@ olofofo congrat @ emexi all my emails re exposed in my profile. @ George how body? Rain could not allow me to do finish my installation yesterday.Am just coming bacl from Uyo for nile installation,the Lebanese guy could not believe it when i gave him badr in place of nilesat cos his west is blocked and i got all the channels he was looking for. @ butoneday how far with ur installation.

@ George D sorry bros it was not nile but badr,i should ve go for nile but the dish is ground mount so my west is completely blocked off or else i used pole. Another thing should know is that the difference between 3m and 2.4m is not much,as for the lnb,we shouldnt depend on fuji alone. @ olofofo do u think that the new fuji can be good in tracking out of beam satellites like nile?àbt

@ all i installed 2.4m eurostar dish for nile in my abode at ph. I first of all start with a pauxis ku lnb which gave me a very poor signal i ve to switch to digisat lnb but my digisat lnb was dead(victim of thunder)leaving me with no better option than shop 0.2db lnb,since i didnt remember to come home with fuji lnb i was frastrutated with the shop lnb result. Then it occured to me to cut off the plastic bottom that was when i started getting some signal. Right now am watching fox movie and serier 53% mbc signal is 34% in old strong and couldnt come up at all in 63x,mtv arabia,bbc re no where to be found. I didnt stress myself so much since i knew i did ve the right lnb i just align the dish for like 15min and i ve up to 72 channels. Moreover the dish is a ground mount and i couldnt get a very clear view in the east in my compound. I ll continue when i get chance again. I ll also see what i can get with nile. I would ve post the pic but i ve no internet connection now.

@ all the freq 11013 and 11054 posted for the tracking of badr4/6 should not be mistaken for badr. The freqs re for orbit pakages in eurobird 2 @ 25.5' and all the channels re encrypted except cnn and one other channel. @ adewest welcome back.

IF YOU ARE IN PORT HARCOURT READ THIS:

1. 90cm dish will never give you the type of program you may want to watch.
2. 90cm dish are mainly use by paytv's like mytv africa,dstv,hitv and trendtv.
3. If you wish for better program you may need from 1.8m dish and above.
4. 1.8m and 2.4m mesh dish are mostly enjoyed if they re motorized.
5. if for any reason you re not satify with channels and programs in your motorized setup like most people complained,then
6. Safe yourself the motorized setup stress and money for jack and positioner and go for
7. 2.4m pan dish or 3m mesh dish for fixed satellite like nile or arabsat.
Since nilesat is a very big problem in niger delta region even with 6m dish,i hereby advice us all to go for badr 3/4 generally know as arabsat. If you manage to get a very good signal in your nilesat installation,any little change in wheather you stand to lose your favourite program untill the wheather clear. Badr is one satellite that has all the nilesat channels apart from pakages like showtime,art and jsc+. Badr has all the mbc in one tp,fox movie and series,bbc and cnn,mtv arabia and so on.
So why spend so much money in purchasing comstar 2.4m mesh dish whereby at the end of the day most people ll be looking for 24hrs entainment.
I ve had so many complain about mbc uae and now u can ve it all with 2.4m dish in ph so the choice is yours.

@ Enitan is it possible to turn the fake strong to original, i taught that once u download a fake with the original software ur machine will turn blind and stop working
@ at pito i made inquiries concerning the new model strong and was made to understand that the have plans of bringing them into the market

It is not a new product but a new face of of strong receiver. As i said before it was in market but withdrawed by strong because of the existing product. I ve sold it to more than ten customers though it is no more in market now.

                 Lol. Men i ve to run away from a nilesat dish after i found out that the signal i was getting dropped to 50%,when butoneday called and told me that the same result was his case,i was patiently waiting for your magic to turn up again. My brother we re in it now(rainy season),olofofo cannot use his nilesat again,the same goes with baba  Badaru himself. After encountering my nile problem it was only one nile dish that i saw working and that was a Lebanese and it was a 3.2m but the magic is that it is a 0.1db ku lnb which i got from Israel. I know it ll come to this but i did not anticipate it to be s bad. My brother our problem is lnb  finish.

