Keeping lnbf at 3'oclock facing east with 12728 on H gives u green with no much hard labour,while facing your dish 90'from east or south east with lnbf facing 3'oclock with 12728 on V gives u green with no much stress.12605V/29950 is the best tracking freq as sirus is the closest freq with w3a.Any dish apart from original dishes like strong 80cm and 1m,eurostar dish and space ll stress u to get signal from west.This problems is common with fake space dishes in our market.I ll advise us all to strict on strong dishes,1m strong the one with mytv logo is the best for w3a.

The mention the world key made u guys wanna spam this our last thread with email donations,for ur information,this things dosnt work like that,before u know someone ll start asking the keys to open our providers here mytv,dstv,hitv and even ctl and other terresrial providers. You guys should know that the existing guys in nairaland re no gods or scientist but ordinary guys like u guys that knows the full meaning of search and research. At times instead of wasting ur precious time asking questions in the this thread just type the word 'google'and u may see ur self answering questions instead of asking. Ilish is new with a lot to share,George was there for u guys but i believed repeating question might ve piss him off. The best thing that ever happen in fta for a long time is the new patch1.09 for 69x if u fully understand what sharing is all about.Strong technology is still the best for receivers in africa.Please those in lagos should open a thread about startime if theres no existing one,i dont know why they keeping long to transmit in ph.

Thank God for the makers of strong receiver,i think what remains now is how to get r232 to connect to internet via sssp,now you can do card sharing with strong even with wireless sensors,but hey dont worry i ll create a thread for card sharing soonest.

In southern nigeria we use to think that nilesat is for the northerners until we got some good guideline from adewet and badaru. In south south of naija where i reside we use to think that no good channel is meant for us or else you use 4m to 5m dish and since 2.4m can not give us mbc uae steady in nilesat here all hope were lost until i ve to do my home work well and discover that badr is on our foot step whereas people in lagos can not even receive it. So now we can receive all the good fta channels in nilsat with badr. I wish someone ll just make up his mind in ghana and make this nile work for u guys.

Thanks for the link but the patch is old and in use already by most of us,thanks man and keep it up. From what enitan said i think you might find it challenging to track nilesat from your location but all hope is not lost because guys in ghana did not do their home work very well,i still dont see why someone in ghana can not get nilesat while it can easily be gotten in western nigeria. Adewest might of help to you.

I detail everything you ll need here and how you ll go about it,first of all i dont know how many channels you want to distribute in all the rooms but that ll determine the number of receivers you ll need. Okay lets say you re working on ten channels per room. This re the materials you ll need;
10 Recivers
10 Rf modulators
1 Distribution Amplifier (alkad 45,47db preferable)
1 Drum of coaxil cable x300m
Connectors
6 Apartment amplifiers (alkad 24db preferable)
Card splitter (optional)

I ll detail how to connect each equipment in my next post,i ll also post how to make very good use of rf modulators and how to network any kind of apartment being it 10 rooms or 500 rooms without lose of signal. Also rf freq separation play important role in cable networking. Theres a possibility that i might omit some materials but then when we ll start our theory networking tutor we ll find out.

  @ pitodenz still waiting for your secret technic towards a better and faster way to nail nilesat because each time read the post of some members of this forum saying they spent two, four and even a whole trying to track that bird gives me the creeps. The one that freaks me out is that of enitan whereby people who have tracked that before came to help and yet the time was still extrem.

The problem of bigger dishes starts from the assembling,wrong assemble of pan dishes makes the installation very difficult. Dont worry i ll post a write up of how to tackle problems with tracking out of beam satellites.

Your question i not clear,but if u re looking for a way to get a video signal to your bedroom,why not use ur rf out or better make me to understand ur question well.

Anybody that has problem with installation,networking and distribution of satellite tv should drop it here. Also if u have receiver malfunction of any kind let hear it here for solution. If u got a very good solution for any of the above please share it with us here.

Installation of big dishes re different from small ku dishes. We have big dish for c-band installations for within reach beams which we mostly motorize. Another one is for tracking off-print beam ie.out of reach beam like nilesat,badr,hobird,eurobird and many more.
Now you re having problems with installation of off-print beam which u were unable to get even within beam signal like nss7ku due to ur inexperience with bigger dishes.
This what you ll always do when installing any big dish mostly locally constructed either fiber or pan dishes. First of all try and locate a very easy within beam like hitv signal or nss7ku,this is to test the focal calculation of the dish which in most cases must come green no matter how bad the focal length is calculated.
If for instant am to track nilesat @ west i ll first of all look for nss7ku which is a within beam and the result i got from it ll tell how good the dish is. Any big dish that is unable to get all the tps in within beam signal to maximum will not be able to give a good result with out of beam signal.
I ll list the secrets and techniques that ll guide you for a successful installation but that will be in my next post cos am very tired now,i want to go to bed.

That is exactly the same thing i was arguing with some folks here but then there is nothing bad in avoiding rain. I dont believe it either but since it got to do with health i dont mind being a stupid man either. 80% of people here in ph re suffering from running nose due dusty atmosphere.

I dont know if this is a rumor or true but since it is something concerning health let me us all be careful. The arrival of astra2b and W2A has made fta interested again at least i can now advice people for 2.4m motorize dish again. All fta hobbyist should have at least two BUD dishes in their compound,one for out of reach beam and the other for within beam preferable motorize. But make una take am easy in watching test 4(french lover tv) in w2a lol!
