information could be shared with me on ways to earn. With that I could feed proper and my mind at ease while I continue my learning process.

If you dey find mentor, them plenty, but if you are looking for a family of 9ja fx traders, stick to the group. There is love and we understand what youcan be going through. Walk with the wise and you shall be wise.

Also read books like think nd grow rich, to change your mindset about success. Bible says if you compare yourself you are a fool.

Atleast you have a strong why, trading is a business that can make you financial free. I'm an example. From now, believe you are working on your business and put in the effort and time to master the necessary skills needed to succeed.

Trading as a business gives you many opportunities to make money from different instruments. Meet lots of great and rich people. But getting to the top is not easy, at some point trading will be easy, because you have mastery.

I woke up this morning to see Gold, Silver, Us30 and Nasdaq haven't moved a single pip since 10pm. Could anyone know why? I use FBS and they didn't say anything about abnormal trading hours due to holidays.

Then they deactivated my live account after they took the $9,000 profits, then they made the $9,000 deducted count as a daily drawdown and then used it to breach the live account based on maximum daily drawdown. How can you steal my money and make it count as a daily drawdown?

I can relate. The thing about prop is that you have to compound profits. So I'll advice you set biweekly or monthly withdrawal.

I think the prop industry is coming to an end or getting regulated thanks to the united states.

These evaluations or challenges are scams on the long run. propfirms should be regulated.

I'd wait if I'm earning some big money, I won't bother at all, but mann, if you see the distance I cover everyday to reach the school and back, you'd think I'm some refugee.

I understand you. The market offers us all freedom. We just have to be wise about it because trading itself is like doing nothing, most times we just dey wait like tiger finding the next trade.

You can be the new gucci teacher riding a Mercedes benz. You need a life outside of trading so you don't transfer the faustration into the market. Being a teacher is not bad if you love impacting ur students.

Forex is our main business but since its majorly online, find something offline doing. So boredom wont affect ur trading.

I'm quitting my teaching job this month end and I'll put all of my Salary in my exness account, I'm better off trading than earning minimum wage and spending more than half of it on Food and Transport.

I'll be aiming at 3-4k a day trading Gold, I'm all in.