@ sammu the one i ve was sent from europe and i doubt its availability in ph. @ olofofo some guys re complaining bitterly on their removal in the google group. Plz sign back arsenal1 in the group,the guy absence was due to his academy load. I just refered him to upload some ftb software.

@ sammu diseqc 1.2 positioner uses any kind of actuator or jack and its for big dishes while usual diseqc motors re for small dish 1.2m maximum.    @ enigma plz would u be kind enough to give me the details of how to install usual motor in ph again?

We all should be thanking F_marshal for sharing this wonderful experience with us. If tried with prime focus dishes which i strongly believed it ll work and it works,i think that might boost our Nile signal. When i first examine fuji lnb performance i became to wonder why it works better than entire ku lnb in our market,that was when i reach the conclusion that it was because of its wide bottom which enables it to accumulate more signal to the receiver. But this was i theory until i saw f marshal post ,then i became to believe this theory the more. Since no one has tried it with prime focus dish on nile,i hereby beg George to give it a try this weekend . I myself ll try it with 3.0 mesh dish on nile before weekend.

Brothers i need you help urgently,i have loaded the firmware(Austrialasia) posted on the Strong website into my SRT 4658X and the 6969 key is not working again.
How do i solve this,i try loading that for Mytv africa on the stong website but still i cannot open ETV with the 6969 key.
Do anyone knows of any patch for this model.

@ emexi u re exaggerating the whole thing cos i cant seem to compare ur said disturbance to what those of us who expose our numbers to public in our profile were expriencing. If u did not invite them to ur said office they wouldnt come there. For nile installations i dont expect u to say u spend ur time and energy just for nothing for ten people and moreover enugu nairaland members i can recognise re u and odilibe and maybe one or two persons more. U can also configure anybody laptop on fone calls cos i ve done it like that for almost all the nairaland members. My brother i dont like that ur post at all cos that ll scare most of my brothers in the east away from this thread whereas am praying for more easterners to join this forum. Plz people in enugu should join our forum and learn how to do their installation free by themselves and also learn and be updated in all ftb trick,no shaking if pitodenz,enitan,emexi and many of us can do it,u self can do more. If u get any questions we re all here to help. @ Graciousme i saw a text from somebody in the east somedays back but i was working in an isolated house boat,no chip in my fone. But am back.

@ enitan it ll soon be all over the market. I heard that strong has to withdraw it from market because of the existing product. In ph is only one dealer that was lucky to purchase from Zobis in Alaba before strong order to them to stop the marketing until the old stock finish. Since ur nile installation ll stand by may 29(obj day) it might ve flood the market by then. @ Badaru- butoneday called this morning that he ve got the magic gamma plus and the thing is working like fire but the price of that card is coco x4

@ George D The new strong 4663x is not fake. It is yet to flood the market because of the existing product. There is no changes just the face and i think strong did it to control piracy. @ chucks 4663x was in market for some months b4 strong start dispatching text messages so hold on they may send it later. @ F marshal your pic shows the reason why fuji lnb works better than other lnbs even 2.0 db lnbs. With this i dont even see the reason of cutting our lnb for signal boosting, i ll give it a try,thanks for the info u re the man.

@ George D- like i told u,i received ab4 signal 10758 on my last nile installation here in ph. But the amazing thing is that the signal would not come more than 56% with 4m dish. Another thing is that the alignment is no more the same with nilesat 101 and 102, u ve to move the dish slightly down before signal will pop up.

       there's this new positioner in the market now that support the use of diseq 1.2 from our receivers just like usuals. The positioner has an input to the receiver making it compactible to diseq 1.2. This a wonderful experience cos u ll not need two remote controls to use ur motorize setup,only ur receiver remote hence ur coaxil cable from lnb enters the positioner,the positioner has an output port that ll go into our receivers.
