@ George D K5 lnb is very good i know. Infact is the lnb that works well in ph main city. You can also use pauxis c band lnb if u re lucky and it works for u, u ll tag it the best cos it is a copy of supermax and strong lnb,boost signal very well. @ segunfms how can i contact u for dvb s usb. Hope u got a full version codec.

           I think the ip is working well now,since saturday. Remember to secure it cos yellow guys re at work,they ve blocked so many ip i ve used. This is the only one that succeeded for more than 24hrs. I LL txt it to you.

Follow adewest instruction and see how it goes. But i think u may end boosting Horizontal signals thereby loosing channels in Verticals tps like pulse,eatv and the rest. Just give it a try first and if it did work out for you look for the strong lnb i mentioned.
On ftb. I think is not a bad idea to pay for yf later than to be a free user. Reasons re
1. No hourly disconnection
2. Increase in bandwith(you can watch many fta online without freezing)
3. It very cheap compare to all our providers.
4. Its still ftb cos you re not paying any provider
5. You can enter any site no matter the restriction(very good for hackers)
For ur info its the yellow guys that upgraded,has nothing to do with yf guys. I manage to still get a loop hole ip after very long hours of pinging. This is the fastest internet connection i ever use,imagine watching sky sports and over 1000 channels from net for free. But u ve to get 3g to speed up.

I know that with time these will become wahala in most areas. At first i noticed it when after installation, channels like cnn,sabc,star tv starts breaking even with a very high signal strength. First of all i tried glass in place of di-electric place but the result was the same. So i quickly start changing to any lnb i can lay hand on. First of all i tried strong but found out that strong drop cnn signal to very weak signal and could not get tbn tp even battle to keep eatv steady. These problem became automatically solved when i discover this k5 strong lnb and i can remember in season 1 when enitan was asking me to list out materials for fta for him,i made mention of strong k5 c-band lnbf to him.
Strong k5 lnb is not different from other strong lnbs. The k5 is engraved inside the lnb. Just remove the lnb cover and look inside it u ll see it. Strong also has K1,K2,K3 and K4 but K5 seems to boost signal more than all. Remember that no matter how K5 boost signal, supermax is still the best in terms of signal boosting. But K5 ll boost more on Horizontal tps.

The problem is not from yellow guys but from yf guys. They trying to force us to start paying for their packages thereby reducing free servers to almost one. Anyway use wizard to look for servers but avoid server 01,02 and 22. Contact me if u re still having problems. yf still rocks am posting with it.

            Get yourself a strong K5 lnb and all these will be over. Though supermax boost signal more than strong lnb but u ll be surprise at the result of these particular strong c band lnb. The problem with supermax lnbs is their unable to adapt with areas where theres communication equipments like mtn masses. I only use them in rural areas. But supermax is still the best in terms of signal boosting.
  In ftb if u ve 3g in ur area,the sky is ur limit. Just buy one of yf packages preferable Enhanced and enjoy without disconnection.

         Badr is no big deal with 2.4m dish,use the freq i posted previously. I ll post some pick of my new installations in badr and nile with lnbf ranging from 0.1db to 0.3db. The lnbs name re DarkGold o.1db ku lnb from uk, Invercom 0.3db twin lnb also from uk, Fuji 0.3db lnb and digisat ku lnb. Among all fuji, worked better in 4.0m fiber dish while darkgold 0.1db worked better than fuji and digisat in my 2.4m eurostar pan dish.

             Never cut a fuji lnb cos it seems the only lnb cut by the manufacturer.

I told u guys that once the season starts all cards ll go down. Orbit is using seca and irdeto encryption in badr,definetly they ve merge their ecryption method and if that happens am waiting for the juju guys to come up with an update for the both providers. I pray seriously that this my theory ll happen cos i cant turn to nilesat and i ve jujucard waiting.

I was hoping that one of u would ve answered microgiant queastion regarding the possibility of multitv box having internal card reader just like sabc nagra box in south africa. You guys should please confirm for us and also get an inside information on what multitv intend to do in future.

       Tracking freq for badr is 11900V/27500 or use 12341H that is aljazeera 1-8 seems to be the highest tp in badr now. 11747 has down time so it may not be steady with 2.4m dish. The good thing about badr is that unlike nilesat all the providers re well arranged. Take for example mbc,all the mbcs has one tp so is rotana owners of fox movies,aljazeera and so on.

If i can get sabc in this my location with 2.4m, i think u guys re not doing something right. Though sabc signal went down to 54% with strong X-SERIES

@chuk101, my crtv on my daarsat decoder is cracking but when i switch to my strong decoder it is steady with 98%. Are u experiencing the same thing

I also experienced the same after an instllation in one of our member here in ph. But i told him not to worry. This why i cant do away with old master 4652. I ll track with 4652 nd see the outcome on daarsat decoder. How can one get 98% and still get it breaking in another receiver.

i got my 4.4m dish hooked up 2 nilesat yesterday night n got 245 channels. Big thanks 2 olofofo who has not being selfish wit is experience.

I used FUJI High Definition 0.2db LNB (given 2 me by olofofo) cut by me to get 73% on my trackin frequency 11862 V n most of d H freq came out except for 11996 H (showsports freq) and 11843 H (nile sports)which is jumpin btw red n green.

While i was at it yeste AD SPORTS was showin Barca match, nile is da bomb.

wot am i not doin right for me to get show sports? My Lnb focal point is on 90 degrees or thereabout while facin d dish n is smoothly parallel wit d scaler. Please help i wil return back 2 it after work tonight.

With that size of dish you stand to have all the channels in nile at your hand without even one breaking. According to what u wrote i can confirm that ur focal calculation may be okay.
Okay,now try to use another lnb and see the outcome, or if u re the patient type just use the showsport tp and start tweaking the lnb small small. You u may also try lnbs like digisat and invacom.

Yes i cut my digisat before i got good signal. I bought it 800 bulks from kaduna. Yes it worked far better than fuji in my own case.

How was ur badr installation. Did u guys succeeded?

         Eurobird2 and Badr are not at the same elevation. Eurobird is on 25.5 and badr is on 26'. This two satllite we suppose to be getting in one position but because they re out of beam signal u may need to move ur dish a little in order to maximize ur difference receptions.
         Am using 2.4m dish in ph and if u were following up my post u ll see how i manage to succeed. If u re using dish bigger than 2.4m and with ur location u may be able to nail the two bird at the same position.
         With the help of GRAND MASTER LNB(Digisat 0.2db)i was able to nile all the MBC 52%,JSC 1-8 72%,Fox movies and Series 66%,BBC 52%,EuroNew 52%,Aljazeera English 54%. Press TV,BBC ARABIC,CNBC ARABIYA are all in boader line 49-50%.
        Also i use to ve down time on some of the tps. But my mbc and fox re there 24/7.
I ve to move my dish before i can get Eurobird2. That when i need to listen to CNN or MTV. Am yet to get MTV ARABIYA IN Badr.

            I ve broken the myth in ur guy's compound in GRA PH. He can now enjoy C-band in his compound. His now getting ready for the old roger. We also place order for titanium 0.1db ku lnb,you may need to contact him before he move to uk.

Lyngsat just placed multitv beam to Nigeria. Na waa for those guys ooh abi they want make multitv tell us say the beam to us is a pirate. Why am saying this is because multitv has never mention the sale of their boxes outside ghana.
Dstv new HD decoder is not bad at all. But the funny thing is the way they tried to convert it to dual view system using multi-switch and an extra SD decoder. Men is funny no b small,all in the name of HD dual view. HD fever don dey catch our paytv one by one. Who's next?

Thanks for the tp on badr. Yes i got all the 8 aljazeera sports but the good news is that most paytv in nilesat might migrate to badr. Then the bad news is that they were encrypted with 3 solid methods,namely VIACCESS,IRDETO and SKYCRYPT.
How on earth do we gonna hack this encryptions, jujucard,cococard,gammacard,anacondacard etc? Believe me all this card might go down at the kick of the season.

The only option is to get the one they re yet to customize and use to downgrade the upgraded.but u ll need a usb to usb cable to do that.

         Daarsat  seems to be full HD receiver and the receiver is from KAON. If we make more reserch,probably we might come up with a patch. Any moment from now all daarsat receiver in the market will be cusomized,that was why i need to secure one sharp sharp now .
         Any one who get the idea of how to use Nokia N96 to watch old Roger for free should contact the house. I saw one Benin Republic man using it today. He said he got it from Cotonou. How i wish they re English speaking country like us cos we all should ve been sharing this forum just like our blackstar guys from Ghana. The phone has TV output and men it was serving as his reciver. He even watch Canalsat Horizon with it for free.

@ Tox sorry for the incident. God is in control. @ All u guys should stop blaming strong or their dealers for the high price tag for strong HD receivers. Those receivers re for europe,middle east,australia and the rest of rich oyibo country. If we can wait 'which i know the waiting will be too long' for strong to produce HD for africa market, that ll be the only way of getting strong HD receiver below 12k. But since Mytv controls importation of strong in this our part of the world, i dont see it coming so soon cos strong still ve 4663x black which is new in market. Moreso, Mytv is not going HD today. But with dstv bringing out a new HD pvr dual view decoder, i believe the race to HD has just started. Someone told us before in this thread that multitv receiver is N14,500 naira equivalant. But according to what Adewest wrote i think Daarsat receiver is better than multitv receiver. But we re safer with multitv receiver in case something happened. Mtn gprs has been off in my area for more than 1 week now. Those in ph should get patient with slow connection via yourfreedom. George D do you think that i would ve rest if my west view is clear? Those orbit channel always get me mad anytime i browse them. Supermovie,america plus and the rest shows that dstv re just stealing money from pple when they ve noting to offer. @ all am going to miss cheater in etv if etv eventually go off. Anyway i ve too many alternative even though they went off is only cheaters i enjoy watching. In the other hand i like etv to even go so that our pple ll stop settling easily for one satellite that has very little or nothing at all to offer. As i always say i believe in trying new things. At first a refused to use fuji lnb but after you advice for it,i tried it and it failed me. So i return back my shop 2.0db lnb and continue enjoying my precious fox movie. It was yesterday i came across Old Master Digisat 2.0db,it was already cut by me long time ago,so i fixed it and still NoWay. I now removed it and cut it exactly the way i cut the shop lnb and fix it and wam! for the first time my mbc jump to 50% bbc,euronews,dubai one,all the jsc came out. So u see we mustnt always depend on fuji afterall is very expensive. Imagine fuji being sold for N5,500 here in ph and i got digisat from north for N800. And this time digisat performed better. Maybe fuji is good for fiber dishes but that i confirm once i used this my latest cutting on fiber dish with digisat. @ emeystan if srt 4910 is sold for 9k in alaba then my name is James Bond lol.

Thanks for ur advice on my badr installation. But the distance between the dish and my door is not up to 2metre so that is no hassle for me after all i only watch cnn in the morning time and few hours in the evening.My main concern is the movie channels.The height of the dish is also of my advantage about 3 feet, so anytime after rain i ll just go outside and sweep away the water log on the pan and my signal ll just bounce back.

Men,with what u just mention about showtime and orbit it ll be a matter of time they ll be using the same encryption program for badr and nile,then i ll be watching the best paytv package in the world. You need to see what orbit has to offer + showtime package.Hope the jujucard ll be able to open it then, cos they re using two encryption software seca and irdeto2 for encryption in badr.

I still cant get mbc steady with my 2.4m eurostar dish here in ph. So i set for work yesterday and could not get it beyond 35% with old strong so i tried eurobird 2 @ 25.5, there i got only three channels free,they re cnn,mvarabia and boomerang, all other channels re scrambled. Is orbit network hacked in any of the jujucard? I need answer.
Now am alternating between badr and eurobird2 which means i ve to outside and move the dish down any time i want to watch fox movies. Am using shop 0.2db ku lnb with 2.4m eurostar ground mount dish. Any idea how i ll increase my signal?

@ adewest i dont believe with u that multitv ll go encryption. If u may remember sometime ago in this forum when someone was asking if we got an association of installers in Nigeria. I believe this multitv got something to do with it. Ok lets look at middle east where channels like cnn,bbc,fox movies and series,neckledon,nat geo and many more world class channels re free. Are this channels not been host in the air or do u think as many use to think that its their government? Nope,later they generate enough money from advert. Take etv for instance,if etv is not making enough money do u think they shouldnt ve not joined dstv or upgrade their encryption. What multitv might do maybe because of african mentality is to customize their signal to their box only,but even that ll require a smartcard. Even if they do so, i still dont think they ll go for monthly subscribtion. So even on that they re still free(free forever) as they say.
